"Marianito" is a popular name for a glass of vermouth (with a lot of ice, a slice of orange and am olive in a toothpick) which is usually taken as an aperitif before lunch, especially in summer.

"The drink has lots of different alcohols, but its noon." I love it when you said that. Great!!

Hi . What Camino Norte guide book are you using? Have you found the route well marked with yello arrows? Keep up the good work. Bon courage.

I’m using both the Wise Pilgrim map on my phone along with the small guide book by Matthew Harms. Some sections are very well marked while others are not. Highly recommend a GPS map, like the one from Wise Pilgrim.

Thanks for the info on the App and also the guide book. The guide book I am reading for Camino Norte is The Northern Camino by Laura Perrazzoli and Dave Whitsundays.

How physically trained were you for this camino?

I walked around 4 miles a day. Sometimes with my pack. I also did cardio training on my Peloton bike, yoga, and some strength training. The main thing is to break in your shoes and make sure you have merino wool socks to keep your feet dry.
