Coach in the interview said he was pissed about his players doing fancy plays. Don’t know exactly which he is referring to but was so surprised of his reaction. Maybe there is a merit to that idea he is adamant of his players to play only certain style of hockey, and it is taking away players joy of the game
This team is poor away from the puck - stuck in their spots and ironically not in position to actually check anyone - it’s why they’re unable to hold onto leads and why so many players are struggling! Hopefully Tocchet learns something when he’s at the 4 Nations on how to defend with pressure!
Canucks lost it last year after all star break. Rick changed something and it destroyed this team. Pete is ruined and he doesn’t shoot at all, all he wants to do is play defense and pass the puck, our defense have 6 guys and only one guy shoots. Demko sucks, we have no speed at all, they are all gone to shit
