Got teased a lot at open play while demoing a Magnus. I felt people were not happy playing against it. The sound also reminds people what you’re using. I’m waiting until this dies down before buying too.
I'm glad I resisted the temptation, as good as they were, but a non-usable paddle at the tournament wasn't worth the $300. Thanks for recommending the Hudef viva pro gen 3 .it is really great, love its spin, power and control.
It’s called karma. Crbn has to be laughing their ass’s off at this. I’ve been saying joola makes overpriced garbage. A paddle that crumbles that quick is pure crap
USAP need to reveal the testing guidelines and be more transparent as to why the paddle was denied. Joola claims they are the same paddles that passed testing in September. I don’t know who to believe, but I certainly don’t trust USAP. Very suspicious because Joola has zero reason to break protocol - why would they risk it?
So you trust Joola, a for-profit, over USAP a non-profit? Joola has every reason to cheat the process and they have admitted they did - they said they submitted a paddle for testing that was different than what was then brought to market. And it clearly wasn't a simple mistake of someone in the shipping dept sending the wrong paddle for testing otherwise the re-test would have passed. Joola got caught. Simple as that.
You are jumping to conclusions by simply trusting USAPA - they clearly have too much power in the sport. You don’t know what happened, or how the testing works- their press brief was ambiguous (on purpose). You don’t know what special interests are at play - I doubt you’ve even used these paddles or can explain why they should be illegal. Why now? Paddles have been evolving for years. Better ask questions than simply say Joola cheats.
@@ssilveria1 the facts are publicly stated and agreed to by both parties: Joola sent in different paddles for review than what they eventually made available to the public. That is not in dispute - even Joola admits this. What is so difficult to understand about that?
@@LearnAtMyExpense Joola says the paddles are “materially the same” “confident gen3 paddles are compliant” and are now taking legal action against USAP. USAP has delisted, but not specified why. The testing methods appear secret which is what I have a problem with. Everyone is speculating at this point.
Joola is refunding and provides a return shipping label, as long as it was purchased from them or an authorized distributor/dealer.
