    Great vid again. My question to yall is what kind of store level do u have on ebay? And do yall think what level store some1 has correspond to sales? I was selling with no store n things were ok. Just recently opened a beginner store since I only have roughly 450 items n noticed an uptick in sales but nothing major. Of course I do notice better sales the more I list too.

      Thanks for the compliment on the video and for your question!
      We currently have a store at the $59.99 level on eBay. From our experience, the level of your store can have some impact on sales, but it's not the only factor. A higher store level offers more benefits, like increased free listings, lower final value fees, and better tools for promotions and analytics, which can help boost sales indirectly.
      Opening a beginner store was a great move, especially if you noticed an uptick in sales. It’s true that listing more items tends to correlate with better sales, as it increases your visibility and chances of making a sale.
      We plan to move up to the next store level once we hit 12,400 listings because it will save us money in the long run due to the additional benefits and reduced fees.
      Keep listing consistently, and you’ll likely see more improvements over time. Best of luck with your store!

      Hi there,
      Thank you so much for your kind words about our videos!
      I'm really sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing. When it comes to bulk selling your inventory, it's essential to find a balance between getting a fair price and moving your items quickly.
      Here's our suggestion:
      Assess Your Costs: Determine the average cost you paid for each item in your inventory. This will give you a baseline for pricing.
      Set a Reasonable Markup: Aim to sell your inventory for slightly over what you paid per item. This ensures you cover your costs and make a bit of profit while still offering a good deal to potential buyers.
      Identify High-Value Items: Go through your inventory and pull out the really good stuff. These items can be listed separately at a lower price than usual to attract buyers quickly. This way, you can still make some decent money on your best items.
      Create Attractive Lots: For the bulk sale, consider grouping items into lots that make sense (e.g., by category, size, or brand). This can make it more appealing to buyers looking to purchase in bulk.
      Advertise the Bulk Sale: Make sure to highlight the bulk sale on your eBay and Poshmark listings. Emphasize the great deals and the urgency to sell.
      Use Facebook Buy/Sell/Trade Groups: In addition to eBay and Poshmark, consider posting your items on local Facebook buy/sell/trade groups. These groups often have a large, engaged audience looking for deals, and it can be a great way to move inventory quickly.
      It's tough to part with your inventory, but this strategy should help you recoup your investment and clear out your storage quickly.
      Best of luck, and feel free to reach out if you need any more advice!

    So if you find something in excellent condition possibly unworn ya'll just list it as new w/out tags?

    • @ResaleBrothers
      @ResaleBrothers  2 месяца назад

      No, we don't list items as "new without tags" unless we are absolutely certain that the item is in brand-new, unworn condition. If we find something in excellent condition that may appear unworn, but we can't verify that it's never been used, we typically list it as "like new" or "excellent used condition."

    What are your thoughts on eBay coming down on selling NWT items? Peter Millar handed out a bunch this week

    • @ResaleBrothers
      @ResaleBrothers  2 месяца назад

      The recent changes eBay is making regarding the sale of New With Tags (NWT) items have certainly sparked a lot of discussion in the resale community. It seems like eBay is trying to ensure the authenticity and legality of the products being sold, which can help protect buyers and maintain the platform’s reputation. However, this does pose challenges for sellers who rely on these items for their business.
      Regarding the recent distribution of NWT items by Peter Millar, it’s crucial to be cautious and ensure you have proper documentation or proof of purchase for these items to mitigate any potential issues with eBay.
      In our experience, if we receive a complaint from a brand, we usually go through our inventory and change the condition to "used" on every item with that brand name. This approach helps us stay compliant with eBay’s policies and avoid further complications.
      It’s definitely a tricky situation, but staying informed and adaptable is key. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and how you’re planning to handle it.

    Yall sold $53k worth of stuff you did not make $53k in profit. Big difference…

    • @ResaleBrothers
      @ResaleBrothers  2 месяца назад +1

      We said that we made $50,992 in sales not profit. If you watch the video you’ll see that we never claim $50,992 in profit.

      Honestly, even if they ultimately made 20% profit from this week, that’s around 10k to split between the both of them - for a week’s worth of sales. That’s incredibly impressive.

    Maybe everyone should unsub from your channel since it is not worthy of your time or effort.
    I didn't hear the question because I was listening in the background, but it got my attention when you answered, "we don't have enough subs yet to make that video. We only have 4200 when we get to 10,000 that's when it will be worth it."
    Or maybe you guys should change your mindset. Why not make videos that would be worth it if you had 10,000 subs. How are you ever going to get where you want to be, unless you make better videos that will get you the amount of subs you're looking for?
    You should put out content that will get you the subs instead of waiting until you have them to do better. If you don't have the amount of subs you're looking for ask yourself why? Why isn't my channel growing at the rate I want it to? You shouldn't wait until you get there, because you might not.

      That comment was made in reference to creating a paid group mentorship/zoom call. Nothing to do with our videos/content. We always try to make our videos as informative as we can, but to do group training videos and advice/mentorship to other individuals is a task that will require a lot of studying and organization on our part because we haven’t done that before. So we wanted to wait until there was more of a demand for individualized training before we take that venture on. Thank you for your concern though and we will keep what you said in mind!
