I love your choice of music - it pairs well with the crunch of your steps on the trail and doesn’t drown that trail sound out. I also like no music and just the sound of the trail. 👏👏👏
Such an awesome, inspiring journey to follow you on, Ash. It doesn’t seem long ago we were watching your gear review in Ireland. Can’t wait to be there myself. Good shout with the ice axe at PVC, I watched Huck the other day and whilst he didn’t show it he said his axe just saved his life. I hope the snow has cleared for you too as he had to detour Apache Ridge. Mile 152 already! WOW you’re travelling 😮
Ash, I love your commentaries of your love of the trail! It's a nice perspective from the general editorial you give as you're hiking. It's refreshing to see how much joy you have on this journey! Glad you were able to have a nice break before San Jacinto. Stay safe!
You all are looking good! Idyllwild is a great place to take a zero. I'm guessing since this video, you have already gotten back on trail and may have already summited San Jacinto. Would have loved to have crossed paths, on San Jacinto, but I'm not hiking it until next Saturday, May 13th. It is my favorite Southern California Mountain! Anyway, safe travels and enjoy the journey!!
With some having blisters you guys made 2 great choices by doing two 12 mile days and planning a zero. I guess the weather wanted you to stay in town longer. Hope Mt San Jacinto wasn't too bad. ❤
I don’t know you but I’ve been wondering how you’re doing out there, eagerly awaiting this next episode. Your videos are great and I love watching the scenery and your progress. You have some amazing sights ahead in the Sierra!
If nobody has told you yet, taking 1 or 2 Benadryl at night will knock you out. Most thru-hikers carry them. Also taking a magnesium pill helps too with your leg muscles and also helps you sleep. Get good magnesium(not oxide, stearate is better). Both have side affects. Benadryl can dry out your mouth. Too much magnesium can give you dysentery(the shits lol). I recommend both to take sparingly only when needed. Both are dirt cheap.

You are by far my favourite vlogger this year, look forward to the videos, love your energy and your tramily. 6:51

When you were talking about the meals you like the shiny stuff under your hat looked like elf ears and you looked like an elf out hiking.
She really did! 😂❤
Ahahaha I totally see it!!
I'm happy to see happy you 💙 Hope you guys are still smiling on the ice
I love these videos and look forward to seeing your progress on the trail. Hope you get some good rest on your zero days. Be safe. ❤

Great videos, really enjoying it. Where did you get your dried food in Ireland?
The dried food I used on the Pct is huel foods, it’s worldwide so I was able to get it at home and in the US :)
