There was a time when games didn't have to be a freaking Tarantino movie... I admit, I'm one of those guys that loves to death games like GTA that have physics, "woah holy crap, that car skidded off the bridge and crushed me!" and admitedly The Last of Us is more along the lines of a Tom Hanks movie, but I would *rather* play Crash Bandicoot, and watch The Last of Us at the movies...

All Naughty Dog Games are awesome!!! Crash Bandicoot was my Childhood since I played PS1 and one of my Favorites Franchises, my favorite was Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped. Jak and Daxter was Incredible and funny, my favorite was Jak 3. Uncharted was a Master piece with an amazing story and characters, my favotire was Uncharted 3 Drake Deception. The Last of Us??? I can not say much about this game, not for nothing was for many, the best game of 2013. But for me, Crash and Jak & Daxter are my favorites videogames franchises. Really wish they stayed with Crash, it is not like it has a limit of income (look at Mario how many spin-offs does he have along with the original game repeated every 3 years XD? ) The other games are nice but are not games that you can sit with your grandma, cousins, brother and mom and play and take turns for hours on end even replaying the game with the same levels :).....This is why Mario works, because so few games actually try to appeal to a entire family....maybe one day I'll play a modern Crash Bandicoot game with crystals and platforming with my grandma again....been to long since crash wrath of cortex....

Shame that after the next gen came out I wasn't ever able to look at it the same way, I would do anything to go back and see it as I first did. Instead of sony paying to license crash and spyro they decide to make their own franchises and that's how we have jak and daxter and ratchet and clank and uncharted and sly cooper and SOOOOOOOO many more exclusives.

impossible, Activision Blizzard is bigger than Sony, so I doubt they would sell an IP like Crash back to Sony (Naughty Dog is part of Sony now). Chances are even lower now with the sucess of N.Sane Trilogy

I still to this day contemplate picking up a Vita just to play Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 is one of my favorite games of all-time, and I love it enough to want to play ot again just to experience the new content they created, I just don't know if it's worth it especially since I already beat Persona 4 proper on PS2.

Now mine's basically just a portable PS3 with the MGS, Sly, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak and Daxter Collections, along with a few games I have on consoles like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, LittleBigPlanet, Assassin's Creed (my Vita actually came with it), and PlayStation All-Stars. Along with those I also bought a few PSP and PSOne games, and can't say I regret it at all. -Though I still wish I could play Crash Bandicoot on there- Don't let the fact that you already beat a game deter you from re-buying it! I've played every version of Sly, Ratchet, and Jak, and own them all but it's always enjoyable each time to play them again. Especially taking a good year or two break before playing it again.

The least ND need to do for failing to make a Jak 4 on PS3 (and PS2) and not having given us a game in a long time, is to remaster Jak X, the last Jak game made by them and the last game that Mike Erwin voiced Jak in. Jak X is crucial to the series in unusual ways that already ons on to why Jak X is important in it's general way. Like, we have no movie for Jak coming out, we haven't had a proper game in almost a full decade, Ratchet has had several games now that it's not even funny how much he's in the league, Ratchet's 4th game was remastered, etc, etc. ND act like they can't give us a little something to hold us off to Jak 4. They have this plan where they only will develop games that can surpass the previous. A lot of developers don't do this, which means Jak is actually not in 100% good hands. Like, ND only will do realistic games and AAA games. It's obvious that they're trying to maintain a certain kind of reputation.
***** Um, I know this, but.. it's not a Jak game, especially made by ND, so that's why I didn't bring it up -_-. I'm aware of Jak's voice actor in ALL the games he's in (as im a big fan and own all games he makes a direct cameo in, not skins).

I do feel as thought I grew up with Naughty Dog. Crash was the childhood game which led into Jak and Daxter, which led into Jak 2, 3 and X as I got into teen years. Always in my heart.
Poor ND. Leaving Crash Bandicoot behind caused them to go just a little while with Jak & Daxter and then start making lame adults' games (from Uncharted to Last of us) instead of youth friendly ones. Same thing with Crystal Dynamics that begun with Gex and many other funnies and is now going on with Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs. Sigh! What's wrong with video game developers these days anyway? For now on only Nintendo consoles have the biggest value of youth friendly games while for other consoles most games are just sport games (they're OK though), war games, battle games, walking around the dusty towns, RPGs etc. Same thing with real PC-games as well. In era between early 90s and late 2000s there were lot more good games. But whenever ND will have an anniversary and make game to cellebrate it, it shall be a crossover of Crash and Jak & Daxter - and maybe something ND made before Crash if possible.
My mind is blown. So that was the reason why Crash would start dancing if you make him stay still. VERY AWESOME. Crash Bandicoot is my childhood and was my favorite game along side Mega Man X and Final Fantasy. Crash Bandicoot will always have a special place in my heart. :)
The thing about Naughty Dog is that I can forgive them for moving onto Jak, because that trilogy is amazing, too. But I just wish they hadn't given up Crash.

when i was 7.. but uncle bought me a ps1, and i played the original crash everyday.. then when ps2 came out i played jak and daxter everyday... then i when i got ps3, i play uncharted everyday, i grew up with naughty dog, and i love every game they have ever made
I have to agree. If they really wanted to go for realism then fair enough but they really lost their uniqueness because they were so good at the cartoony style.
This is actually a life lesson. Leting go a thing of huge power as Crash, sacrificing it, and then they make the round and come up with Jak and Daxter, Uncharted and The Last of Us. I'm proud of them, they had the balls to do the right thing, even being hard, and come up with double power. Most of the other developers would rather be stuck with the successfull product and lost all the good things that could come up after it.

Insomniac & naughty dog made my childhood and I am very grateful to them, they are a good inspiration in the gaming industry , in the future I want to be like them because I lived my best days and my childhood on what they made. I hope they comeback agian and make another jak game or a new title

The Jax and Daxter trilogy is my childhood. The first game I trully ever fell in love with was Jax and Daxter the Precursor Legacy. Those were some good days.

I still to this day contemplate picking up a Vita just to play Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 is one of my favorite games of all-time, and I love it enough to want to play ot again just to experience the new content they created, I just don't know if it's worth it especially since I already beat Persona 4 proper on PS2.

Eh I picked it up mainly to play Jak and Daxter on the go, as well as a few other PS3 games that had released. Now mine's basically just a portable PS3 with the MGS, Sly, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak and Daxter Collections, along with a few games I have on consoles like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, LittleBigPlanet, Assassin's Creed (my Vita actually came with it), and PlayStation All-Stars. Along with those I also bought a few PSP and PSOne games, and can't say I regret it at all. -Though I still wish I could play Crash Bandicoot on there-
Don't let the fact that you already beat a game deter you from re-buying it! I've played every version of Sly, Ratchet, and Jak, and own them all but it's always enjoyable each time to play them again. Especially taking a good year or two break before playing it again.

I was just pointing out that these two guys in the video left the company in 2004, so they literally had little to nothing to do with ND's recent success
that is the difference between sony and every other publisher out there, sony and their first party devs, are all close to each other, kojima productions with guerilla, guerilla to naughty dog, insomniac to naughty dog, etc.
Insomniac is not a first party developer though.

The least ND need to do for failing to make a Jak 4 on PS3 (and PS2) and not having given us a game in a long time, is to remaster Jak X, the last Jak game made by them and the last game that Mike Erwin voiced Jak in. Jak X is crucial to the series in unusual ways that already ons on to why Jak X is important in it's general way.
Like, we have no movie for Jak coming out, we haven't had a proper game in almost a full decade, Ratchet has had several games now that it's not even funny how much he's in the league, Ratchet's 4th game was remastered, etc, etc. ND act like they can't give us a little something to hold us off to Jak 4. They have this plan where they only will develop games that can surpass the previous. A lot of developers don't do this, which means Jak is actually not in 100% good hands. Like, ND only will do realistic games and AAA games. It's obvious that they're trying to maintain a certain kind of reputation.
***** Um, I know this, but.. it's not a Jak game, especially made by ND, so that's why I didn't bring it up -_-. I'm aware of Jak's voice actor in ALL the games he's in (as im a big fan and own all games he makes a direct cameo in, not skins).
***** This was all under the implication of the games ND made, not all of the games Jak was in in general, therefore, Jak X was the last Jak game (made by ND) that Mike voiced Jak in.
agreed someone should draw up a petition for the remastering of Jak X after all Ratchet: Deadlock got a remaster quite a while ago

I do feel as thought I grew up with Naughty Dog. Crash was the childhood game which led into Jak and Daxter, which led into Jak 2, 3 and X as I got into teen years. Always in my heart.
Poor ND. Leaving Crash Bandicoot behind caused them to go just a little while with Jak & Daxter and then start making lame adults' games (from Uncharted to Last of us) instead of youth friendly ones. Same thing with Crystal Dynamics that begun with Gex and many other funnies and is now going on with Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs.
Sigh! What's wrong with video game developers these days anyway? For now on only Nintendo consoles have the biggest value of youth friendly games while for other consoles most games are just sport games (they're OK though), war games, battle games, walking around the dusty towns, RPGs etc. Same thing with real PC-games as well. In era between early 90s and late 2000s there were lot more good games.
But whenever ND will have an anniversary and make game to cellebrate it, it shall be a crossover of Crash and Jak & Daxter - and maybe something ND made before Crash if possible.
My mind is blown. So that was the reason why Crash would start dancing if you make him stay still. VERY AWESOME. Crash Bandicoot is my childhood and was my favorite game along side Mega Man X and Final Fantasy. Crash Bandicoot will always have a special place in my heart. :)

The thing about Naughty Dog is that I can forgive them for moving onto Jak, because that trilogy is amazing, too. But I just wish they hadn't given up Crash.

+Game Sphere Lol not sure "shooter" is the genre I'd use. They make action/adventure games. Uncharted is incredible, and last of us might be the best game of all time.
But it would be cool if they rebooted the platformer genre. At least Insomniac is bringing back Ratchet next year.
+Kyle Pierce Last of Us is barely even a game and what gameplay it does have is simple and boring. Best game of all time, ha.

when i was 7.. but uncle bought me a ps1, and i played the original crash everyday.. then when ps2 came out i played jak and daxter everyday... then i when i got ps3, i play uncharted everyday, i grew up with naughty dog, and i love every game they have ever made

When they went for realism I felt betrayed, and stop being a fan of their games. Platforming is what they are good at.
I have to agree. If they really wanted to go for realism then fair enough but they really lost their uniqueness because they were so good at the cartoony style.

i agree with you every kid now will mark uncahrted as the best game of his childhood ... but hey it's good game you can't deny it.
This is actually a life lesson. Leting go a thing of huge power as Crash, sacrificing it, and then they make the round and come up with Jak and Daxter, Uncharted and The Last of Us. I'm proud of them, they had the balls to do the right thing, even being hard, and come up with double power. Most of the other developers would rather be stuck with the successfull product and lost all the good things that could come up after it.
Too bad NaughtDog fell off the radar with that Uncharted Series

Insomniac & naughty dog made my childhood and I am very grateful to them, they are a good inspiration in the gaming industry , in the future I want to be like them because I lived my best days and my childhood on what they made. I hope they comeback agian and make another jak game or a new title

Crash was to compete with Sonic and Mario (the "Sonic's Ass" game minus the timer)
The Jax and Daxter trilogy is my childhood. The first game I trully ever fell in love with was Jax and Daxter the Precursor Legacy. Those were some good days.
You should! Some of the finest platformers of the era and DEFINITELY the best, sharpest controls at the time.
