Anberlin is like a Christian version of Coldplay because of the some similarity of their way of singing and the songs as well. They're one of my inspirations to pursue singing.
hey that 12-string is an alveraz, those are such nice guitars, my dad has one and its really awesome, i personally dont like the neck much on that specific one as it hurts the muscles in my left hand somehow but it still plays and sounds great, and the body is amazing, but most companies make different neck shapes so its not a big deal, point is they are AWESOME guitars
It was written mostly about the 29 year old sister of one of the guitarists that passed from cancer, but in the writing of Paperthin Hymns the lead singer also pulled from the experience of losing his grandmother.

However, they are both actually alternative rock bands so infact, they are not in a completely different genre but actually influenced by smaller sub genres. Also, since when did I say they were boring because they didn't use distorted guitars?
