Kudos to the producers, directors, writers, camera, sound, drivers, etc. of this show. Your passion for all humanity shows in every segment, every show. You allow the viewer to “feel” for cultures that we may never experience through human hearts and eyes. Thank you.

I lived for three weeks in a grass hut I built on a beach. It was a isolated beach on a island in the Indian Ocean. It was paradise. However, after 3 weeks I had enough of the isolation and headed for Thailand. Now I have lived in the same house since 1985 in Spokane and don’t fool myself that I would want to live like that.

The thing is that this type of living isn’t for everyone and that’s fine. The majority of people who want to live like this don’t understand how much work u need to do everyday. U do u.
With the way things are in the world today, I'd live in a place like that too. Safer and much better except for the ocean...mother nature can be cruel with tsunamis or aftershocks but pray that the Lord will always calm the sea and protect you folks there. Blessings!
for everyone saying they would go insane in this kind of isolation, they’ve basically been doing it their entire life, so it’s just their lifestyle by now.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind living there. My goodness, that dolphin hand carved for his daughter is so precious. Better that anything you could buy.
Nope. It’s not possible in this or any universe to carve anything with hand tools in a more precise or clean manner than with more advanced tools.
