@McLogo76 quadmula f3.5. Speedybee f7 mini stack, tmotor 1804s 2400kv 6s, o3, rp1 elrs, and I printed the tpu parts on bright orange. Everything is in hand except the frame and it's aviving tomorrow I hope.
@McLogo76 I have to say I was a aos 5 fan boy but now I'm all in on quadmula. I've built 3 f5 splits but this is my first ever 3.5. They make great 5 in frames. I really dig them.
the trick is getting the power to weight ratio right: if you have freestyle 5" you need to make the same ratio for the tiny quad or it will feel too floaty. you can use the charts from the motor company, do basic math, and get your 5" quads power to weight; then do the same with your 3.5", and in most cases you have to add a motor limit on the 3.5 ,or a bigger battery, to get the same feel because smaller quads tend to carry more P/W.
Thanks that is an interesting take. 👍 I'll check how close the power to weight is on my new 6S shorty with action 2 and 4s lil matey. As the feel is already nice/similar on both.
In the description it says you're using Brotherhobby 1504.5 3950kv but in the video it's 1604 motors. Do you prefer the 1604's to the 1504.5 you had before?
Thanks for pointing that out and sorry that was my mistake... I do fly the LetsflyRC 1604 4000KV and T-Motor 1604 3800KV. Yes I clearly prefr the 1604's with this 300g quad as I have more feeling for the throttle specially in lower revs around the hover point or catching the quad out of a dive.
Agree wholeheartedly both fly different! Love em both! Nice vid man.
@@hi_desert_rat Thanks a lot mate! 👍 yeah and both can be awesome 😄
Great video. I start my first 3.5 in build this week end. So excited to try it. Thanks for the work.
Awesome! Have fun with it mate! What frame are you building? 👍😉

Awsome Ripping bro.
@@fpvkevlar8101 Thanks a lot bro 🙏
nice
@@pgkfpv thanks 😉
The 3.5 3800kv you can put a 850 to a 1050mah 6S on that and feel the power
@@LehtusBphree2flyFPV with a throttle limit that could work if that's what you are looking for. 😉
@@McLogo76 exactly 💯
