Glad you enjoyed it. It was a blast to watch her experience many of the "feels" we did all those years ago. I agree, she's definitely ready to take over when I hang up my hat. Happy Easter, Tayger.
@@retroCombs I like your channel! I also do some retro computing, in my channel but it’s generally an engineering infotainment channel. But you are true hardcore retro, so a well deserved sub, are you familiar with Retro is the new Black? Wolfgang is also a great retro-tuber and a great individual as well. It’s cool that retro is in again.
Mr. Money bags! 😂😂 That would have made the experience more enjoyable but I am glad I got experience what it was like to use the Datasette. Thanks for sharing!
Loving that fact that someone who is already tech-savvy is enjoying beginners' BASIC.
I think she'd try more given a little more encouragement and time.
Nice edit from the livestream! Fun watching Kat work through it!
She was a champ. I don't know why, but livestream edits are my favorite.
That brought me back so many memories when I started with the C64, thank you!
And hey retroKat, you‘re on a good way to take over retroCombs cave! 😄

It’s so cool seeing a young person go to town with the ancient stuff, we GenX saw as the leading edge of technology
I agree. Same reactions I had when I first tried my Commodore computer.

Hello Kat!
It was a blast having her take a first look at the Commodore VIC-20.
I bought the 1540 floppy drive with mine instead of the tape. I never used a tape drive.
