Yeah, while they disregard the fact that if it's actually true, many captive farm animals would just kill themselves inside their pen or holding because that's what trapped distressed animal usually do. Either they stop eating or ram their head to a nearby fence or concrete wall.

This couple is the epitome of being unaware of their surroundings. Like I'm sorry, you stop in middle of nowhere countryside at a place without a real bathroom, then find a bunch of personal possessions lying around. Then if that were not enough, someone warns them. Then again they didn't look at their surroundings properly in their cabin room to see the blood stains and stuff.
There was also a full parking lot with nobody in the hotel... I mean that's a pretty damning sign

This film is just one of many that demonstrates how terrifying certain sexual/erotic fantasies, fetishes and kinks can be when put in the context of a live-action horror movie.

The first time they get on the bus they pry the door open, see that the keys aren't there, and leave the bus to get the keys, leaving the door open. However once they get the keys and return to the bus, they have to pry the door open again. So during the time that they ran to the house and back to get the keys, all the farm people got on the bus.

This is a horror movie, so of course it's going to be grueling.. I mean isn't basically every horror movie like that? They need to make it as sick and twisted as possible to make it impactful. Plus, you have to agree the concept is rarely thought about, so it makes for an interesting story (which any production team would love to have).
I'm saying the movie is an artwork, not the process of 'farming humans' (people who call this art IS sickos).
