- Welcome to the video tutorial for the Ever After Earganizer! This is a wall hanging mouse ear holder that I designed to be the complimentary pattern to my Ever After Ears Pattern. Now you have a place to put all of those mouse ears you've been collecting! This makes a great gift for that Disney Nerd in your life, as well as is a great add on for those that make mouse ears to sell! Lets get into some specifics you'll need to have in completing this pattern :)
This is an EASY to INTERMEDIATE level pattern. There will be seam work, and light sewing, as well as techniques like crocheting continuously in the round, working into the back bumps, and using the 3rd loops of half double crochet stitches.
This video tutorial shows you how to work up the 3-tabbed version of this pattern. For information on how to make the longer version of this pattern please see the "alteration notes" below!

ALTERNATION NOTES: If you are created a 4 + longer tabbed earganizer, you will be needing 15 yds of the MC yarn, and 7 yds of the CC yarn EXTRA for EACH tab! For Example, if you are working up a 4 tabbed Earganizer, you will need a total of 100 yds for the MC yarn, and 33 yds for the CC color yarn.
I wouldn't recommend making an earganizer that has more than 7 tabs! The weight of the ears does stretch this piece out over time, and it will warp your piece.
I also wouldn't recommend using any other fiber base for this yarn outside of Cotton yarn! The strength of the fibers of cotton yarn will keep the piece from stretching too much. Acrylic blends and wool blends are simply too soft and will not work.
HAVE A CREATIVE DAY, ADDING MAGIC TO YOUR STITCHES IN YOUR OWN WAY!!
Can’t wait to make this for all my ears!
Yay!!! I can’t wait to see it!
