Mosaic Martial Arts Assassin clears P8 CS with mid gear in 5 min - D2R No Enigma, Infinity, or CTA

- This time I went into single player P8 Chaos Sanctuary with medium budged gear to push the limits of the new overpowered rune word Mosaic. The build does not require any high runes or super expensive items and can be had fairly early in the ladder season. The character and gear were created with d2runewizard.com/hero-editor.

For this version I used the following charge skills:
3x Claws of Thunder
3x Blades of Ice
3x Phoenix Strike
3x Tiger Strike
3x Cobra Strike
No Fists of Fire because it disables leech.
I chose to go with 3x CoT and 3x PS despite the next hit delay because this version is safer to play as it freezes almost every monster on the screen that isn't cold immune.
The overall strategy is pretty simple: Go to River of Flame, charge up, and teleport to Chaos Sanctuary using either Dragon Flight or the teleport staff. Once you're in CS, focus the bosses because they do not get frozen and do hurt on P8. Otherwise focus Oblivion Knights as they usually are the slowest to die from AOE damage alone.
Also if you noticed, I forgot to spend 11 skill points. These should have gone straight into Fade for an additional 11 all res and 11% DR. In general you want to stack a lot of resistances because of conviction aura bosses and the lower res curse.
The mercenary is an act 2 desert warrior with Blessed Aim aura for better chance to hit. You don't need a mercenary to clear CS at all but it does speed things up a little.

Assa:
2x Mosaic = Mal Gul each
2x Mosaic Base = Free? I am using random +1 Phoenix Strike Claws. I think people throw these away.
2x 4/4 Facets = Ist each
Shako = Vex (with early ladder prices)
30 Viper = Um
Maras 20 = Ist
Myrmidon Greaves 30 FRW and res = Ohm? Swap with upped Gores if on a budged.
Ring with FCR low res and attack rating = Ohm? Swap with crappier one if on a budged.
Random Verdungo's = Pul
Mid Raven = Ist
+3 Martial Arts Gloves = Couple of minutes shopping
8x Plain Martial Arts skiller = Mal each
Mid Torch = Ohm (with early ladder prices)
Mid Anni = Ist
Random life charms to fill out the inventory = Mal total?
Naj's Puzzler or teleport staff = Pul
Merc:
Obedience in eth Thresher = Pul
Crown of Thieves with high LL = Pul
Treachery in high def base = Um

3x Ohm, 1x Vex, 2x Gul, 5x Ist, 11x Mal, 2 Um, 4 Pul

This really puts into perspective how different ladder plays out.
On ladder with trading sides this would be mid gear.
On single player self found getting those skillers would take thousands of
hours of farming.
farming for every item? no. he had some plain skillers. if you get them at the right ilvl range you can roll them in cube to speed things up. plus those skillers aren't necessary for mosaic to be op
@@darkhorsedre it would still take 1000 hours to get those skillers. It took me months to get a full inventory of skillers of the same type on my holy grail even with rerolling baal GCs.

Hello. When killing bosses like Diablo, it makes sense to charge up Fists of Fire, Claws of Thunder and Blades of Ice to get the maximum damage. I do not use Fists of Fire when clearing areas because it will disable life and mana leech. As for Dragon Flight, it will teleport you to a mob and attack with a single kick. Hope that answers your questions.

@@depecheaxx99 Crack of the heavens would be a great item for this build. But since there are not a lot of lightning immunes in CS, I haven't put it on. So depending on the area you are farming, it totally makes sense to use it.
5 min P8 chaos run without enigma, infinity, griffon... and some streamer says it's not op (dbrunsky) or you need completely infinity (macrobio boi)...
I really didn't enjoy the play style of the sin I did like the versatility with Ubers and farming. Went back to trap I just find it more fun
Can't blame ya. I only played the Mosaic sin for testing purposes and it got boring real quick.
If merc is using Obedience and Fists of Fire is not leeching, how do you keep up with the mana?
Just don't use Fists of Fire. It's not needed because you can clear everything with light, cold, and physical damage.

@@dhong168 I use Cobra Strike which gives me a huge amount of life and mana leech.
@@hbgl8889 oh that's right. If you just use CS without fist of fire then physical dam doesn't get converted to fire. Missed that!

How do you even do a chaos run without pressing alt one time to see drops, this gave me severe anxiety
It is single player and the whole gear was created using an editor. Hope that alleviates your anxiety :)

I don't have a real guide but I can give you some advice: Start with fire traps until A4 NM, then switch to lightning, and finally once you have 2x Mosaic ready, respect into martial arts.

@@hbgl8889 lol for real? so the torch is not perf, but a high one, and the anni is high one, having all skillers, lmao, the life skillers and perf anni+torch is luxury that needed only for pvp, 16/16 is above average torch and anni which is enough for endgame, so truely missing infinity, forti, cta, much average much wow
@@smertonosez The whole kit costs around a single Ber rune more or less. If you are a very casual or ssf player I can understand your view point. But anyone who plays 1 - 2 hours a day will have farmed enough to afford this gear after a couple of weeks.
im multiboxing a sorc, bo barb and a sin this season on hc, this is definitely obtainable and you can trade for the clean skillers. Just need a dclone walk on hc 🤣, good vid man.
like shako, vipermagi, clean skillers, torch would be considered mid game not end game, unless you play like 30min a week then i guess that would be gg endgame for you

idk why people even waste money on CTA, it's really not that great.
It let's you spam teleport more often and survive more situations. Basically it give you the comfort of not having to try as hard. For this build in particular, though, CTA is not necessary at all.
CTA gives you +1 to all skills dont forgeth. And in ubers u need the extra life and mana for sorc
Mid gear nova sorc is much quicker. Really just need infinity scythe to melt anything . I let 7 ppl mf in my chaos games and they mad cuz i clear fast
I like comparing apples to apples, though. If you put an Infinity on this sin's merc then she'll also clear much faster. But I consider Infinity to be endgame gear not midgame. That being said, the Nova sorc is one of the few builds that can keep up with Mosaic.
He is talking multiplayer without a merc. There is no p8 on ladder.
Nova sorc is better, always on, no charges, and cant die even with zero resistances lol
@@acea5683 On P1 the nova sorc is faster than mosaic for sure. But even in multiplayer you want to join full baal runs to farm items and xp.
"mid gear" is a laughable title.
People are already running around with Infinity and the ladder isn't even a month old. How is it laughable?
