Hey guys, I’m aware that there are TF2 and Portal cosmetics in Fall Guys. However, they were added before Epic Games bought the game and its developers, and the cosmetics haven’t been seen again since.
Quick note that epic does not hate steam or valve or anyone in it, they just refuse to give up 20-30% of the profit from their games Tim sweeney has said that he'd be glad to put fortnite on steam if it wasnt for said cut, and also has complimented valve in events like the steam deck launch etc

It’s because Disney is friends with epic they even bought 10% of epic and organisations like Star Wars and marvel that are on Disney are also fans of Fortnite expect to see more Disney characters like Brian griffin
4:38 it's been "basically confirmed" that Nintendo wanted Samus to only be purchasable on the nintendo switch, and adding on to that they wanted it so you could not see the skin if you weren't playing on the switch, so if you joined anyone from any other platform they would just see you as the default character Interestingly enough there's an unused line of text in the files that suggests they might've thought about doing that, it was something along the lines of "This item is currently unavailable or exclusive to another platform"
Yeah but the biggest hypocrisy is Epic bending over for Sony exclusives. Perfect example Blue Kuno, cannot be obtained unless you played and won the PS5 exclusive cup. And there is no other way to obtain her.

Lego and Hasbro never really had that big of a rivalry, Hasbro just had a marketing deal with Kre-O (basically South Korean knockoff Lego) before the Lego colab.

Before the Kre-O license Hasbro and Lego never really crossed paths much as they rarely ever produced toys similar to one another.
If it were to happen, a TF2 crossover would work really well with an entire 9 new skins all with blue and red variants, they would not have to change the art style of the characters too much, and a mannrobics emote would be cool too.
The only character from TF2 I could see being an issue in Fortnite is The Heavy. He's a big boy with a big hurtbox, and might end up being pay to lose.
after fortnite got Ash Williams i became a believer that literally anyone could come to this game, the rights to evil dead have been infamously hard to get a hold of (its also a somewhat obscure horror franchise so even more suprising)
They should have just given switch users a unique style for samus like how playstation got a unique style for kratos and xbox got a style for master chief

Honestly, I would never say never. A lot could happen in even the next 5 years that could bring these IPs to the game. Back in 2020 I thought Spider-Man would never come to the game but now 3 years later we have 6 different versions of Spider-Man with the potential for more in the future. Give it enough time & any collab has the potential to come to the game.
I remember the Spider-Man debate. People saying how Spider-Man wasn’t in the Marvel Battle Pass and never would be because of Sony and the heated debate between Epic and Sony on allowing crossplay. One thing they didn’t realize was Sony only owns the film rights, and not the character itself. It was all up to Marvel to allow Spider-Man in Fortnite, and they gave him the top spot in a future Battle Pass, which made sense.

I signed up for Fortnite surveys and in the last one i was asked if i knew and liked Left 4 Dead ,Portal and Alyx Vance, i think Epic has come around and is willing to collab with Valve now and it may take a few years but I'm not sure it's impossible. Also I'm really glad Epic didn't allow Nintendo to have their way and keep Samus to switch players.
5:27 One collab I'm was hoping especially during Ch3 S4 was Splatoon, considering the whole teasing that gold countered chrome and you could sink and swim in each, it just seemed like the perfect season for a collab (also the glob gun that was introduced that season feels straight out of the splatoon series.

I’d still like to see John Marston from Red Dead Redemption join the Fortnite battles. I think that would be cool! And while they’re at it, maybe add Doc and Marty from Back to the Future. Give them 3 styles, one for each movie. They could give Marty a hoverboard glider and Doc can get the DeLorean Time Machine as a glider. And for pickaxes Marty’s guitar that doubles as a back bling, and Griff’s baseball bat. You could have a flux capacitor, and Sports Almanac backbling as well. How awesome it would be to run around as Marty in a Clint Eastwood outfit. Edit: give Marty the “alright look emote” to distract enemies.

Also Mega Man (any incarnation) back when Mega City was a thing. ESPECIALLY since they're already on good terms with Capcom, considering the Street Fighter and Resident Evil skins. Classic Mega has perfect options for gliders and back blings. The Z-Saber would be an amazing pickaxe, as would the Longsword from Battle Network. Heck, X would be an amazing Battle Pass skin, should they get any of his armors as variants.

I'm still hopeful for Samus. Nintendo characters hasn't been on the collab surveys in a long time but a TON of Nintendo characters were on the most recent one. Including Samus and Link

Another potential reason Valve characters won't come to Fortnite is because Valve usually doesn't like companies making money off of their characters, for instance most L4D collabs are 100% free like in Dead By Daylight and Dying Light
The sad part about Nintendo is that with the new Rocket Racing mode an F-Zero crossover would be PERFECT. A Captain Falcon skin with a Blue Falcon car would be so easy

Another thing that will probably never be added. Something I don't see too many people talking about anymore. That game your PC couldn't run back in 2007, Yeah, *That* game. I honestly think it would be pretty cool to see stuff from Crysis in Fortnight. I would sell an organ for tf2 skins in fortnite. It would be so easy to do too, there are already emotes you can add straight from tf2 and both games are surprisingly similar art style wise.
I would pay good money for a Chel skin since I’m a HUGE Portal fan. Imagine a Chel skin with a Wheatley or a companion cube back bling! They could even add the portal gun as a limited time item. Imagine all the maneuverability that would add to the game. Of course they would have to put limitations on it like putting a range limit on it or only having it work on certain surfaces. But I think it would be awesome and could rival the grappler as a traversal item. PLEASE Epic! I need this to happen!
And they could reskin the briefcase turrets they had that one season into the Portal turrets as another limited time item! There could even be a whole new creative map that is just solving puzzles in Aperture test rooms with the portal gun, almost like a new Portal game. Come on, Epic, this is gold!
if TF2 mercs were ever added to Fortnite they should also be playable heroes in Fortnite's OG gamemode "Save The World" it would be awesome to see what perks they'll bring to the table but i'll be honest epic doesnt give 2 fucks about their original gamemode....but i still dream

Another potential reason Valve characters won't come to Fortnite is because Valve usually doesn't like companies making money off of their characters, for instance most L4D collabs are 100% free like in Dead By Daylight and Dying Light

The sad part about Nintendo is that with the new Rocket Racing mode an F-Zero crossover would be PERFECT. A Captain Falcon skin with a Blue Falcon car would be so easy
I love Nintendo, it is my favorite gaming company, but I feel like they need to be a lot less strict about their properties, I think it would help them get a lot more fans.

Last time I checked the Switch has sold only 130 million copies and that's over 5 years so I don't know where those other 1.8 billion fans are coming from

I would sell an organ for tf2 skins in fortnite. It would be so easy to do too, there are already emotes you can add straight from tf2 and both games are surprisingly similar art style wise.

I would pay good money for a Chel skin since I’m a HUGE Portal fan. Imagine a Chel skin with a Wheatley or a companion cube back bling! They could even add the portal gun as a limited time item. Imagine all the maneuverability that would add to the game. Of course they would have to put limitations on it like putting a range limit on it or only having it work on certain surfaces. But I think it would be awesome and could rival the grappler as a traversal item. PLEASE Epic! I need this to happen!
And they could reskin the briefcase turrets they had that one season into the Portal turrets as another limited time item! There could even be a whole new creative map that is just solving puzzles in Aperture test rooms with the portal gun, almost like a new Portal game. Come on, Epic, this is gold!
if TF2 mercs were ever added to Fortnite
they should also be playable heroes in Fortnite's OG gamemode "Save The World" it would be awesome to see what perks they'll bring to the table but i'll be honest epic doesnt give 2 fucks about their original gamemode....but i still dream

Fortnite does have Ripley and the Xenomorph from Alien.
Nintendo confirmed that Alien was the biggest inspiration for Metroid.
