Yes I agree no need to reboot it. But I did love watching Coming to America 2. Maybe they can be a side story of where they are now under another main story. Like a passing of the baton
Yes!Leave well enough Alone,There is Not One Movie like For Love Of Basketball 🏀 Thank God!🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿No One like this 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼The best Movie of All time,Just don't remake this I Agree with Omar leave it Along,Around the World 🌎 The Best!Amen,Amen The End!
I love Omar and Keisha TOGETHER!!!! That 90s BLACK LOVE!! The way he spoke about her and his family!! 🙌🙌🙌 such a humble man …. And Keshia was and still is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tamron looks so stunning here! I love her dress and hairstyle! Her whole look is fabulous!! As far as Love & Basketball I totally agree, leave my favorite classic alone. It's perfect! 🖤
Omar Epps is an underrated and immensely talented actor. I can't believe Love and Basketball is 22 years old!! It will forever be a classic. He looks great too. This was a nice interview.
I have loved Omar Epps every since Juice and Love and Basketball. Anything he has been in I have watched he is such a great actor. Yes leave Love and Basketball alone no one else can play those roles.
I met Omar at a premiere for college students and he was very cool and down to earth. I would rather see a sequal to see what their characters are doing now and that would be better than a reboot
Tamron Hall manages to snag the best celebrities of all time and conduct interviews like no one else!!!! She is hands down one of the best tv hosts in the category with some of the Greatest Women ever like Oprah and Ellen!!!! She is phenomenal, classy, and so relatable!!!💕
OMG - If I wasn't in love with this man before, I most certainly am now - what a beautiful soul - and I couldn't be more proud of his example of family, for his beautiful wife (and I'm a huge fan of hers too BTW - she was always my favorite member of Total (my favorite 90s girl group after Envogue) - she's just so beautiful - this segment just really, truly melted my heart - thanks Tamron for giving flowers & platforms to our light-givers!!!
“Walking in a state of gratitude” - man when he said that. That’s what we all are here to do. You go Omar! You’re fulfilling your “greater purpose” and we thank you for sharing your gifts.
Agree "Love and Basketball " sparked my daughter to play basketball, and receive scholarships to private schools at an early age. When in the first grade , She change her name to "Monica" on all of her school work. I found out at Parent-Teacher conference,LOL! So let us keep the classic of Love and Basketball's original stars to continue sparking the hype of basketball and love!
I had such a crush on Omar Epps the first time I saw him in Juice. Loved him in The Wood, Love and Basketball and even more recently in “This is Us.” I say no reboot or follow-up movie to Love and Basketball; some movies are classics and imo don’t need a follow-up or remake. Excellent interview; such a classy and humble guy. Beautiful family.
"You can't replicate a Good meal." Speak. That. Truth. When you create a Masterpiece, there is Never a need to retrace those steps and copy it. You just continue on that same road of success to create something different, that's just as Bigger and Better than the original. When God created Light, he used that Light to create the Universe.
Love and Basketball is a Classic and one of my all time favorite movies. You can feel the emotions of all the actors: the innocence, the pain and the love.
Higher Learning is and was my movie. I watched it with my son a couple of months ago. I thought the message that the movie conveyed was important. When Michael said, it hurts, it hurts. That REALLY always get to me. And the way that Omar's character was grieving the loss of Daja. People don't realize how important it is to let go of hatred and malice and bitterness and unforgiveness of any kind.
THIS! ahhh #emotional perfectly poetic. Tamron did an amazing job and Omar literally reminding us why he is timeless. The noggin on that man! The love for his family that he publicly professes! How beautiful 😍 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Love and basketball was one of the greatest movies to ever come out in my generation along with the best man, the wood and love jones.. these movies are phenomenal
I love when our black brothers are out here doing positive things. Omar is one of them through out his whole career has never been a negative force in our race. 🙏❤️

Omg this guy has turned out to be everything. I love it and to seal it the way he spoke about his wife and children blessed me. Been crushing on him since Juice. He still the man💜
Omar has always been that man, actor good person!! “ Love & Basketball “ one of my favorite movies!! I must have watched it over a dozens times!! My girl Sanaa Lathan played his love interest!! Spike Lee producer!! Just Awesome!! It’s a classic !! Omar has set a great example for our black men as well as people!! He’s a diamond in the ruff!! Congratulations to you & your beautiful family!! Go Omar!!❤️
Omar is the man. For me his favorite of mine was First Time Felon (1997). Criminally underrated movie and performance. Juice and Higher Learning are of course his other favorites of mine.
I really enjoy all of his programs. It would be great to see Omar in more romance films. Love and Basketball should be left alone , time for Our version of Brotherton, or get a black novel and turn it into a great film.
Everything doesn't need a reboot or remake. Let Classics stay Classics. Maybe even really work hard and come up with new ideas. Do people know we really haven't been remaking everything throughout the history of films? Imagine if we were redoing old silent films and talkies. Shit would be so lame now. I still watch them old jonts and appreciate them for what they were. Don't even need technicolor.
Love love, Love and Basketball and can watch it over and over again. Also, what a great move to work with Michael Ealy in the movie, THE DEVIL YOU KNOW!!👏🏽👏🏽💪🏽🤩…both very good actors!☺️
A show or a movie every year since 1992. Omg. Give this man his flowers!!!!
🌹🏀🩺🥼🎶💜
Right?!
💐
Seriously!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Exactly. People need to leave history alone. Love and basketball is legendary. Doesn't need to be rebooted.
