Google "Beaches in Africa" and incredibly beautiful beaches and resorts are the first thing you see. This information is not hidden. Anyone with a phone or computer can access it in seconds. All it takes is a genuine interest in Africa.
I don't think "they" even exist. Charity groups use poverty videos to raise money. I don't condone their behavior but imagine showing rich SA and expecting people to donate money. People's views of Africa have changed a lot over the last 2 decades. SA hosted FIFA World Cup and the world turned in.
@@kaybeemoafrika if you don't believe the propaganda against Africa doesn't exist then you are really naive. It is all part of the inferiorization process and it has been working for the West. I am South African based in the USA and the only images the general population here sees of us is poverty, civil war and animal national parks. Most people in the US don't even know that Africa is a continent and they are not even aware there is any development in the continent. I am mostly even questioned about my South African model c accent and some implying that I am faking it because to them Africans have one generic accent and that is one they use in Hollywood movies. We speak of this world figure called Mandela but you will be surprised that a few know what part of Africa he is from. The charities you talk off are the biggest scams as most never reach their donors. I mean which child in Africa would live off a dollar a day?
@@keiram.2287 It is all propaganda and well executed for a reason. For one I am South African working in the US when I some of the most mentally draining images about the continent I cannot relate to. I sometimes sit there and think "where do they find these people?" For one,do you know how much trouble you have to go through in order to find a kid with no shoes who hasn't eaten for the days? You literally have to land at the airport, book yourself a nice hotel, go eat a meal in plush restaurant with South African people, plan 4-8 hours drive to an outskirt area whilst passing the most amazing developments to finally arrive at the location where you had to prior ask a person to research so you can do your perfect piece of "The poverty faces of South Africa". I bet people like you don't know that South Africa is more developed than other European countries with a GDP higher than some European countries.

Next stop - Ballito in KZN. Swimmable ocean, exquisite views and sunsets, and unbelievable real estate. Definitely an undiscovered part of the country for tourists.
Those who know know how elite Ballito and KZN beaches are. Crowds do tend to flock to regular and expected CT beaches but Ballito and Zimbali and whole KZN north and southern coasts(San lameer) are so chilled…ppl often just think of Durban central as where it’s at in KZN and nope that’s just introduction to the place…go further out

The water in Clifton sucks big time.its freezing. That beach isn't for swimming... It's just for looking pretty in the sand 😂 you need to go to false bay for a good swim.... Muizenberg, Fish Hoek.... And anything in between. Please take a cab out that way. Stroll along Kalkbay. It's lovely there.
Yoohhh don’t like swimming, just dip my feet but still can’t do it in Clifton coz the water is ice cold damn 🤣😂

@@thembi9645 no that place is just a lifestyle beach😂 I'm a a Capetonian and I never go there... Only if it's a sunset get together or something I'm invited to... Once in a blue moon. But otherwise if we want to swim... Only false bay coastline. But Atlantic seaboard.. Clifton camps bay and surrounds.... Lux AF, still a beautiful mood booster 😁👍

Take a day trip to the False bay side of Cape town, eat fish and chips st Kalk bay, seim at Fishhoek beach, sea the world famous Boulders beach where African penguins breed and finally sea Simonstown. Then on a second day trip from Simonstown to Noordhoek beach, Scarborough, Mistu Cliffs and then Kommetjie. You're not seeiing enough of our beautiful city, young man. There's much more than Camps bay, Seapoint and the Waterfront! Enjoy! ❤️

Just FYI to everyone saying the indian ocean side, there is no Indian ocean side in Cape Town, the false bay waters are warmer due to it being shallower (which mean it warms faster) because of the inlet shaped like a C (amphitheatre shape) in that part of the Cape. But it's common knowledge that west coast beaches are mildly put freezing cold 🧊

We dont swim at clifton, its just to enjoy the beauty. That Atlantic water is actually painful. The water is super warm on the Indian ocean side (Muizenburg) which is also in Capetown.
How far is this from the Atlantic water?

The Atlantic Ocean is fed by the cold Benguela current. Go around the Peninsula for warmer water in the False Bay. Although technically it is still part of the Atlantic Ocean according to the scientists, but to the locals the water temp are significantly different.
