- Led Zeppelin 1975.05.25 London, UK - Earl's Court.
The opening songs from the last night of the Earl's Court run in 1975. The Video is an AVI rip of the EVSD release, the audio is remastered from the EVSD release "When We Were Kings".
Audio is not quite in sync with the video throughout, I didn't feel like spending to much time on it, it was more about hearing the music. Видеоклипы
Still the all time greatest rock band Was fortunate to see them 72,75, 77
very cool....what city or cities?
The kings of attitude! Bonzo inside the groove with JPJ and listening out for all the improvised melodies by Jimmy, Robert with raw primal edge...Tight but loose!
Just finished watching twenty minutes of Deep Purple live in NYC circa 1973 and now to Zep live . What could be better than that besides having some of their groupies here with me ?
Jimmy is playing like he has something to prove. And he proves he's one of the greatest.
That having been said, the rythm section is the star of this track. Wish the camra man wold have given us a shot of JPJ
God I wish they'd release a DVD of the Earls Court shows - they were utterly brilliant. Especially In My Time of Dying.
yeah, i want an official earls court dvd, there is an empress valley supreme disc earls court dvd but i want an led zeppelin official one because of video and audio remaster
@@lucasnn2008 They should make it as an album. Like TSRTS and HTWWW.
@@30mokhsittisomwong58 yep, like TSRTS that has both the CD album and the DVD of the show
Vocile dysfunction ! Happens to the best of us from time to time !
Astonishing, but what isn´t when it´s LED ZEPPELIN? They had this gift, anything they ever touched , turned immediately into gold..... I can´t ever say anything else, I JUST LOVE THEM....And I have been doing so for about 48 years, OMG, I think I´m getting old
We drove overnight to Earls Court and queued for tickets - it was the best way to secure them, although we got more from a second source (a record shop) on the day. 24th and 25th May: two of the best nights of my life.
The first song to one of Led Zeppelin's greatest shows ever.
I love Robert Plant's monologue at the end here.
fantastic Page
unico!!! magia pura!!!
@@karocca1 verissimo
Guitar god.
Led zeppelin á maior e melhor banda de rock pauleira do mundo inteiro pura magia 🇧🇷👍🤘👏👏👏👏
Damn I love Sick Again! Wish I saw Zeppelin in their prime! Too frigging young!
Pleased to say that I was at their last night at Earls Court. Row 4. Incredible. They started with this and just steamrollered us and then picked us up for a Magic Carpet Ride that lasted 4 hours. Marvellous.
I was just a few rows behind you. I was also there the night before. :-)
Lucky you! :-)
Yep. Ticket was 2 pounds
Cool beyond belief ! Have a framed photo from one of the shows at Earl's Court in 1975 , greeting you as you enter my living room .
No doubt I'm jealous. Must have been amazing.
plants voice is wasted but I can't stop listening
Yeah he’s pretty sung out, disappointed by his performances during EC shows, every show he’s spotty, bonzo too. But page was playing lights out for these shows, listen to the 18th and 23rd esp, better shows all around and page is incredible
All others do not even come close to this! This Is ROCK AND ROLL!
So Raw, so wreckless, so wonderful!!! Spell check is telling me I misspelled wreckless. Oh well. Fuck it!
Simply, the BEST 😊
"There's always the 1980s"
Oh, how he doesn't know. :(
band did everything like every good selection of music best band of all time :)
This is truly one of their better concerts during this era.
The only that's poor is the Roberts voice, but granting his condition at the time its understandable.
What condition is that?
Led Zeppelin at their best.
Led Zeppelin infernal 🇧🇷👹🔥🤘
Killer track and jimmy is the man!
Thank you for posting this material. It is the best I have experienced it since the night I first witnessed it.
The best night of my life; the second best was being there the night before.
Wonderful.
It's amazing how Robert can sound like a black man and look like a white woman.
you probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can stream all of the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother during the lockdown xD
@Allen Francis yup, I have been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself :)
Great comment. Made me laugh out loud and I'm by myself, lol.
Are you daft?
I discovered Led Zeppelin when they were already very famous, a little bit too late for me but this song and video I' m discovering now.Wonderful song and group and words' close by Robert always great.
I wish I was there, Zeppelin is one of the greatest.
Sick Again is great live!!!!
there's just so much raw fucking energy here
I was there in a £1 seat. I was also there three days earlier in a £1.50 seat and a much better view and sound. Giant video screen. Unusual at the time. That was a good gig the second night.
Absolutely outstanding!
Sick again is awesome song!
Just Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks.. Fantastic........
I know, right! It's like heaven opened up and you are standing next to St. Peter.
Brilliant Work!
Page looks like a smurf standing in that blue light.
JIMMY, you're so gorgeous in this its insane.
music to the world
Thank you for this uploading, amazing quality comparing it was filmed in 1975... thank you so much from Australia 🇦🇺
Прекрасно, как всегда как у него, пока слушала заболело горло, p n
Greatness personified
God ..I love Zepplin!
4 of the coolest guys to ever walk on a stage
Legendary shows
He really didn't sing in falsetto, it was his very high head voice.
I love Jimmy's dancing and prancing around when they're playing Sick Again in this video. He was probably thinking about Lori Mattox.
Boham sounds awesome as ever
It was 31 years today, John Bonham passed away. RIP Bonzo.
Yes super !!!
Art imitating life!
@CBrianChapman just reading LZ '75, and wanted to see some good live stuff from that tour...this is great quality!
The fact that they are all wasted only adds to the magick✨Who wants polished rock and roll anyway!
Even though Zep is a great studio band, Live they were at thier best from 68-73 and again in 79. But from 75-1977, its hard to hear them play because of Robert and Jimmy in 1977.
Superb footage, Sweet ass Les Paul guitar ; ))
I know a lot of people don’t like this performance of rock and roll from plant, but actually I really like it, it’s different and it’s dirty and kinda shows how the band had evolved by that point
Plant wrote this for the groupies! Who he liked but felt sorry for at the same time.! L.A queens 👸
yeah...he'd come back to LA a couple years later and the groupies would ask "do you know my name? Do I look the same?" Meanwhile plant has associated with thousands of women since his last trip.
its flawed and gravelly an the mix is wacked.. perfect! like a comfortable led zepplin leasure suit.
I was at all three gigs that weekend(aged 16 and still at school. First time in London.) 1st night was brilliant. 2nd night was very good(even though Scotland lost 5-1 to England that day). 3rd night, bored shitless.
Plant: "Its always the 1980s". Things doesn't always work out?
Plants voice isn't having it lol but great performance anyway
last night of 3 straight, for being shot, still pretty good. R&R was his warm up, comes together during Sick Again and even more on Over The Hills during this concert.
Zach McQuaid yep last night of a 3 night stint of 3+ hour shows. They should have spaced out shows more
He’s play 3 nights in a role man .... they used to to 3 hours concerts no warming up gig .... he’s the man , not for the fainted heart , Robert Plant the coolest/sexiest front man ever in history!
Plant's typical vocal warmup routine was to smoke ten cigarettes and spark a spliff.
i used to love it when creem magazine used to show pictures of page wearing a t shirt that said rorers 714 on it,
this 10min beat all that shitty music that we heard everyday on the mainstream radio
DO IT!! Taah daah, dammm...♫♪ "FROOOM THE WINDOW..."
The last half a minute proves what I always suspected: Plant is actually a synesthete. I knew it! 4% of people are born with crossed channels of their senses like seeing music or words in color, tasting shapes, smelling emotions, etc., it's a genetic condition, but very few people are aware of it. Very often people with synesthesia find themselves in art and music. But it helps a lot with learning math and languages too. Maybe that's a reason why RP never stops learning and is so curious about everything.
interesting
Robert plan😍😍😍
Oooh yeah Jimmy scracth me just like that !
If this was mixed and masters it would sound amazing. Even sung out plant does a decent job. Page def Would need to patch plants vocals from all five nights to make it exceptional
Jimmy has an inny 😍
Whatever it was, he proved it!
Well I have a straight man's crush. That's right I love him. Beat that.
Damn Jimmy
AaaaaAaaaaaaa jimmy the best guitarist!!!
BoNNíssima...
YEP EARL'S COURT PERFORMANCE WAS GREAT BUT THE MOST FIERY ONES ARE IN THE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN (THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME) AND THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL GIG SUPER AWESOME THOUGH
Sure it is!On the original it was around 2:12
and far away
Dark.
I have this DVD
I was there.
Yeah really and a live album as well! It would go great with How the West Was Won
they lost Bonham, they lost Zep.
@Matthew9444
Yeah, I'll get to it, I;m adding stuff as I finish the audio......so there will be some that come before that, but I'll put some or all of Dazed up......it's about 30 minutes long.
I feel bad for Plant. Night after night of singing in his falsetto at high velocity took away his bread and butter. I know what it's like to try to sing what you have been trained to sing and all of a sudden lose it. It's like losing your right arm.
Maybe he had a broken string or not completely tuned. But it does sound a bit off I love this concert though and would have loved to have been born during that generation to see them live. They were playing three hour sets & that's just amazing
@Matthew9444 The video is from the Bootleg Label EVSD.....the DVD is called "Demand the Unprecedented" and is currently the best circulating video of the show. As for their source? I'm not sure where it came from before them, maybe just a better transfer to digital by them, or some video editing to bring out the best picture..... but yeah it is great quality.
what a degeneration two years made from the 73' concert. Wow.
Bearing in mind these concerts weren't recorded for commercial release and have been put together by enthusiasts that have managed to get hold of the original video tapes, it's a fair job.
Also bear in mind these audio tracks are "as is" and that there is no overdubbing whatsoever unlike TSRTS. In the case of the latter tracks (Rock and Roll, for example), are made up from several nights at the same venue.
John Bonham doin that Frieght train shuffle on snare on Rock n Roll
2:20 - 2:30 is not in the studio version and its amazing
There is a DVD of the concert.
@bamf4k Yeah really soon I think, I did another, I think better remaster of the audio for Dazed, and it is not far from being complete, so it will be the next one I put up.
At 1:17 you can hear his voice starting to warm up and settle in. Pretty cool.
Wish he would
Have warmed up before the shows vs using the first two songs as a warm up
@@derekjackson1039 - Robert warmed up like a legendary front man...... 5 cigs and a joint.
@@bcpme8637 sounds about right 🤣
Hot dogg!
Led zeppelin was on fire during this concert. Only thing I can say that was weak about the show is Roberts voice was shot for these concerts, and the 1975 tour. He had a throat operation in 1974. I think people put down zeppelin for there 1977 tour but if you hear Plant, his voice was back to peek condition.
I agree. But unfortunately Jimmy was wasted all of 1977
I love Sick again but I prefer The Rover(full version) best.
On a good day in 1975 Robert Plant sounds good. Still edgy.
+Ed Vella Yo ed, saw plant in june, 2015. LA, HE FUKIN ROCKED, PLAYED WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, ORIGINAL KEY OF E, NOT TUNED DOWN TO D LIKE THE GREAT LENNY KRAVITZ, I SWEAR HES GOTTEN BETTER, SOME GUYS WERE ACCUSING HIM OF AUTOTUNE, TECH ASSISTANCE. IT WAS THAT GOOD ,THATS WHY IM YELLING. I HAVE VID BUT IT CAME OUT SIDEWAYS.
+Tim Penfield You should put it up.
PLEASE PUT IT UP
Susanne Williamsson
If u search for robert plant at the greek theater 2015 im sure you can find it. also austin city limits has a damn good version though in La, he might of been even better. i migfht put it up because my 8 year old iphone really made a great recording soundwise if not vid wise. LONG LIVE ROBERT FUKIN PLANT BROS AND BROETS
@@timpenfield5 post it.....please
Yea, I noticed a few mistakes too. Jimmy was probably hitting the whiskey also. Still awesome though.
not as a complete show, but cuts from the various dates (mostly 24th and 25th i believe)
"Quel dommage" he said
@mdFriday13 Nope They had a tour in 73.
That was in the UK
Then Tax Exiile
I always wish I had a job like Jimmy, oh well...
"Anybody who's been to any of the other concerts" (cheering) "Oh, both of you, eh?". Gotta love Plant! On a sadder note: "there's always the 1980s" - oh, if only. Actually, given how fucked up they were on drugs in '79, and given what Coda is like, maybe it's for the best that they didn't go any further.
I don't know, man. The best shit is always done on drugs. Just think of Moses and his "trip" through the Red Sea, clearly on mushrooms.
Coda wasn't a planned album,,,,it was a collection of left overs.
