Question: On the slide with the Types of Culture Media, under Anaerobic cultures, you state "grow bacteria that are anaerobic from rectum, nasal passages, sputum, urethra/voided urine." Then, the next statement is: "not appropriate to culture for anaerobes in these locations." I'm not sure I understand this. If that is where those organisms grow, is that so you are not growing the normal organisms of those areas or was this a mistake?
