Thanks for this ultamate dimmu borgir live 1997👹🇮🇸
I had a bootleg VHS w. the VIva special on it, and a concert filmed in 1997 (audience filmed) from the German tour in 1997 but w. Stian Aarstad on keyboard. Looked like some old concert hall they were playing.
i was there - good times to remember :)
What waz it like🇮🇸👹
@@franzygod9269 it was very special: a great atmospheric location with stylish lights, bar and everything. And of course these great show of all these brilliant bands: Dimmu, Dissection, Amorphis...in a time with no youtube, no streaming...the bands i listen to during these times of my life will always be special for me. listening to them brings back my former self, reflects the inner youth still inside everyone.
@@felixdorn21 did you take pictures? Can you share if anything left?
@@DivineCode2019 unfortunately not.
I was there
Thy Dimmuborgir amasing alwayz
Brennt das da am Anfang ein bisschen? 😅
Do you have Dissection from this festival?
No, I only have Dimmu Borgir and In Flames
who was the keyboard a this gig? i don't think its stian.
Kimberly Goss
I think they broke with Stian soon after this gig due to several reasons - unreliability among them. It was the legendary gig where I think Silenoz burnt himself his hand while playing with the torch :D I was standing in one of the front rows and saw how they desperately tried to extinguish the thing :D after the gig we had a talk with the guys outside, man those were times... It was the coolest gig of the day given that Dimmu was the new star at the night sky at those times... (even though Amorphis Crematory etc also played great gigs)
