You shouldn’t try and just rush through. You want to retain as much knowledge as you can even if you’re very familiar with it. That way you will be a better pt
The information is outdated and will do very little for a career where you actually train people. That's why we have our CPT which is 100x better. So if you can't get a refund, get through it ASAP
The course is useless if you've been training for a few years and actually trying to learn how to exercise properly. The only point of the course is so you can get hired and your clients probably think it means something. No PT really needs to know how the heart works and how each chamber of it functions. They just cram it in so you think you got something for what you paid.
SUF-CPT will help you become a qualified CPT. You'll be able to train people on the side, online and/or at their house. Classes are daily but recorded so you can watch at your own leisure.
I guess if you already have education and a certification with strong background, this would be fine. But if not, you could hurt someone, most of the book it based on safety and science.
We have our own certification and help people become trainers. If you can't get a refund for nasm or ace, then pass it in a few days because it won't help you as a trainer.
@@ShowUpFitnesshow so? You can’t make bold claims without backing it otherwise you look bad and make us question your integrity & class as a whole brand which just only Makes me wonder if yours is even legit or a reliable source of info
Im about halfway through now and no lie maybe 1% of the information so far will even be useful as a trainer. Im kinda grossed out. Who the hell cares what myosin is? Absolutely no one
I think most of the information is great and very useful. I read through the entire textbook and have my exam schedule soon. I've been training a client since I've been studying and there has been a lot that I've been able to apply.

Exactly
@@ShowUpFitnessit doesn’t matter, NASM cert is the one that will land us a job, not yours which is not known at all by employers.

Im a dentist who wants to do PT as a hobbie. I’ve been lifting since middle school. Trained all of my friends throughout the years

I really enjoyed the breakdown of the concepts! Am studying for exam in November. What are the other 3 concepts we should know?
Thank you!
Don't wait until nov, pass it ASAP! Time is money
Anything for group training certification?
Great, now, I know there are CPT’s out there that actually don’t know what they’re doing. Lol.
95-99% IMHO

No one does. Your clients want results. SHOW UP! We have a NASM cheat sheet
Idk, maybe someone who wants to understand supplementation and how to more effectively understand what is actually occurring during this process
