    Hey.
    I forgot if I'm new to you, meaning if I made some Comments in your Videos or not, but my Mother used to have that Washer back in 2015, which it was acting up for whatever reason.
    But what's in my Head is the Pattern Difference with this Washer.
    Back then before last year or this year, this Washer would lock right away at Start Up with the Drum turning a little, then unlocking as it senses the Load, then re-locks and does 2 small spins before the filling with small turns.
    For the ending part at Final Spin, when the Drum slows down, it would come to the point of doing the Spin Brake where the Drum slows down faster and after the Spin Brake Noise stops, the Washer would wait for the Drum to be at a complete stop before the Drain Pump starts up to check for any remaining Water inside the Drum, then when the Drain Pump stops, the Lid unlocks right away & says "Done".
    On this same kind that I'm seeing in your Video here, at Start Up, the "Sensing" Light would be on, but the Drum would start the Small Turns right away along with the Filling and the Lid would stay unlocked until after the Water drains after Main Wash for Intermediate Spin (1ST Intermediate Spin if "Extra Rinse" is turned on.).
    For the ending part at Final Spin, when the Drum slows down, it would do the Spin Brake thing when it comes to the point, but after the Spin Brake Noise stops, the Drain Pump would start right away while the Drum is coming to a complete stop, then after the Drain Pump stops with the Drum at a complete stop all together, the Washer would wait a few seconds before the Lid unlocks & says "Done".
    So this Washer is doing the same exact Pattern as what I see on the Whirlpool Washer Model WTW5000DW, which comes to this Question to my curiosity.
    Did Maytag update the Pattern either last year, this year, or so on this Washer to have it match up with what it does on the Whirlpool Washer Model WTW5000DW when the Washer is turned on (My Mother has the Whirlpool Washer Model WTW5000DW right now, as what I just mentioned in the Sentences with the Whirlpool Washer Model WTW5000DW.)?

    5:57 That’s how you load a High-Efficiency washer.

      Yet it still failed because the impeller on this machine is just not good. An LG, GE, or Samsung impeller would've likely done a better job than this one because they have huge fins on them. Some more water would've also done well because there's a better chance for effective blooming to take place.

      @@Blurain727 I say the 565FW0 works better because of the vanes on the agitator.

      This is an extremely poor washing system! The articles of clothing are not under the water as and detergent! The impeller is way too small to handle this load! There is most NOT ENOUGH WATER IN THIS WASH BASKET, EITHER! FOR A "POWER WASH," IT IS MOVING EXTREMELY SLOWLY!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING PERFORMANCE!!!!!

    I'd like to see the new speed queen tr7 washer on heavy duty, max soil level, full load size, warm water and with laundry detergent and fabric softener with a full load of colors.

    LOL Thanks for the video Kirk and Przybylowicz is pronounced like {ZA-BIL-O-WITZ} I Know Don't Ask!!! I do believe that the "Bulky" cycle handled this load much better then the "Power Wash" cycle did!!! I had the older model Bravos when this first came out and i used the Bulky cycle all the time to get the best results, the only thing it really ran my water bill up!!! LOL And as to your question about Items stretching? "YES" it can!!! I had a few of my uniform shirts come out so stretched that they actually started to rip!!! As always great video Kirk, Thanks again and Have a Good One!!!

      I understand how to say your name now, thanks! I just got finished filming the same load on "deep water wash" cycle. I think it's a happy medium. I was a little hesitant about saying anything slightly negative about this washer, but I think all top loaders with the impeller design can suffer from the stretching situation. It's just the nature of the design. I always appreciate your input.

    Some of the top clothes do not even get past slightly damp until near the end of the wash cycle. How clean will those pieces get if they were only submerged in the detergent water in the final few minutes? My Maytag has an agitator spindle in the middle and the clothes are pulled into the water often! I had an LG front loader. Some of the clothes barely got damp, even though the washer sprayed water on the clothes as they tumbled in and out of about 2 to 4 inches of water. My husband's folded handkerchief would go through the heavy soiled cycle and come out STILL FOLDED!

      I'm filming this same load on the deep water cycle. It looks much better. Hopefully this video is useful for those not sure what cycle to select on certain load sizes. The video should post tomorrow.

      I purchased some new colorful t-shirts, I'm saving those for the delicate cycle. You already warned me about mixing shirts with jeans. Those shirts are ready to be retired, especially the long sleeve yellow shirt.

    A 4.3 cu ft machine needs to be on Bulky load to wash five pair of jeans and a few shirts to function properly. If it has auto sense why can't it sense and determine that it needs to fill to Bulky. Smh

    Wow, I'm so glad I purchased Speed Queens. I can't believe I was naive enough to fall for all this HE nonsense. Rotary knobs put me in control of everything and actual use of water to wash my clothes in just 30 minutes is a Godsend. I get my laundry done in half the time. I forgot that getting clean clothes shouldn't take over an hour and a half. 😀

    I don’t see these wash plate washers good at anything. Doesn’t seem to matter what cycle or options you pick. I have only seen LG brand washers with successful wash plate designs that turn clothes. Somehow the Whirlpool washers have never mastered this design. Even when the tub is full of water, a child could swish the clothes around stronger than this!

    I don’t understand why the took the direct drive from the new Maytag washer. The older model which I have washes so much better and has a much better washing action. Smh

    • @Smurdle450
      @Smurdle450 6 лет назад

      By direct drive are you referring to the Direct drive HE machines? if so even I can agree they were far more aggressive at washing, and they also seemed to have a more aggressive impeller design.

  • @jamesdriscoll1364
    @jamesdriscoll1364 3 года назад

    they need to make the top loader washer machines back to normal with out a lock switch and by turning the knob and starting the washer machine please make these washer machines old stile from the 80s with the water fill all the way to the top with cotton sturdy cycle I hate these new washer machines they do not do a go job with very less water .

  • @MaytagMachineManiac
    @MaytagMachineManiac 5 лет назад

    The thing is, the braves models have always sucked, in my own opinion. But this is sad, the fact that it won't use more then a few inches of extra water in the tub is sad. It makes me cringe seeing this machine "wash" your clothes

    This is not the right cycle for this load the cycle needs to be on bulky

  • @BroccoliBeefed
    @BroccoliBeefed 6 лет назад +1

    This is the most pathetic wash action I've seen from a wash plate type washer! I stood there and watched for the longest time and some of those jeans didn't even look like they got wet. That yellow shirt rolled over once, I think. I doubt it. :/
    And you're supposed to ball them up and place them loosely around the edge of the tub, not lay them lengthwise

    • @kirkrivas8172
      @kirkrivas8172  6 лет назад

      Not sure, how to load this type of machine properly. More water may have helped with this load. I''m about to film the same load on the deep water wash cycle. It should be more water than the power wash cycle but less water than the bulky sheets cycle. It will post about the some time tomorrow.

    With the 2018 standards these machines have become even more inutile. They weren't very good in the first place. The only functional machines left are front loaders.

    • @kirkrivas8172
      @kirkrivas8172  6 лет назад +1

      Inutile, the word of the day. I had to look it up. I do not blame the manufacturers, their hands are tied. I'm filming this same load on the deep water wash cycle, It seems to be doing a good job.
