MW2 SBMM is so predicably aggressive that when I did well in a lobby, I already knew my next lobby would be like a living hell with max level COD veteran sweats destroying me LOL.
The TTK is ridiculously low with meta weapons and this is further more bolstered by how much this game is ping dependent. 40ms vs 80ms has a huge difference due to the low ttk. When I played the beta I always had 80ms+ ping. I played against mostly 40 or 10+ ping players. Could never win a straight fight unless I started preshooting. In the killcam when they 1st see me I was just standing before I started shooting but in my screen I always shot 1st. Disgusting netcode ruined further by the less ttk.
The ttk is way, way slower than cod 4, mw2, bo1 and mw 🤡. In those games the weapons fired at the same rate but took 1 to 2 less shots to kill. And the meta is also more balanced than the older cod titles and mw/vanguard. Besides, a balanced meta is boring. Mw2's one of the most remembered mp stuff were the pre patch model 1887s. For example: mw2 2009's ak is 704 rpm 2 shot kill while mw2019 and mwii's ak are 560 and 600 rpm 3 shot kill respectively.

The M14 is also inconsistent with double taps in my experience. Almost seems like the gun is able to shoot where it isn't pointing, like battlefield's suppression mechanic was in some games. Meanwhile people are peeking into me shooting them (and getting hits) and taking me out in one hit with their bolt action using irons. The fact they're getting hit doesn't seem to bother them. The best videos I've seen are people running around in an aggressive assault style using snipers with irons. This isn't a WWII shooter. 2042 isn't fantastic, but it is more fun than MWII. SBMM is usually forces a 50/50 win rate. That means an algorithm literally distributes you wins and loses. The outcome of games is predetermined and you can usually tell which way within the first minute. FFA is an exclusion to the 50/50 for obvious reasons, but its also obviously very strict about the skill level of players you're matched up against. I just don't even bother trying, I just run around with off meta loadouts like pistol only and don't even care when I go negative.

Man BC2 and BF3 was the peak of FPS gaming for me personally. I still remember this one game we had on Rush in BC2 and we pushed back so hard while defending that we were in the woods killing people as they parachuted down. We weren't demolishing the other team but steadily pushed them back and they fought back hard too. I remember I was playing Medic with an M249 and reviving guys left and right. That was the most fun I had while gaming. At that moment I felt that this was what Battlefield was all about.

Incorrect. Camping doesn't work, it's coded out. If you camp, you have no hit detection, and your bullets do no damage. It's only if you run around that you can kill someone. The more you run, the more damage your weapon does, the more damage you can take. If you camp, your weapon doesn't work, does no damage, and you can be killed by just a few rounds while you pump 6 into the enemy with 0 effect. You obviously haven't played the fucking game.
Completely agree with something being wrong with the game I played the beta and honestly felt like every gun fight I should have clearly won as I put 4-5 rounds into someone before they even started shooting me I lost I don't know whether it's hitreg issues or just terrible gun balancing
Guns have multipliers depending on where you hit in the body. If you shoot the stomach and the enemy shoots the upper torso, the enemy wins most of the time, which you can also see in this video when Tbag complains and watches the killcam.
I know this isn’t related, and I’m not sure if you mentioned it, but in BF1, you can hear your character breathe faster while sprinting with the gas mask on, and slow down when you stop.
Oh yeah I mean I don't think other Triple A game company will get as fuckin CLOSE to BF1s atmosphere in a long LONG time. It's one of my favorite Battlefields as you just want to experience and emerse yourself into it again!
SBMM is cancer yeah, I also was getting REALLY frustrated that most of the time I see the enemy for 1 millisec and I am dead The TTK is super inconsistent, I see on killcams they kill me with 2-3 bullets from the same weapon, yet I need the whole mag just to kill them then after about 3 losses, I just dominate the 4th match out of nowhere, and I know that I am not that good, I knew something fishy was going on
Battlefield 2042 is certainly one of the games ever made. The guns are shooting and the maps are there. The characters are in it and the dialogue is spoken. The developers are absolutely developers and the coding is probably one the the game codings ever written. It's certainly a video game that exists. I'll rate it a /10.
first time i booted up bf1 in a long time was after playing mw2 multiplayer. in an effort to make the game more "casual friendly", they sapped the fun out of it for any dedicated fps players. i had just got past halfway to unlocking platinum on the ARs when i realized i wasnt having any fun.
It's not SBMM. It's manipulation of the game parameters on the fly. The game is coded so that the hitboxes are smaller or larger, the aim assist is variable, the health and bullet damage are variable, depending on how well you're doing in a given game and your overall K/D. That's why I don't play CoD anymore.
Im right along side you, last night i was playing MW2 and got bored, so i loaded up BF4, and realized how much more fun i was having when playing BF4 compared to MW2
On the consoles most people that play fps games use those mouse and keyboard conversion devices, I noticed it in killcams a lot when I had a shot of someone's ps5 not long ago, I can tell the difference between someone with a controller and someone with a mouse.
"most peapole" that play fps games use mouse / keyboard. I have the same experience with MW2. There’s a good video from jackfrags about how MW2 is different in play style from MW2019. More pausing and ADSing and less sprinting about is what he says (kind of) and it really seems to make a difference.

Yes! Hit markers for DAYS and instead of making you jump across all the weapons to level up when sweats have gold on day 2, all attachments should be unlocked from the start, just camo to unlock but add some more difficulty to the task for each one.
In COD killcams are sped up by 20-25% I believe. Being ready to ADS when looking somewhere that is likely to have enemies is crucial with such a short TTK
Did this and sometimes still get bs'd but a lot less than i would be before. The thing with the control sensitivity is weird. I play with it maxed and most of the time I feel like I'm turning through molasses. Then people will be playing with 8 sensitivity and they snap around the screen like they unlocked some magical setting I don't know about lol
While is true that sbmm can be brutal at times, it seems like you aren’t trying to learn the game ( for example: sprinting around line of sights and doorways without checking and aiming). In this game you have to take it a bit slower and learn the flow of the maps, pre aim doorways so you already have your gun up in case someone’s there. No hate btw, just some tips on how to get started.
My personal recommendation is to try something new and not competitive. I find that taking breaks and playing something like Deep Rock Galactic really resets myself and I can come back to these games and actually have fun.
TBAG, I’m in total solidarity with you man. I didn’t even buy MWII (or Vanguard), but I see the path FPS games are going down. With SBMM they just aren’t casual or fun anymore, and none of these Reddit bots can give any valid argument in favor of it, only the classic bullshit “yOu jUsT wAnT to pUb sTomp!!”. It’s literally impossible to just sit and chill with a game like that now, and that’s why I really only play SP stuff like Hitman 3 now.
Meanwhile I'm over here killing people with a lightsaber (currently starwars week) in Fortnite and having a good time cause squads don't have skill based match making :D
Battlefield. Pick a gun, can you shoot strait...good you have a chance of living for 30 seconds. CoD: You need to pick the RPK with these attachments, run these perks, change your settings to a,b,c,d&e to abuse movement...congrats you'll be able to live for 12 seconds facing off someone else of higher skill level or that's turtled up in a corner to shoot you in the back.
For a moment there when you played 2042 I felt like Battlefield was what it used to be when it was the best. I snapped back to reality but still it's a powerful feeling.
Those kill streak endings, and deaths you get that you are like, "there is no way _____" this isnt something that is new, I had been facing that in COD back way before there was ever a such thing as a publicly known SBMM. I got to a point where, if I got a new COD, I would know within the first day, whether or not I was on the "track" of consistent high streaks. If I started up my first game, and couldnt get more than a 3 kill streak, I pretty much know that I am not going to be a high streak getter on a consistent basis. Meanwhile, I would look at these RUclipsrs: Swag, Korean Savage, Dysmo, These Knives Only, etc..., serving up nuke, after nuke, after nuke; so here's what I think. I had a theory a long time ago, that the true, SBMM, isn't real players at all, they are either Activision studios has some inhouse tech that is so advanced, that it can guage skill levels of players, and if it is deemed that you are "too good" you will be permanently marked, what they will do to you wont be 'every' game, but it wont let you consistently dominate like your natural skill would allow you to against most of the players online. What I think they have is, inhouse gamers that have legal aimbot accounts, greenlighted by Activision to be able to use these hacks to only go after those good players in every match. Either that, or they put the top of top end bots in there to hunt you down, same result. I cant count the amount of times that I ran into so many moments where I saw a person aiming at me before I got to a location, there was no UAV, Blackbeard, I had on Ghost, and was using a silencer, get my streak clipped by a bum, lifeless, seemingly bot-like profile, that was just hiding behind a desk or something pre-aim, then shoot me. I wont even get into the occasions of getting outgunned by someone that definitely couldnt have seen me first, eats all of my bullets, turns around; then kills me somehow. I love COD, but this bogus punishing the actual good players needs to end.
Just remember even if you're miserable playing a game, and think you're not good enough. Just remember that you have all of us here watching and supporting you :)
Tbag I recommend if your having a stressful time playing multiplayer games play single play story driven games like the uncharted series or god of war and of course this is a recommendation
I bought MW2 just for preleveling my guns for Warzone 2 but I actually like the multiplayer aswell. Not that bad. Sometimes you are unlucky ofc but if you pace down a bit and play a bit more tactical you will be much more efficient.
I went through what you felt there when Black ops 1 released. Couldn't figure out if it was my age, reflexes, or stress. However the games it made me run to are far better than COD. Hell Let Loose, Post Scriptum, Beyond the Wire. As long as it's not the Battle of Remagen (HLL) you will have a good time. 😉

I've been having way more fun playing 2042 and world War 3 (free pc game for those that don't know) than I have had with mw2. Even when I do bad on 2042, it still ends up being more enjoyable overall. I hope the player base comes back after all the mw2 rage
Yeah man, that clip where you shoot first and die first is what made me realize that this game is literally just a game of fate. You're destined to do as good as the algorithm decides you need to do that game. If you do really good for 60% of the game, you'll be nerfed mid game for another 10% of the game in order to give the other team some time to catch up. Then you'll realize your spawns are all of a sudden okay again, your damage is normal, and you can do good again. Your overall win/loss ratio will hover around 1.00. We'll notice w/l k/d ratios start to become stagnant due to the algorithm trying to squeeze everyone into a category, effectively leaving a massive dump of shitty players at the bottom to enjoy the luxury of playing casually.
Nah, you dont see these types of things happening to good cod players, you never will see something like that, and this guy isnt bad, he just doesent have the experience in game, at the beggining is exactly like these, but play for 1 week and this never will happen again, myself almost drop the game because of dose things in the first week, and now just dont happen anymore
Damage doesn't change based on any magical metrics like that. Each zone on the body has damage multipliers for the bullets that land there just like any other game. Someone who is hitting all upper torso + heads is going to win fights more than someone hitting lower torso + limbs even if the person hitting lower torso + limbs shoots first.

You just need better internet and gaming chair
The ttk is way, way slower than cod 4, mw2, bo1 and mw 🤡. In those games the weapons fired at the same rate but took 1 to 2 less shots to kill. And the meta is also more balanced than the older cod titles and mw/vanguard. Besides, a balanced meta is boring. Mw2's one of the most remembered mp stuff were the pre patch model 1887s.
For example: mw2 2009's ak is 704 rpm 2 shot kill while mw2019 and mwii's ak are 560 and 600 rpm 3 shot kill respectively.

For a moment there when you played 2042 I felt like Battlefield was what it used to be when it was the best. I snapped back to reality but still it's a powerful feeling.
Nah, 2042 is just better. COD has had the same gameplay cycle for YEARS. Shit gets old!

It's insane that BF is getting better I might get it at this point.
I enjoyed every second of this vid, luv u tbag c:
1:30 😂😂😂💀
He said TOO LOUD😭😭😭
I've been having way more fun playing 2042 and world War 3 (free pc game for those that don't know) than I have had with mw2. Even when I do bad on 2042, it still ends up being more enjoyable overall. I hope the player base comes back after all the mw2 rage
This was the most hilarious tbag video I've seen in a while lmao, not even BF1 could survive lmao
Someone who is hitting all upper torso + heads is going to win fights more than someone hitting lower torso + limbs even if the person hitting lower torso + limbs shoots first.
its called headshots and different guns.
My man, that is legit just a cope.
