    Just wanna say watching this vid has been somewhat relaxing. I dig the stream in the background and sound quality (no dubbed over music) the video is top notch and the driving skills are good as well. I watched it while I was wrenching on my own stuff waiting for my evo pro to come in. I dig it

    Nice looking rig, don’t think the problem is the stock tires but the stock foams, I used Crawler Innovation 1.0 firm cut in half in mine made a world of difference. Those wheels look good what are they?

    I see on amazon there is a " fms fcx cedar " and a " trx4m " cedar . In guessing that's just which pinion size or style it comes with? Which did you get that worked with the pro ? Tia

    • @HaasesHighlife
      @HaasesHighlife  9 месяцев назад

      You are correct with all of that it’s the trx4m pinion one that works I ordered the same trx4m one you are looking at on Amazon I highly recommend the 6 dollar insurance with it !

    Hi there. Great video, thanks. Is this the brushed or brushless version? Do you think it's worth spending the extra $50 to get the brushless?

    • @HaasesHighlife
      @HaasesHighlife  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks i appreciate you and thank you for watching!! In this video this is the brushed version my latest video on the evo pro has a furitek brushless cedar motor ( better motor than the stock brushless evo pro) I couldn’t get the brushless one when I was ordering mine I personally would get the brushed one and upgrade it to brushless because I enjoy having 2 speed transmission the stock brushless one is a 1 gear transmission that would be the only difference but if that doesn’t matter to you yes it is totally worth the 50 for the brushless one! Hope all that helps

    • @HaasesHighlife
      @HaasesHighlife  10 месяцев назад +2

      You asked the right man my dude lol cuz I been messing with mine quite a bit gonna do a video on the updates tmrw had to make it to the weekend lolol but a break down for ya so far would be all powerhobby brass upgrades for the fx118 fit perfect so I have front and rear portal covers inner and outer I have the brass diff covers brass c hubs brass skid and I've been running it with my brass rims and 72 mm djcrawler pin tires last couple days I personally think I could either take the inner rear covers off for a little more front weight biased it's definitely front heavy but not quite as much as I'd like either that or I might get the Furitek brass portal cover they have a heavier outer I could use to get more weight up front but crawls amazing with the weight I have I've been doing straight up and down lines on my indoor course also I have the rcawd hobbyplus high clearance links I think that was a good upgrade as well added tons more clearance definitely in the rear the way the skid is angled I also raised the rear upper links up one it clocked my axle straight and also allowes you to angle the rear shocks in one witch's allows the rear end to tuck up into the frame better makeing the cg even lower when at full squat also put bands on front shocks seems to help woth the torque twist sum dang thay was a lot! Next I have steering link and servo mount coming rcawd ones and I'm gonna order some over drive and bearings. Hope that helps and keep an eye out for the update and review video I'll be putting out this weekend thanks for watching I appreciate you tons!

    • @HaasesHighlife

      Oh ya and I also shaved the fenders down and sides with a Dremel with an sanding wheel to get it flush with the skid plates on the sides I'll show it in the video lol

      @HaasesHighlife  10 месяцев назад +1

      Brushed crawls super good on par with fcx24 if not slightly better I think at least definitely want a brushless one gonna get a cedar motor for this one soon. You get one ?
