      I wasn't sure I was going to keep that configuration so the wiring isn't very neat.
      That's my 4th box I built, figured I was going to make changes anyway.
      Since the video I changed it. Parts list can be found in the "Show More" link.
      Thank you

    How do the buttons and antenna mount while keeping it waterproof?

    • @EddieVfgi
      @EddieVfgi  7 лет назад

      I don't operate the makita go box in the rain and the ammo can go box is water resistant.

      Edward Vignati my question is how you got the ammo can to be waterproof once you drilled an antenna hole and holes for the light switches etc. the metal box seal has been compromised. how did you "waterproof" it after poking holes in it?

    • @EddieVfgi
      @EddieVfgi  7 лет назад +1

      It's not water proof, it is water resistant. Where the antenna mount (SO239) use a garden hose washer.

    How do you charge the battery?

    • @EddieVfgi
      @EddieVfgi  7 лет назад

      Go to this site, Bioenno, pictured is the battery that has two wires coming out, the power pole is battery power out and the pigtail connector is what the charger plugs into, no need to remove the battery..
      Bioenno batteries are the best, when transmitting they stay between 12.8 and 13.2 volts when transmitting. If you buy the battery buy the charger made for it, the batteries seem to never die.
      I also built an ammo can go box, I installed a jack on the outside of the box so no need to remove the battery. I also built this one for a friend, it's a short video and will give you some ideas.

      ALWAYS look at my comments, where it is written "Show More" I always display links where I get the parts from so you don't have to hunt for them.

      If you use an Epic Pwrgate by West Mountain Radio you can ignore the pigtail and charge the battery through the power pole connector. You won't need the Bioenno charger but I bought one just in case I need it.
