Many people have big pores and when they fill up with oil, sweat, dirt and common everyday bacteria it cause an "infection" to occur. That's all acne really is. It's an infection in the face. Unfortunately there are absolutely no ways to make those pores smaller, reduce oil production or decrease any chance of the bacteria causing an infection other than antibiotics specific for curing acne. bro, skincare doesnt always solve the problem and also makes acne worse pretty often. i have always just washed my face twice a day with water and used the same neutrogena moisturizer for 4 years and had little to no problems. people always tell you to use a cleanser and sunscreen so i decided to get that and the cleanser completely fucked up my skin and then i stopped using it. it was just a few pimples and inflammation at first but my skin is at its worst rn. i have gone through a lot of products and now i am stuck with a gentle cerave hydrating cleanser, ginseng essence and dynasty cream (cause neutrogena changed the old creams formula and people say its bad now) but my skin is absolute shit even tho i have been eating only greens and fruits, oat milk and porridge. stress must be a really big factor (although my life has been stressful for a long time with no problems) and now i am trying to cut out dairy cause nothing seems to keep my acne from getting worse. acne is complex and theres literally no easy fix so be more aware of that when saying something like "just invest a little on skincare".

Expect skin purging at the beginning because tretinoin irritates the skin to force skin turn over, moisturizer makes sure your skin won't get dried, then after a couple of weeks of consistent use, expect huge positive results.

bro, skincare doesnt always solve the problem and also makes acne worse pretty often. i have always just washed my face twice a day with water and used the same neutrogena moisturizer for 4 years and had little to no problems. people always tell you to use a cleanser and sunscreen so i decided to get that and the cleanser completely fucked up my skin and then i stopped using it. it was just a few pimples and inflammation at first but my skin is at its worst rn. i have gone through a lot of products and now i am stuck with a gentle cerave hydrating cleanser, ginseng essence and dynasty cream (cause neutrogena changed the old creams formula and people say its bad now) but my skin is absolute shit even tho i have been eating only greens and fruits, oat milk and porridge. stress must be a really big factor (although my life has been stressful for a long time with no problems) and now i am trying to cut out dairy cause nothing seems to keep my acne from getting worse. acne is complex and theres literally no easy fix so be more aware of that when saying something like "just invest a little on skincare".

@@Peter-mj6lz Most people don't have serious side effects, most people experience dry skin, dry lips, dry eyes, headaches, etc. Those are all worth it for a few months to get rid of acne forever, IMO.
@@Peter-mj6lz Taken in low&slow dose, following the rules religiously and bloodchecking the liver monthly, none. The way derms overdose just to finish the treatment in less time is obscene. 50 yo here, 9 rounds since my 25 and I' m an organ donor😉.
(1)Use mild cleanser, (2)tretinoin .025% (use pea size amt and spread it like dots on your face before gently rubbing it evenly all over face and neck), (3)moisturizer, day and before sleeping, and you're all set. Expect skin purging at the beginning because tretinoin irritates the skin to force skin turn over, moisturizer makes sure your skin won't get dried, then after a couple of weeks of consistent use, expect huge positive results.
