Greetings Matt from KC. We got 10 inches of snow yesterday and today everyone is digging out. I feel the same about Christmas, I find the holidays stressful and am glad when they are over for another year, although I do like New Years, fresh start.😀 I love hoyas and this Spring I am definitely going to get one. Wishing you the best in 2025.
Sad to hear you struggled so hard over the holidays! I can definitely relate. Hope you’re feeling better now. And if not, I hope spring comes early this year for us 🤪 I wish you an amazing and plantyful 2025. Fuzzy Hoya tip: Hoya Globulosa 10/10 recommend. 🤩
@@kimsplants ok, second suggestion for the globulosa!! I need to hunt for her now haha thank you so much for the support and always leaving such lovely comments 🤗💕
When my kids were young I LOVED Christmas, now they’re grown I’m exactly the same as you’ve just described…also for birthdays. I also had a rough childhood so there’s probably something in that. Xx just buy folk bubble bath & a lottery ticket..they could be winners!!! Xxx
@@vixistixi it's so interesting how these things change. I think part of it is also just the capitalization of Christmas. It all just feels so forced and I feel like the true Christmas spirit is gone.
I'm the same when it comes to the holidays. Growing up on a concentration camp(reservation) it's very rough financially, so I understand the stress you feel during that time. My mother started her journey on Christmas day 3 years ago and that hasn't help me cope with my emotions during that time. But, my partner and his mother love Christmas, so it was extremely difficult to the parties and put on that mask when I just wanted to bypass the whole month altogether. But hey, we made it and we keep moving forward in a good way. I hope 2025 brings you much joy and prosperity 🫶🏽🪶
Oh really? 😲 I find them pretty easy however I would say they require a lot more sun than regular pothos. Mine gets blasted by direct light. Otherwise it would probably get brown and crispy 😬 fingers crossed you have more luck with them soon 🤞
My moss pole just isnt staying upright straight! It keeps leaning and flips over easily. And I have to water it every other day. Think I will not be giving a moss pole to others any time soon, the monstera is the only one for now.
Is that a Sephora little baby there on ur table?? I’ve put mine into soil-no drainage & it’s doing so well, I don’t let it dry out…tonnes of leaves that are not falling off!!!
@@vixistixi it is. Mine is struggling right now because there is not enough light for it, but I plan on putting her outside during the spring/summer time 🌞
I love giving and receiving gifts, but I hate feeling obligated to do it. Let me give you something because I saw it and thought of you, or maybe you mentioned needing something and I surprise you. I hate buying stuff just for the sake of buying stuff. ps. still jealous of your frydek
Thank you for the cozy, uplifting content Matt 🌿🙏❄️
Thank you for watching and commenting 💕🤗

I envy you for those majestic sun rays at the beginning of the video haha
They are my favourite psrt of the winter season, but they are a rarity 🥹

So glad to hear I'm not alone 🤗 thank you so much! Wishing you all the best and sending lots of hugs 💕
Your en' joy is 'chef kiss.' I've had no luck with them... tried several times, and there was no luck at all.

@thecozyplantco thanks 😊 ❤️
I’ve had a few over the years and I’ve noticed that some grow steadily like Matt’s and others are just so slow. Same conditions.
@kelsey9384 it's so interesting how the same plant can behave sooo differently form specimen to specimen 🤯

@@liv1639 yes! Exactly! Spontaneous gifts are a lot more meaningful than the forced ones.
I was also led to believe that the tortum would be an easy plant. Not so much.
It's crazy how some people say it's their easiest plant and some of us can't grow a nice leaf on it hahah 😂
@@thecozyplantco Right???
You need a Hoya globulosa. Very fuzzy
Ohh i would have never guessed that one is fuzzy 😲 adding her to my wishlist cause the bloom is gorgeous 🥰
Maybe you should wet the roots and moss to make it easier to untagle and stress the plant out less...
@@marnieclifford8604 yeah I'll have to do that next time, but I'm not worried. They will recover ☺️
