You might also want to blend the winglet with your wing surface, preferably tangentially to avoid any discontinuity in the transition section.

at 3:05 min in the video, you scale down the copy of the profile. If i follow your exact same steps, i end up with a message that changing the value would create an invalid geometry ( scaling up) or the profile stays the same size, but rotates in a way that the drawn middle line is oriented somewhere on the profile, where it matches the new value ( scaling down)

I like your video, very informative... Have you done anything with designing an elliptical wing out of coordinate system airfoil? I would like to make a top and bottom mold of a model glider wing 1.5 meter to be able to CNC machine, then lay it up with carbon fiber.

Hi Anda, I'm trying to follow what you do in this video, after deleteing the 3D sketch, at about 1.24 min, I get the message "this sketch has not been updated because solving it would result in invalid geometry..." Do you know why this is?

After convert entities, copy the 3Dsketch at selection plane, if this doesn't work please make sure the training edge of sketch is countinue line. Hopefully can help (keep trying)

Drawing on a CAD platform is not "design". Design of a winglet is much more than thumb sucking a few airfoil positions and angles. It is a good video, however, to show how to loft wing section surfaces.

This is general design type of aircraft wing, if you need the specific you should have a blueprint of aircraft
