Makes me want to cry. I am almost 70 and have two knee replacements and my days of exploring are over. I am a widow of a south Texas game warden and we spent many a day exploring. I have boxes of Indian pottery and arrow heads. I am sure if my husband was still around we would be out and about, but alas, it is over for me. 😢
Even a very small campfire at night can be seen for many miles. Those rock walls could be for helping conceal camp fires, could also be a windbreak and something to put poles across to make some sort of a Hogan or at least temporary dwelling. From up there they could see for miles around. Fascinating!
Definitely a great place to watch for intruders mainly the Calvary .l have a special place me and my son discovered many years ago where there are thousands of petroglyphs and dozens fortifications ,it’s an Apache hideout and fortress elevations around 6700 ft that offer 100 + mile views .

Love the fact that you got to do this hike with your brother. Especially in these times, we're reminded that there's only one family we have and that we have to do our best to keep it.
I am really enjoying this latest adventure. It helps me unwind after my essential job. As a poor working person, I’ll never go on vacation to the wide open far away places, thank you for showing them to me. And for explaining stuff.
Have to say again, I am liking these videos. You may be getting older, but you and your brother have some great guts, and stamina to hike all over like this. I think you have many young people beat.

I am really enjoying this series! You look at the things that I would want to check out if I were there. I get to live vicariously through your videos! Thanks! And hi Pete! Lol
Wow you were really close to my property I think. I'm in the south eastern part of AZ close to NM and the white mounts. Really close to some abandoned gold mines and the US largest open pit copper & etc mine. They get other minerals too besides copper. The gold is what holds up the Morenci mine but copper is main source.
At 9 min 18 seconds the mountain in the distance there's a crescent shape on the left side if you are closer it kinda looks like in my opinion of Donald Trump's face sticking out the top as the ridge. That mountain burned about three years ago it was a sad but marvelous site of nature recycling so that more will grow and also create different environments, all on the same mountain.
I was imagining a milder climate with water and buffalo herds roaming the grasslands. Fields growing crops and people doing their daily activities. Thanks for taking us there Guys!👍
Awesome adventure thanks for taking us with you. At 10:12 that square or cube I've seen in many of rocks in the hills of Northern Utah. Always wondered what they are.
When I encounter areas like that in Az, I think those long ago wanted a high spot to sleep. Since they needed to pick up the stones to get an open area for sleeping, they just did it in an organized way.
Another neat and historical video with the Indian ruins. Beautiful country too! Good idea not to go way out there by yourself. Do not want to hear that "Chigg" is missing out there!
Another cool video thanks PS we used to go to Chatsworth Park and the San Fernando Valley and they have rocks like that and one day when we rolled right past us while we were hanging out up there we decided we didn't like that we came back with my dad's pry bar from the railroad a Roald whole bunch of them down the mountain very satisfying
Those holes might be water catchers. Other cultures in the world have them too. In certain middle eastern mountainous locations, there's thousands of these "pots" in some places.
when you went up to Kenny Veach area you uploads are absolutely HISTORIC I was shocked in what you said perfect narration and army man you will burn for showing what you showed and said
5:27 - the walls in the Google image almost resemble an owl. The curvature of the top right wall continues to the left which would be the owl's head. Then going down the hill there are 'zig-zag' walls which could resemble feathers - very cool!!!! An owl in Indian Mythology is considered luck.
That was a nice looking plant. Reminded me of a palm tree. You can tell that you and Pete are related. There is a family resemblance. 😊 It sure amazes me how the Native Americans would go to great lengths to be safe up on the hills. Wow.
thank you beau so much for theses awesome trips ..places ill never see.. those indians.. i still cant imagine how tough it must have been to live there... thank you stay safe!!
Chugging - you need to take a trip to California, into Death Valley. So many things to see. But you really need to check it out with the Rangers first. There is a lot of things to do but you could end up sitting in the desert for a few days before you can get help.
Thts all me an my brother used to do. For years.. lived off grid for 25 years outside of Snowflake Arizona. Lived among the Anasazi ruins..There was Anasazi ruins on my property.. I sold my property moved to town .. lousy nieghbors bought land an moved in around us out their. Time to get out
Thus we have, as related by Casteñada, the historian of the Coronado expedition, a brief outline of the Grand Canyon of the Colorado, at that time called the Tison (Firebrand) River, which was discovered by Melchior Diaz and his company. On their return Cardenas and his companions saw some water falling over a rock, and learned from the guides that some bunches of crystals which were hanging there were salt, of which they gathered a quantity and brought it back to Cibola, dividing it among those who were there. They gave a written report of the expedition to the commanding general.
My son and I love your videos. We go exploring when I have the time off. I am interested in seeing some of the caves and ruins. Would you be willing to share some information. We live in Safford Arizona and haven't really found anything cool to check out.

You know what I will try to invent something for people like you don’t give up. My dad just had a knee replacement so this speaks to me.

If I had your address I would send you a south Mississippi artifact or two to cheer you up. I'm in my 50,s but still picking em up

There are some cool mines in a place called Douglas or around the outskirts of the area.

The desert is so beautiful and the history there is awesome. This was great Chigg . My brother won’t let me get two words in when he’s talking.
"Two old timers climbing the mountain!"
(Like Moses and Aaron?)
Funny....😂
Still one of my favorite yt channels, been watching since 2015, keep up the great work and amazing videos as always.
What a magnificent place to visit and what wonderful pictures you must have. Always enjoy when you guys head west.
I was imagining a milder climate with water and buffalo herds roaming the grasslands.
Fields growing crops and people doing their daily activities. Thanks for taking us there Guys!👍
Imagine that as a home with a view! wow!
Although I'm sure the walk home from the pub would get old fast...
Enjoy that time with your family, time flies man. Another great adventure in the books, thank you for taking us along.
That is an awesome place, I'd never make it with my bad back lol. Thanks for sharing Beau!
YOU NEVER SEIZE TO AMAZE ME BEAU! VERY COOL! YOU CLIMB THOSE MOUNTAINS LIKE A MOUNTAIN GOAT! T 4 S AND BE SAFE! 👍👍👍😘😘
I feel much happier there are two of you x stay safe two old timers climbing a mountain!
Its remarkable that they would build at what seems to be a great distance from water.
I have found pottery shards where the makers finger prints were still discernable. I thought you had the same on the rough piece that you found.
Lived there 40 years ago wished I’d seen it then too, got to see a lot of ruins but not that one, thx Beau
GLAD too see your not out there alone. Brother's
It was great meeting your brother! Y’all look so similar, two good looking Ouimette brothers 😉
That was just about as scary as your caving videos - had my heart pumping. Here in the Midwest we like our land flat and open to the sky...
The scenery is absolutely gorgeous!
Such a strange & wonderful place.
Good to see you and AquaPeter...
Love all this Arizona trekking! Used to live in Sedona AZ, love all of it. Worked on an archeology dig in The Village if Oak Creek.
loving these hikes, along with the River hunters second season, I'm getting so much chigger entertainment atm :)
If you're ever this side of the pond I'll take you on some desert adventures
Awesome adventure thanks for taking us with you. At 10:12 that square or cube I've seen in many of rocks in the hills of Northern Utah. Always wondered what they are.

Wow two Aquachiggers!!! 😃
Always amazing just HOW many ruins there are out there in Arizona, isn't it? And that view they had...!
When I encounter areas like that in Az, I think those long ago wanted a high spot to sleep. Since they needed to pick up the stones to get an open area for sleeping, they just did it in an organized way.

Great adventure for you awesome pictures and see you again on the next episode 👍
Very cool! Thanks for the adventure with your brother!😀👍
Great time capsule of the native history I. Places most will never see. Thanks for sharing the journey
Hi, the beautiful green plants with broad leaves and sharp points are Spanish bayonets. American Indians used them to make sewing needles.
Amazing that those walls are still standing through centuries or millennia of weather.
Love these walk abouts so facinated it's like watching a history program keep making them
Mr chiggs 😜👍
Really enjoy these adventures as I’m no longer able to do them, keep up the great work.

How far away was their water source. I find it amazing that they would climb up and down that mountain everyday for water.
Depends how bloodthirsty and savage your enemies are.
Totally cool ! Thanks !

My son and I love your videos. We go exploring when I have the time off. I am interested in seeing some of the caves and ruins. Would you be willing to share some information. We live in Safford Arizona and haven't really found anything cool to check out.
Beautiful place
Really great series!
I have been watching for years, but I don't recall, is the outro credits your music?
