Oddly enough that 1st gen prius is worth quite a bit. Followed by the mercedes wagon and the gmc truck.

The Tektronix oscilloscopes, plugins, digital multimeters and the Simpson VOM especially are collectively worth thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars. The late owner was probably an electronics technician or engineer. I would gladly buy as much as I could afford of the electronics and some of the reference books you showed us

if you've cleaned up a home of a recently deceased for an estate sale or gone to one, you know all of this material wealth accumulation is meaningless. people with collections going up in worth of half a million. you're just holding it for the guy who's going to buy it at an auction after you're dead. and same for the buyer.

@cagneybillingsley2165 True you can't take it with you

From what I heard from the neighbors is one of them died and the other went to a senior home and tweekers started trashing the place going thru everything.

I don't see how anyone could live there, maybe it was used for a hoarder's storage then well ransacked.
The ocilloscopes are used for electronics alignments in electronic repair.
    What a mess.
Thanks for one of the most unique explores I've ever seen.

OMG what a dump!!! I can't imagine how anybody could accumulate so much junk and live like that. It may have otherwise been a decent home.

Good news is it won't stay that way forever. To coin a new phrase, "Behind every mess up is a clean up."
