NOTE: Lehigh is made in Quakertown, PA, NOT to be confused with Lehi, UT.

Thanks for the video... I wish more folks would test the various HoneyBadger calibers on RUclips. Kudos to you!
That is the exact LCR .38 Special I have.... model # 5440 with the Rose Gold cylinder (although a lot of folks & websites refer to it as a copper cylinder)
That is also the exact ammo I keep loaded in my LCR.
I also upgraded my LCR grips to Pachmayr Diamond Pro... IMO, the Diamond Pro grips make it much easier to grasp the LCR and manage it's recoil.

Yeah those velocities need to go up. I just chrono'd the Underwood 9mm+P 90 gr Xtreme Defender at 1,543 FPS. Obviously not the same cartridge or barrel length but still.

Has there been any shootings using the lehigh rounds yet?

Enjoy your videos, Dave, and gave this one a thumbs-up, as I nearly always do. However, I do have a little nit-pick for you. Lehigh Defense LLC has not relocated from Pennsylvania to Utah.

Oh, no... am I confusing this with a town I once stayed in? I need to look this up now... May be censoring my own vid in a minute... In which case, thanks for the head-up!

I tried a similar 100 grain Lehigh bullet (Xtreme Defender) in my Ruger LCR & I don't know what the velocity was but it had much more kick & muzzle flash than any +P load I've tried in my LCR. I shot 5 rounds & saved the rest for my .357 magnum. The +P version is another 100 fps faster still.

That's not that fast for a 100 grain round high tech round

Indeed. But the recoil is completely unnoticeable.

@@GeographyCzar What was the temperature at the time? Cold can lower velocities.
