Distortion of the image due to the trimmer sitting at the edge of the picture . The cut is square . Keyboard warriors criticizing all day. Great efficient tip by this guy 👍
So after you frame that wall you’ll have to drag it to wherever it goes ? Most people i see tack the bottom plate to the snapped line so it works as a lever when lifting the wall and it’s perfectly in place.
Well yes, but we have a crane. This is a garage wall, I like to frame them on the deck so I can get them perfectly square and sheeted before setting them
It’s called box framing the other we call stick framing I prefer box framing and you build it in place no dragging it and I like to us my square when cutting or chop saw like the framing to be tight
Space those nails alittle farther apart..good tip tho....you are a very good young carpenter, something that our trade really needs. You qere taught right.
I've never seen anyone else paint the top handle like that,I do it because my guard is pinned up and I don't want co-workers to pick it up on accident.
Saw tables are frequently bent and twisted. You need to first check and make sure the blade is at a right angle to the table, or the trimmer will not be a right angle.
@adammorgan9304 No one can tell if the saw table is setting square against the edge of a 2x6 at the beginning of the cut. If the table is off just 1 degree, that translates to 3/16" over 5/1/2",which means only one point of the trimmer will be supporting the header.
Hammers always slapping you in the back of the legs in the traditional ring holder in the rear of the tool belt . Also easier to seat and draw quickly on your side sheathe

Love it! 🎉
Respect the hustle!
How is it saving time if you're putting down the nailer?
Not taking out the tape measure and square? Or waiting on someone else to cut it
@Coffmanconstruction But if you cut all your pieces first, you dont have to put the gun down at all. Its still a neat trick though.
That’s what I did on every other wall, but because this was a garage wall I didn’t make it a cut list
@Coffmanconstruction good stuff. Thanks for the tip. Keep up the great work!

Would you ever use a battery powered nailer? If no explain y if yes which brand would you us
To heavy. It’s good for remodeling or smaller jobs.
I agree
I do like the paslode cordless though
Battery powered nailers you can't keep up feeding them nails
For nailers is just stick with neumatic.

I like it!
“Normally just smoke weed…. Aaaand a little bit of meth”😭😭
Your lumber is straiter than mine
Here in my garage…. Knowledge
I never make a cut without holding my square in place . If every cut is square the house is square. If it aint it won't be .
You cut can still be square without a square. Holding it in that cut perpendicular to the wood grain and just "dropping it" works just fine
I started doing this but I don't wanna get sloppy and forget my technique without it either😅
Look&crown might help
maybe it happened before pressing record you retard
Now let's teach you how to properly space your nails. 😂
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Great idea, but this way you skip the step of crowning your boards.
Just cuz I didn’t film it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen!
@Coffmanconstruction Either way, filming it opens yourself up to the criticisms of the armchair experts behind a keyboard.
Yep just like yourself..an armchair expert@@trickyricky12147
I never knew John Deere made circ saws

Very true! I don’t use them after they’re bent, because I use the table for measuring rips and notches very often!
It’s framing. Doesn’t have to be laser accurate. He’s probably been cutting with the saw all day, he’d notice if it were out of square.

Cuts ain’t square
Will never understand why guys put their hammer in a slip sheath underneath their hip pouch… that back ring is for your hammer…
The guy just cut 3 trimmers out of square and youre complaining about hammer location?
Most framers cant swing a hammer that well anyway
It's the best way to carry a hammer. Try it i'll bet you'll love it.

So wrong. So wrong
Change that blade my man love your work but that blade is splintering like hell lol build on bro
