I’ve spent a ton of time on this bike in particular getting it dialed exactly the way I want it. I ride it at minimum once a week so it’s a staple in the arsenal of race whips. If you liked this video smash that like button and help me out 🫡 if you hate it, let me know why right here in the comments. Happy rippin’
Dude I looked up the All-City, DOPE bike. The black on tan walls is 😮💨 🤌🏼 I used to be a tan wall hater too but I think the all black really makes em pop
Nice bike, great review! A quick question if I may. Which Walker Bros disc wheel are you using at 680g? Looking at their current website, all their track discs are 1000g+. Cheers
Yo! Looking back at my order sheet it looks like the REVO Tubular Track Disc. Maybe I said this in error. Gonna watch the video back and try and figure out what I meant. I didn’t say 1,680g did I? 😬 my bad if I was wrong here. Whoops.
Thanks! I’ve found Facebook Marketplace has a really solid Track Buying/Selling Group that has allowed me to pickup some key components, also. Everything new is SUPER backlogged.
Hahah I usually run like 97” actually so 61x17 for mass start racing like that. If it’s fast and we have a big field and I need a high torque kick instead of a spin up I’ll run 61x16 😊
Thanks, my dude! I need to start running the disc on the road 😆 It’s calculated from a calculator I have on my phone or I use charts. There’s a formula but it’s a pain so charts are the answer.
Basically its your chainring divided by you back sprocket multipled by your back wheel. Most back wheels are 29 inch. So if he's running a 60 tooth chainring with a backsprocket of say 15. Then its (60/15)×29 = 116 inch.
Yo! Really just depends. If I’m setting pace toward the front I’ll sit around 350W at 155-160lbs (72kg ish). If I’m sort of ‘playing the devil’ from the back sometimes I’ll have to wind it up pretty big and hit like 900-1000W. If I make it to the end of the elimination and sprint all out I’ve seen close to my max at 1200-1300W. But my average really depends on how many people in the field. You can hide in the back and do 150W but your spikes and NP will be way up because you’re fighting every lap to stay in. I did an elimination video actually on positioning and what not. ruclips.net/video/G0yzBea9tjU/видео.html
Yeah it comes around the front of the bike instead of through the steerer. It’s got two nuts to preload and hold it in place instead of a standard expansion plug or whatever. Probably should have shown more detail

That’s one fine machine right there!
Thx dawg! I love this thing. Finally have it 100% dialed I think. Now to figure out the pursuit setup 😆
Such a sick bike. I have a black All-City Thunderdome with really similar colors: all black components except gold chain and GP5000 cream walls.

If I had a velodrome in my city this would be my choice.
Highly recommend trying it out if you ever get the opportunity. Even if you have to travel to give it a try it’s worth the mini vacation 🤘🏼
Sweet ride! Wish our velodrome hadn’t closed. 😏

Nice vídeo ,thank you!
great video 👏🏼 it’s so hard to find quality track parts these days. eBay is your best friend
Thanks!

Loved the video! Not a track dude but man that bike looks sweet. How do you calculate gearing in inches?
