When I downloaded my codes in the Excel file, I noticed that the order of the codes is not the same as it is in the Dedoose. Which option to activate in Dedoose to ensure that the order of codes in the Excel file matches the order in Dedoose. thank you
You're welcome! You can first arrange then in alphabetical order before you export them. You can click on the ' Codes' tab and on your left side where you see all the codes, go to the blue bar and click on the 2nd icon. You then turn on 'Sort Alphabetically'. I hope this helps!
Sir ., good evening ., I am going to code good and bad behaviour in cartoons . Which should be the main codes the sub codes will be tantrum., physical assault ., Empathy etc., how to code main code and sub codes . Please help sir
At the initial stage, the easier way is to focus on creating only codes to address the research question you have. When you finish developing initial codes then you explore the relationship between them - grouping them to develop themes.
