If anyone is wondering why Porsche lost their victory but MSR didnt for Daytona (for a way larger infraction) its because at a certain point the race results become official and cant be changed this was the case with MSR but not the Porsche as it was found in post tech inspection.

Finally. All LMDh Manufactures won a race.
BMW from their first outing at Daytona have made absolutely enormous steps to get the car where it is now.
The satisfaction of the team must be something else. From almost retiring in a 24h Enduro to winning the 6H of Watkins Glen.
Next step is to try and win the shorter races and who knows, maybe Petit Le Mans is possible as well. Using this as a prep year for their outing in WEC tells me they will not hold back for 2024.

The #25 had to come to the pits after the incident woth the #01. But they only changed the nose!

I’m really happy that BMW got a win, disappointing it wasn’t on track but it was so close and with the traffic you can’t say they don’t deserve it.
Does anyone think that the IMSA races are more exciting than the WEC ?

The no1 Cadillac crew keeps finding new ways to screw up. Engine failure in Sebring, Bourdais crashed at the first lap of Long Beach, Van der Zande destroyed the car at Spa and now Bourdais crashed the car again. They've retired three times by making unforced errors.
Long Beach was a brake by wire failure, Spa was a steering rack failure, and Watkins Glen was a crash caused by the Pfaff Porsche #9 closing the gap on accident, and Le Mans they were damaged by a GTE car during a caution, the yellow Cadillac just has a very bad luck streak unfortunately
I just found out that Porsche had its win taken away, very disappointed but deep down I felt like bmw deserved the win and I’m happy they got it

We'll see if they try their luck at the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year. Another good contender would be great.
I love your videos, I want to make that clear. But the IMSA channel doesn’t upload the races until a few days after they happen and the nature of sportscar racing means many of us can’t view them until the RUclips upload is posted. You should really consider being more discrete with the titles, or maybe waiting to upload these videos after the main channel has posted the race. A spoiler isn’t going to keep me from watching the race or anything, I’m just a little disappointed now that I know who won. Keep up the great videos nonetheless!

However, wouldn’t the same topic fall onto big news articles from Motorsport.com or teams social medias as they announced the news on the same day as the announcement? So would they technically be spoiling it as well? Here with my videos I try to announce the news from over the weekend the same way Motorsport.com, dailysportscar, and others are doing. I wouldn’t say it’s spoiling things, more reporting on the news like any newscaster would do once it’s made official. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I will keep the spoiling factor more in my mind for future videos 👊
Fair points all around, I know you’re trying to run a successful channel and staying on top of the news is important. I avoid all of the big sportscar pages while I’m waiting for the uploads, but videos showing up in my RUclips feed are a little more difficult to watch out for. I think you’re fine to keep doing your thing, I didn’t really consider the fact that you need to attract viewers to your channel when I made my comment. I’ll just be more diligent in the future, no problem.

Why was there no one at the event? The grandstands seemed totally empty? Were they closed?
The grandstand seems empty but the infield parking and campings were packed.
