Rented a Hertz Polestar 2 (edit) Performance, coming from an all EV household, the 2 Performance was a sleeper muscle car with brakes and tires that would stop on a dime.
@@Khaled-eo9mr All EVs are like that. Depreciation hits them hard. It's because they are overpriced to begin with and people don't trust aged batteries (because eventually, they are going to die and need replacing and huge expense).

I have always loved Volvo's for their great seats, but these are a joke. Tried one Polestar 2 and first thought it must be something wrong with the seat, but no. Same with a second car.
@@AgentSmith911We’ll have to add “doesn’t know cars”, to your bio as well. Basic Bilstein’s are $1500 a set and up. These Ohlins are far better than those. Part of the issue here is clearly uneducated consumers like yourself.
@@jayem8981 You can buy Ohlins for most cars including fitting for less than 2000. Manufacturer is ripping people off big time if they are charging 10k. If you buy a Lotus you get Bilstein coilovers as part of the base spec. No one is going to pay extra for that stuff on the used market. These EVs ARE also overpriced from new and the market agrees, which is the reason for the huge depreciation.

My next company car... can't wait 😁
69k...depreciation is crazy, you can find them lightly used for 25k
Yeah but they’ll have the old technology and not the newest battery in it

Its pretty fast. I like the motor sound. I wish they'd put a spare tire in the front. It looks like it has enough room for one.
do you shoot your footage in 60fps or 30? its so nice!!

Possible. They're part of the Geely/Volvo family

why does polestar 2 hate gasoline, petrol or diesel?
Better for the environment, requires barely any maintenance, instant power, less noise,...
$70K when it ougtha be $40K and a range that should be at oeast 60% higher. BEVs still have a long way to go.
Apparently you don’t know how economics work.
The Ohlins dampers alone cost $10,000.
@@jayem8981 probably not worth more than $1500
