Lennox is subtle and persuasive, and the only reason certain individuals criticize or can't comprehend his answers is simply because they don't possess the Spirit of God, to illumine them. The god of this world, the devil, has blinded their minds, and they refuse the light once given them.

I will suggest for any non-believing, but an open-minded person, he or she does what I was challenged to do, and I will guarantee that any person who does this will be permanently changed. That is, read the sermon on the mount every day for 30 days and you will be changed.

A person cannot judge from the outside and look in, one must ask for entry and it will be revealed. Spend time in easrnest and you will be allowed to see what billions of people see. It takes and open mind and an open heart.

Where are you quoting from? I can't find what you quoted from Scripture.
The Father chooses who are to be saved and NONE are lost.
    John 6:37-39
“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.
For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day."
    The dead have no 'Free-will'.

For People who Think God is threatening punishment think again:
you say that God threatens you with eternal punishment, but He actually is not doing this, because sense Adam sinned it brought humanity into spiritual death, and through this spiritual death are we already set to be put in eternal punishment because what is unholy and spiritual dead cannot dwell with in the presence of God forever. so God is only shedding light on humanities situation and all those who willingly want to dwell in Him forever must repent from their sinful ways to receive the free gift of Salvation and acceptance through Jesus Christ. and while under the influence of Gods Spirit do we willing want to do good and walk correctly. it is not a means of salvation but a product of it. God is not threatening you but is being quite clear that because of your situation you must depend on Him to get out of it. and all those who come to the knowledge and His salvation and reject it can never be forgiven and will not be forced into His presence forever. and the only place spiritual dead creatures can go is the place He originally set up for fallen angels that rebelled. the lake of fire was created for unholy angels not humanity. it is by choice if someone rejects God and wants to stay spiritually dead to live how they want. but because of this choice God will honor your decision and out love not force you into His presence for eternity which only leads one place that you can go in the end which was created only for the spiritually dead. sense God gave us a opportunity to be redeemed from our sins to be made spiritually clean then obviously the lake of fire was not meant for us. but people choose to go their because they disbelief what God said through His Son and His servants and the want of desire to live in their lusts and perversions.

This notion of "free-will" is a popular post-modern idea which the Bible does not support. You absolutely can have love without freedom. You do not have to be free to love someone. After all children are not free to choose their parents. In fact if you do not love your parents who maybe violent towards you. Christ said you have to love even your enemies.
Christ did not die on the cross so people would choose him, Christ died so that the dead may live. God's will be done, not my will.

John Lennox never answers questions directly. He usually brings up stories that are not related to the question but appeals to emotions, eg his sick niece. And usually he speaks of these unrelated emotional examples for a good 10 minutes. By that time the original question is never answered and most people would have forgotten the original question. This is kind of sad.
