Thank you very much for the kind words, PhAtAl! I appreciate that. And yeah, I constantly get asked what is a good replacement for the Detolf, but I honestly don't know. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video.
Well, thank you very much, Gary! I only tend to publish videos when I have new stuff to showcase. It's been kind of slow lately, causing a bit of a dry spell around here. And I agree! The oracle of Star Wars helmets!!!! It’s his “jam” 😊 Great look at your collection Paul, I’m always in ore of them, especially the shore trooper and death trooper helmet. And you are correct about the “Shadow Trooper” helmet, it features in the Star Wars battlefront game 👍
"Oracle!?" Wow! That's high praise, sir! Thank you. And yeah, those Anovos helmets are really hard to beat. I hope one day, Hasbro or another company come out with versions of those that are reasonably priced so people can add them to their collections. And thank you for the info. I'm terrible because some times I pick up helmets just because they look good, but have very little idea about where it was featured. haha! Thanks for always stopping by and checking things out, Luke!
Hey, Brandon! Long time, no see. How have you been? And thank you for the compliment. I appreciate it. I've had a blast collecting them and finding ways to organize and display them. I have some hard decisions ahead of me, as you can see, though. Space is at an extreme premium now and I have three helmets coming in the near future. Thanks for stopping by and checking this one out!
Great video Paul! Definitely look forward to these annual collection updates! The room looks great with the cabinets, statues, and the clone wall. All the helmets on display look really good and were done really well, also think you made the right decision on which one to display for the duplicate helmets you had.
Thank you very much for all the kind words and encouragement, Evan! I struggle some times to make the hard choices on which helmets get displayed and how and where to display them. I deliberately limit myself to this one small room upstairs in my house to prevent myself from going crazy with the displays. That does present some unique challenges for sure. Thanks for stopping by and checking this one out!
Well, thank you very much, Kryptonson! That's very kind of you to say. When I first started out, I was only going to buy the one Stormtrooper helmet. Then I was going to keep it to just one case of helmets.... The next thing I knew, I had a ROOM full of them. I have no willpower! haha! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video!
Wow, Tez! Thank you so much. Coming from a professional film guy and fellow Star Wars aficionado like yourself, that is high praise. I could use a steady-cam for these types of videos for sure, though. haha! Thanks for checking this one out!
Hurrah!! Its Paul's traditional annual room tour! Oh man! That room is filled with Helmets now! I still think my favorite is your custom Artillery Stormtrooper helmet. Maybe it's because I loved the video you made, showing how you made it (that video feels like ages ago now!) Although, that AT AT helmet is freaking awesome! Great video buddy!
Hey, Shabby! Thank you for all the kind words and compliments. And I especially appreciate your compliments on the custom Artillery Trooper and the video I filmed making it. I enjoyed it and was proud of how it came out. And overall, you've got some good taste in helmets. The AT-AT helmet is a thing to behold for sure. Thanks for stopping by and checking in on this one!
Thanks you very much, CwC! I appreciate that. I have fun gathering them up and displaying them. Gonna to have find more space soon, as you can see! haha!
Thanks, Michael! And yeah. Things are getting critical in here now. Unless I want to start over-stuffing the room, I have to make hard choices about what gets displayed. The book you sent me, however, will always be prominently display on the "Imperial Shelf" in the corner by the Stormtrooper. I love that thing! Thanks for stopping by yet again and checking out another of my videos. I appreciate it!
Awesome tour Paul! I like how you organized the helmets in the Detolfs. As I set up my new collection room, I'm trying to find a solution for displaying my helmets...I might be ditching the paper towel holders.
Thank you very much, Matt! I appreciate that. It's a constant struggle for me to display these without it becoming overwhelming and just looking like I am some kind of deranged hoarder! haha! And ditching the paper towel holders you say? I'll be interested to see what you end up with in a video soon hopefully. Thanks for stopping by as always and checking this one out!
@@PaulsCollectibles I'm running into interesting challenges as I set up my new home office/Star Wars Toy & Prop museum (and arcade). One is that this is a smaller space, but taller walls. So for the helmets, I'm looking at mounts on the wall for them. I have to put up shelves first and finding good shelves has been difficult. I'm trying to be patient and take my time though.
Thank you very much for the kind words, Dave. Hearing stuff like that from a guy who has one of the best displayed, most well lit and organized collections out there is high praise for sure. And what happens? Well, you get a pass because I am such a huge VTR Dave fan. Everyone else? No so much! haha! Thanks for stopping by and checking this one out!
“Begun, the Clone wall has!” Great collection and video. I’m hoping the Black Series scout trooper helmet maintains Hasbro’s great value for money - a bit worried about the hinge/join of the faceplate.
Haha! I like the adaption of the saying, Warren! And you are so right. It has officially begun. And I agree with you. Black Series does great helmets for the price, but I can't really think of any with major moving parts outside of the range finders on the Mandalorian style helmets. This should be interesting. You can rest assured the minute they go up for pre-order, I'm going to be on it. Then the minute I get my grubby hands on it, I'll be filming a comparison video for sure. Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out this video!
@@PaulsCollectibles I doubt that I’ll wear it more than a few times, so as long as the join between the main section and the faceplate is parallel and fairly narrow, it’ll be a winner for me. Other manufacturers are too pricey for me at the moment.
Thank you, Remnant! That's what he's called! i always forget the name of that trooper. I grew up seeing him in the older comic books or other material and he was called the Blackhole Stormtrooper, but I think that is no longer canon... And you're right again. This Shadow Stormtrooper is from a video game. Thanks for that! And thank you for stopping by and checking out the video.

I have the RUBIES Phase 1 Clone Trooper helmet. Sure glad I got it when it came out. I really don't like the paint job on HASBRO'S DEATH WATCH helmet....
I am pleasantly surprised to hear that you like the Rubies Phase I helmet, Joel. Most of the Rubies helmets I have seen pictures of look way off. I'm glad to hear they got that one right. And I agree about the Deathwatch helmet. I like it because it looks like some kind of stone work the way they painted it, but overall, it should have had a deeper saturation and looks almost pastel. That one sits in a box in storage with many of my other Mandalorian style helmets at the moment...
I actually don't, Jon. I have seen a number of collectors who use this method to help dust-proof their displays, but I never worried about it. I'm lucky and have enough free time to maintain the shelves often, and I also rotate the helmets around enough that I have ample opportunity to dust them. Here is a link to a video that demonstrates the only modifications I made to my Detolfs. If you decide to check it out, please forgive the janky quality of the filming, as it is one of my older videos, but it gets the point across adequately. ruclips.net/video/11UDXjQfNpo/видео.html
