  • Second in a series, where I incorporate a rotary encoder on my 6" import rotary table, to enable angular readout on my DRO. In this installment, I do the lathe and mill work to produce the adapter that will mount the encoder to the rotary table input shaft housing.

    very impressive piece you made with those small machines. I was a tool maker for a long time and am now retired. Recently bought a grizzly mill and lathe and wanted to see how you handled the encoder. Going with the touch DRO real soon. Thanks!
