Even I could tell from his physique and those beady little eyes poking through the mask that Wrestling Machine #1 was Scott Steiner. The only question I had was who was Wrestling Machine #2? And why was Scott Steiner wearing a mask at the time? Was he ashamed of his brother, Rick, who was a heel in the Varsity Club at the time?
I know this reply is four years after the initial question, but the previous answer given is wrong. You asked who the wrestler was with Lawler at 28 seconds into the intro of the show. That wrestler was Bill Dundee. Dundee/Lawler made up one of the most successful tag teams in history of Memphis Territory. They were also responsible for one of the best, most intense, and longest running feuds in Memphis. At the 28 second mark in the intro, Lawler and Dundee had just won the AWA World Tag Team Titles. The previous answer given of Sid Vicious, though wrong, is right when it comes to the wrestler behind the hockey mask later in the show. With the hockey mask on the wrestler is officially known as Lord Humongous. That character was portrayed by several wrestlers through the years up to 1989. But in 1989 it was Sid Vicious.
Undertaker part of the stable? This is why I still love RUclips. Thank you for posting.
Sid Vicious--meet your future replacement in the Skyscrapers in WCW---"Mean" Mark Callous!
Wrestling Machine is Big Poppa Pump 💪
I expected Madusa when I heard simply irresistible. Not good audio for Jeff Jarrett clips.
Sid's taller than Undertaker here. Did Undertaker go thru puberty in the WWF?
I think they're about the same size. Sid just happens to have a rather poofy golden perm that adds a little to his height.
Rodney Napper,is really napping!
