Honestly if you work from home then spending even $5,000 on a very comfortable chair and desk is not crazy. You will get many thousands of hours of use from it.
Sat in this chair at PAX East this year and I want one. Pricey, but definitely high quality. The way the had it setup with a desktop, two monitors, footrest and keyboard table was very comfy and not too claustrophobic to me.
I have this chair. Yes, it's expensive as some folks have noted. It's worth every penny, imo. It's hardwood and made in Canada, I'm not sure what folks are really expecting. I even have the space for a full desk but it's in a room that gets INSANELY hot during the summer. I work at home, and my office is unbearable for four months. So yeah, it's expensive, but being able to use it 8 hours a day, five days a week during the summer was a fucking life saver. He made it seem like it's more difficult to get out with the monitor in front of you. It's not, you can easily slide the ottoman back. I have the mount that comes with the monitor arm on a side table near my wall, so at the end of the day if I wanted to take the monitor off and have things look less like an office, I was able to do that in less than a minute. I've seen some comments here from folks in very small apartments. I can tell you this provides all the utility you would look for in a full desk in a much smaller footprint. Nice, well built kit costs money. For the complainers, no one is stopping you from going to Ikea. For me, this was money well spent.
When I was a kid we had a big chair with huge armrests. My father used to put a big wooden board on it, exactly like on this video. I put mouse and keyboard on that board, and it was one of the best gaming experiences in my life. The video brought some fine memories :)
the core of that chair literally looks like the granpa chair i was using before buying a regular chair after it broke to this day, still the best chair i had
I dig it. Honestly surprised at the cost of this chair. If secretlabs can get away with a nearly 1,000 dollar mass produced "gaming chair", then why not a bespoke $1700 wood chair that from the looks of things is quite literally heirloom quality.

It'd cost less money to make this yourself, including buying all the tools! Proper heirloom quality, real wood furniture costs less, even when made by a woodworker who did furniture for the White House.
@@Sarrienne I don't want to be a woodworker so that is a nonstarter. And I don't know what you are talking about with cheap heirloom quality stuff. @@BeCurieUs Oh, you can certainly find chairs like that which are priced insanely high... several thousand, at least... But any woodworker worthy of the name will not be overcharging like this. None of this machined mass-produced nonsense.
@@Sarrienne I think your prices are old school chase you are not finding a hand made walnut chair with this level of engineering for under $1,000 lol. Link it up if you find one!
these guys at bateman labs have great customer service. I purchased their original desk attachment for the IKEA Poang chair probably 2 years ago or more now. I didn't find it the most comfortable thing for extended periods of time due to the angles of my arms and wrists. By the time I had enough time with the desk attachment to figure that out, they came out with a newer, more updated design and offered to just do an exchange for free. At that time though, I had moved away from using the IKEA Poang as my main 'get work done' chair so I didn't take them up on the offer. You can also go visit their shop in North Vancouver if you are local to sit in and try their products. This chair setup would be an absolute dream for me. That price tag though, woah. I've been making do with sitting on my IKEA Soderhamn sofa with my feet up on the coffee table and using the lap board from the previously mentioned Bateman Labs attachment as a "mousepad" board along with 'misc items and coffee cup surface' just sitting on the sofa to my right. The Soderhamn sofa is nice for this setup because it's low, and has a really wide bottom surface cushion, or like...depth wise. Front-to-back distance of the bottom part of the sofa is a lot, so you can lay back pretty nice and my arms are in a nice neutral position.
That looks like it could last a good 10-15 years + and maybe only need a cushion swap. If that level of comfort can't be achieved by anything cheaper, that I won't have to worry about taking with me when i move, then the price makes sense for those who can afford imo
Honestly this looks amazing for daily work with the monitor. If all you need is a laptop and a screen, this is great! The desktop stuff is probably overkill for this design.
It looks like there's even accessory options for the folks who can't afford their chair (or already have a Swedish flakpak alternative) but could use a desk (with or without laptop riser) for their Swedish flatpak armchair with compatible armrests.
2:00 overpriced and expensive are not the same. 2700$ for a fancy chair might be an adequate price and exactly what it’s worth. But for the average consumer that is not going to make a difference. Because either way, only few people can afford to spend that much on something like this. Looks nice though
Its not "exactly what its worth".. if it was worth 2700 it would cost 10 grand.. do you people not know how retail works? 😂 There is a chain of 100 people who needs to get paid even though they never even touched the chair.. its worth maybe 200.
I got an Ikea Poang several years ago for a reading chair, which is more-or-less the same basic type of chair, and I ended up loving it as a work chair too even though it's pretty terrible for that purpose at my regular desk (keyboard in lap, monitor is too high, monitor is far away and have to zoom the desktop image, etc). This is a really cool take on what I've been trying to figure out for my chair; the only reason I haven't gone this far is because I like to switch between it, a kneeling chair, standing, a regular chair, and a recumbant bike
I was lucky enough to check out this chair at PAX West at the Bateman booth. Pros: 1. It’s super comfortable 2. I can totally see how you’d want to lounge on this while getting your gaming hours in 3. It’s very customizable Cons: There’s a very small demographic of people who would be able to afford this or willingly buy this instead of a conventional setup
It seems super nice to me to put in a studio apartment or small condo that you don't spend 100% of your time at, or rent. This is less intrusive than having a whole desk setup. I just mean the chair with the folding table, not that monstrosity of a monitor stand. It would also be great in hotels.
chairs with ottomans and desk attachments have always existed. the monitor arm and the attachments are the only distinguishing features. and they should be pretty easy to be customized. the desk attachment on chairs like this doesn't tend to be sturdy for a long time and remains to be seen how well it is implemented here. same with the monitor arm's potential to flip the entire ottoman.
I remember when Linus made the couch computer desk that basically locks you in place. They make lifting coffee tables for cheap now that serve the same function and are far more convenient
For woodworking that's actually not bad. Also being able to 3D print accessories with the peg system makes that nice too. Would still have to sit in it personally.
I'm glad you were sitting there since you sat down. Reality is still working. >) This is one of those cases where I definitely would want to try it before buying. That is a huge amount of money for a chair, especially considering the glut of sub $100 chairs that last me 3-5 years before needing to be replaced. Add to that auctions where actual high end chairs are sold due to being undeliverable in my area (like lower end Herman Miller chairs for under $300 after auction) I'm kind of leaning away from this. But honestly it looks great, I applaud their ingenuity for the modular system, and I hope they make a lot of them for people.
Me defending the MSRP of Steelcase chairs, "long term comfort and ergonomics are worth the premium. It'll last you over a decade of heavy use." Me learning how much this is, "FOR A CHAIR?!"
I have a Steelcase chair that was obtained for $20 at an office surplus sale. It's a nice chair except for the fact that the armrests are loose and the chair doesn't stay in the position you set it to particularly well. Mine was made in Grand Rapids, MI in 1998.
Commercial office furniture is a whole different beast, this is elitist home office shit. Commercial office seating specifically is often meant to be sat in for at a minimum 6 hours a day and expected to last 10+ years. My herman miller aeron is warrantied for 12 years, I have never had any pain or stiffness after spending easily 10 hours in it which I can't say for any other chair I've ever used even my mattress gets uncomfortable after 8 hours. I tell people constantly if you sit at a desk for long periods of time buy a commercial office chair it doesn't have to be an ergo expensive chair like an aeron or an embody or leap etc even a barebones old school steel case criterion will last you 20 years and they are surprisingly comfortable. Bonus points if you can find a preowned or refurbishing outlet/store nearby you can get things as good as new for 50% cheaper than new often with a warranty still and the option to physically try out different models.
that thing could possibly last generations, and usually similar craftsmen sell and fit you spare parts you might need even decades later, if necessary. the polstery might need replacing every decade or two (3 maybe even 4) and thanks to the old design you'll always get cheap replacements, if they aren't around anymore for the good stuff, and you'll be able to re3dprint the accessories (or their mounts), but the rest, if cared for, seems to be able to withstand idk a century or more? I've seen old chairs that are perfectly fine, older than the USA. it's an old chair design, but from my experience better than most office chairs i ever used.
Listen i'm all for expensive chairs, but 2700 dollars for a non-leather chair seems crazy, seeing that you can get a Stressless admiral lounger for $2700 WITH an ottoman, and the option for a laptop table that definitely isn't 600 bucks (i can't remember how much it actually was since you have to basically call a furniture store to find anything out). A pretty good deal considering the insanely nice leather options and far heavier duty craftsmanship. Yeah that wood is super nice, but so is a cold rolled steel frame engineered to move with your back as you *recline* (what a concept). This just looks fragile and uncomfortable in comparison. I think i can live without the ottoman monitor attachment (I do own the Stressless btw if it wasn't obvious).
It's more expensive than that Corsair desk setup and I'd still take this over that. Looks comfortable and classy. Good engineering went into it. With a little modeling experience you can make your own. Definitely one of those things I imagine is gonna be a hot item for your guy's christmas party.
that thing is insane! Against all the principles of good ergonomics, I adopted a semi reclining position similar to this with a swank wicker chair I have + a pouf style ottoman. I just put my laptop in my lap and I'm good to go. I have never had any physical discomfort using this setup, unlike the usual aches and pains I'd get from sitting at a desk, no matter how good my chair was. So that chair looks like the holy grail to me, especially with the swing away desktop feature - that is sooo cool! The monitor option is ingenious too. I can do without the other accessories but the basic concept is just fab.
As much as I can't get passed the price of the chair, I actually do understand why they put such a hefty price tag on it. That's some damn good woodwork. It would make for an incredible podcast chair. Incredibly expensive, but love the attention to detail. A microphone mount attachment was a wicked good idea.
I think the product they are offering is unique, seemingly built to mimic mid century modern furniture and I think for some people this will be an easy choice
yep that is pricey, but i asume that the build the stuff on hand or with minimal industrial automation. so the handcraft stuff takes longer....and as far as i can see that from the video. the craftmanship is pretty good here. also the productdesign and exectutionlevel here. i am really considering ordering 2 of these for me and my wifes homeoffice....lets see how much shipping to good ol europe will be
Honestly seems to not be overpriced, jsut expensive. Understandable due to (looks like) quality and probably low production volume. Pretty cool piece of furniture.
I mean it's super expensive but comparing it to a high end chair + desk... and It's actually not terrible and the build quality seems superb. If I didn't already have a desk and chair, I may think of this as a nice option, especially to save space.
Honestly with what some "gaming chairs" go for, and that fit and finish being almost perfect, like Im not going to because I have my grandmother's old dining table as my desk but like thats not terrible considering everything. And its kinda minimalist if you don't want the ottoman and tv arm and everything.
why is it whenever i am planning a certain setup, linus ends up releasing a video for a product that exactly matches what i imagined to be the ideal setup
A very neat design, great for a small studio or something. Of course at that price anyone who rents a small studio outside of like NYC couldn't afford it, but still. Neat design.
This is an expensive chair that is priced very reasonably in the lane it competes in. People used to buying furniture in the Instagram era expect Temu pricing, but it's like buying disposable fashion. This is heirloom tier stuff.
I mounted one of those articulating arms to my sofa's armrest which is swung backwards towards the seat for my laptop. For a desk, I have a single steel shelf that rests over both armrests. My setup is definitely very DIY looking though.
Looking at their site, that POÄNG Lap Desk addition is cool. I'm using a little side table with a swivel arm over a recliner. Doesn't quite sit far enough over so I get a bit sore from the angle.
It's definitely classy, but I doubt it'd be comfortable after about 1 hour with your posture reasoning. I'd like for ShortCircuit to explore a recliner avenue in the future. Other than that, I hope you do win it at the Christmas party, Jake!
that was my thought maybe for a little while reading a book or something or watching some episodes of something but not being able to adjust the back at all like a normal recliner seems like a posture nightmare.
that is some Wyrmwood level woodworking. extremely good looking setup. i can see that being a thousand times better than any "gaming" chair that any big box store sells
That chair is gorgeous. If it wasn't for all the accessory holes I would use it in my living room just as a side chair. But super innovative with all the accessories. I'm impressed!
If you’re willing to pay for the char you could also have a local carpenter build you side covers for the holes. Or metal worker. Get some accented side panel
This thing really seems like a camping chair that never respecc'd into a real class about a year back I picked up some hospital/medical recliners at a thrift store and they turned out to be the most ideal computer chair I've ever used. They are insanely heavy, but wheeled, extremely adjustable, real reclining while upright support so with any deep desk it's the best experience I can imagine - and I'm not one of those crazy gaming chair people, this beats out a nice herman miller aeron even. They are expensive new, but super cheap on marketplaces.
honestly if I had the space for it I would probably get it, but it's far too nice for my current living conditions so I'll have to bookmark that for later and hope it still exists by the time I have a good place for it
Its definitely a niche product but if a want to play in my living room without going into this whole gamer aesthetic and im already down the vitra etc. Pipleline this seems fitting
Really like that it’s wood, and it really looks like it could compete with any of the other gaming/office chairs. How does it compare to the other ones that are made out of metal and plastic? Like the one that looks like a scorpion
Can confirm if you have a Wingback Reclining chair, and one of those tilt tables that can change height, you will never want to go back to sitting in a regular chair.
Thanks. Looks like a quality product at a "quality" price. The only concern is that angle -- it looks like an Adirondack chair angle, which is comfy for the first 10 minutes but you realize later it was doing a number on your back :-)
my old chef's son went into wood furniture crafting, to pay himself a living hourly wage he'd have had to charge about 1k for his first simple fully hardwood table. i've seen that dinner table, beautifully made, but hearing that i understand why he's only doing it as a hobby now.
At least from the video this looks like a solid, decent quality product. However, the lack of adjustability for different heights and (as Linus pointed out) and sitting positions will be a clear problem, I think, after just a week of use for a lot of people.

Thanks Ben!! We love that it’s working out so well for ya ❤
Hell yeah, thanks for the fantastic review!
I own one as well. Love the chair!
When I was a kid we had a big chair with huge armrests. My father used to put a big wooden board on it, exactly like on this video. I put mouse and keyboard on that board, and it was one of the best gaming experiences in my life. The video brought some fine memories :)
I think it's a good chair, Will be a great podcast chair with all the accessories you can get for it.
I love the random Canadian that comes out ever so often with Linus
oh yah
the core of that chair literally looks like the granpa chair i was using before buying a regular chair after it broke
to this day, still the best chair i had
I dig it. Honestly surprised at the cost of this chair. If secretlabs can get away with a nearly 1,000 dollar mass produced "gaming chair", then why not a bespoke $1700 wood chair that from the looks of things is quite literally heirloom quality.
Completely agree. It looks fantastic, the accessories are a fantastic idea and the option to make your own is amazing. I am going to consider this.
it's a rip off to be quite frank, as i said above it's just a horrible 70's retro hell design, prices are astonishingly high and the accessories are also priced very high. good idea, craptastic execution
@@PaxTemplar Comparied to what? Do you have a different maker of actual hardwood chairs that can be customized? If not, this is a very reasonable offering. Expensive, and perhaps unnecessary, but rip of is a bit much don't you think?
@@BeCurieUs ROFL.. nah man. it looks like a craptastic 70 horror show and is massively overpriced. reasonable my aching anus. it's very very overpriced. as i said, good idea , badly executed.
@@PaxTemplar So, others are executing it better? Do you happen to know of a brand cause I am interested. Right now, just regular walnut chairs are like 500 bucks, so not sure where you are finding better deals on something like this, but I am all ears!
The desk-in-one-chair I wished I had in highschool classes
I saw this on one of @Wyrmwood convention videos when they were looking at other exhibitors at one of the gaming conventions. Speaking of which, you guys should totally review Wyrmwood’s desk!
Hello fellow Wyrmling. Also saw this from their PAX vlogs.
Thank you! I was like... that looks familiar... was that on Wyrm Life...?
One of the coolest things i've seen you review, excellent craftsmanship and quality.
As a person who has been looking at heirloom quality, real wood furniture...this is a super reasonable price. Mind you, very expensive, but not for what you are getting. Putting on my "if I don't need my bonus check" list :D
Chairs like featured here, using American Walnut START at 500 bucks. That is for a single dinning room chair, not even upholstered. Not sure what kinda deals you have in your area, but in my neck of the woods, high quality, heirloom chairs and hundreds of dollars just for BOM costs.
@@BeCurieUs Oh, you can certainly find chairs like that which are priced insanely high... several thousand, at least... But any woodworker worthy of the name will not be overcharging like this. Round here you'll find plenty of old-school craftsmen who will make a chair like this, in American Walnut, for about £700... and by Old School, I mean they've been professional hand tool woodworkers since the 1960s. None of this machined mass-produced nonsense.
@@Sarrienne "It'd cost less money to make this yourself, including buying all the tools!"
Yea, discounting your own damn labor😂
@@Sarrienne I think your prices are old school chase you are not finding a hand made walnut chair with this level of engineering for under $1,000 lol. Link it up if you find one!
I was looking for years for a contraption like this to mount a monitor and have it semi mobile indoors. thanks lmg!
This is now on my Christmas list , although I don't know anyone with that kind of money , But I still want one .
these guys at bateman labs have great customer service.
7:58 “having been sitting here since I sat down”
Thanks for clearing that up lol
I like that chair and I think it's perfect for people who don't have a proper office or just want a less ugly productivity chair
That looks like it could last a good 10-15 years + and maybe only need a cushion swap. If that level of comfort can't be achieved by anything cheaper, that I won't have to worry about taking with me when i move, then the price makes sense for those who can afford imo
5:44 Linus sitting at his high chair waiting for the tech tips to be delivered.
You can say IKEA, it's okay
2:00 overpriced and expensive are not the same. 2700$ for a fancy chair might be an adequate price and exactly what it’s worth. But for the average consumer that is not going to make a difference. Because either way, only few people can afford to spend that much on something like this. Looks nice though
Bit ironic? if you will
since Linus does like to harp on about the difference between "bad value" and "Scam"
Its not "exactly what its worth".. if it was worth 2700 it would cost 10 grand.. do you people not know how retail works? 😂 There is a chain of 100 people who needs to get paid even though they never even touched the chair.. its worth maybe 200.
Beautiful chair system. If I was rich, I would totally buy that. It's gorgeous AND comfortable.
Bateman Labs also sells a POÄNG Lap Desk converter
I was lucky enough to check out this chair at PAX West at the Bateman booth.
Pros:
1. It’s super comfortable
2. I can totally see how you’d want to lounge on this while getting your gaming hours in
3. It’s very customizable
Cons:
There’s a very small demographic of people who would be able to afford this or willingly buy this instead of a conventional setup
Honestly that seems like a well thought out product, worth the price if thats what you want.
I remember when Linus made the couch computer desk that basically locks you in place. They make lifting coffee tables for cheap now that serve the same function and are far more convenient
It actually looks sick. If I had the cash I'd be buying one.
A couple of those would make the most adorable couples setup.
I can actually see myself ditching my desk and getting one of these...
For woodworking that's actually not bad. Also being able to 3D print accessories with the peg system makes that nice too. Would still have to sit in it personally.
Instead of gaming, I would kind of really like this as a chair in the corner of an office so I can work in different places
if I had the money, I would consider this. pretty sweet
I'm glad you were sitting there since you sat down. Reality is still working. >)
This is one of those cases where I definitely would want to try it before buying.
The video is 8 minutes but I still want to see more of the chair 😂😂
Me defending the MSRP of Steelcase chairs, "long term comfort and ergonomics are worth the premium. It'll last you over a decade of heavy use."
Me learning how much this is, "FOR A CHAIR?!"
Bonus points if you can find a preowned or refurbishing outlet/store nearby you can get things as good as new for 50% cheaper than new often with a warranty still and the option to physically try out different models.
hand crafted wood furniture costs a mint. Remember that the next time you see a 40 year old rocking chair selling for $12 at a garage sale
@ilovefunnyamv2nd
to be fair, selling it for 12 bucks is still better than having to throw it away.
that thing could possibly last generations,
and usually similar craftsmen sell and fit you spare parts you might need even decades later, if necessary. the polstery might need replacing every decade or two (3 maybe even 4) and thanks to the old design you'll always get cheap replacements, if they aren't around anymore for the good stuff, and you'll be able to re3dprint the accessories (or their mounts), but the rest, if cared for, seems to be able to withstand idk a century or more? I've seen old chairs that are perfectly fine, older than the USA.
it's an old chair design, but from my experience better than most office chairs i ever used.
It reminds me of one of the Sims 3 furniture sets - the 1950s one with the same colour upholstery.
'Monkeypod life' as Tom Wolfe once put it.
That looks like the perfect setup for me 👀
that thing is insane!
Oh that would be so nice for home office alternative.
As much as I can't get passed the price of the chair, I actually do understand why they put such a hefty price tag on it. That's some damn good woodwork.
It would make for an incredible podcast chair. Incredibly expensive, but love the attention to detail. A microphone mount attachment was a wicked good idea.
they sell a poang lap desk attachment too!
That's actually pretty slick. Would ALSO be good for like, simpits and the like. Just need adapters for joysticks!
I got this chair and I love it. If you have any questions let me know.
Damn this shit is gonna go hard at the retirement homes lan parties
dude that's hella nice. I'd buy one if I had that kind of money for sure.
A very neat design, great for a small studio or something.
Of course at that price anyone who rents a small studio outside of like NYC couldn't afford it, but still. Neat design.
This could be a pretty cool solution for smaller offices that won't allow a couple full sized desks.
this setup looks so cool
This is an expensive chair that is priced very reasonably in the lane it competes in. People used to buying furniture in the Instagram era expect Temu pricing, but it's like buying disposable fashion. This is heirloom tier stuff.
I mounted one of those articulating arms to my sofa's armrest which is swung backwards towards the seat for my laptop. For a desk, I have a single steel shelf that rests over both armrests. My setup is definitely very DIY looking though.
I love these guys! Based out of North Van!
❤ NV!
Looking at their site, that POÄNG Lap Desk addition is cool. I'm using a little side table with a swivel arm over a recliner. Doesn't quite sit far enough over so I get a bit sore from the angle.
i feel like (with the accessories) its just the home-aesthetic version of the scorpion chair
It's definitely classy, but I doubt it'd be comfortable after about 1 hour with your posture reasoning.
I'd like for ShortCircuit to explore a recliner avenue in the future.
Other than that, I hope you do win it at the Christmas party, Jake!
that was my thought maybe for a little while reading a book or something or watching some episodes of something but not being able to adjust the back at all like a normal recliner seems like a posture nightmare.
that is some Wyrmwood level woodworking. extremely good looking setup. i can see that being a thousand times better than any "gaming" chair that any big box store sells
nah, a secretlabs chair is more comfortable than this thing 100% and less than half the price.
That chair is gorgeous. If it wasn't for all the accessory holes I would use it in my living room just as a side chair. But super innovative with all the accessories. I'm impressed!
bro it's literally a basic armchair with some holes in it.
If you’re willing to pay for the char you could also have a local carpenter build you side covers for the holes. Or metal worker. Get some accented side panel
that chair is sick gotta get it
Bateman labs watching Linus with that box cutter.... ooft.
Impressive. Very nice.
This thing really seems like a camping chair that never respecc'd into a real class
about a year back I picked up some hospital/medical recliners at a thrift store and they turned out to be the most ideal computer chair I've ever used.
Ill never have the kind of money needed for this but dang if I don't love some hand crafted wooden furniture.
honestly if I had the space for it I would probably get it, but it's far too nice for my current living conditions so I'll have to bookmark that for later and hope it still exists by the time I have a good place for it
Its definitely a niche product but if a want to play in my living room without going into this whole gamer aesthetic and im already down the vitra etc. Pipleline this seems fitting
Really like that it’s wood, and it really looks like it could compete with any of the other gaming/office chairs.
How does it compare to the other ones that are made out of metal and plastic?
Like the one that looks like a scorpion
0:07 The Canadian really shines through here!😆
Can confirm if you have a Wingback Reclining chair, and one of those tilt tables that can change height, you will never want to go back to sitting in a regular chair.
Finally, a modular chair. Maybe not what I imagined, but a very cool step in the right direction. Now, if only I weren't absolute broke...
I saw this chair at Pax East this year, and it's nice but I think it's a bit expensive as is.
I used to put a finished piece of wood across the arms in a recliner, which cost like $12 and could recline.
for someone with a small apartment this will be a better option then most others if you're willing to pay for it.
"Having been sitting there since I sat down." Linus 2024
Thanks. Looks like a quality product at a "quality" price. The only concern is that angle -- it looks like an Adirondack chair angle, which is comfy for the first 10 minutes but you realize later it was doing a number on your back :-)
New WAN setup
my old chef's son went into wood furniture crafting, to pay himself a living hourly wage he'd have had to charge about 1k for his first simple fully hardwood table. i've seen that dinner table, beautifully made, but hearing that i understand why he's only doing it as a hobby now.
Awesome! It's like something the DIY Perks guy would build. Too bad it's so damn expensive
You guys GOTTA check out Wyrmwood's modular desk!
This is Awesome ! want
replacing my sim racing setup with this
At least from the video this looks like a solid, decent quality product. However, the lack of adjustability for different heights and (as Linus pointed out) and sitting positions will be a clear problem, I think, after just a week of use for a lot of people.
