This is where I started my story with you a year ago. Your fountain brought me such joy that I took a small one of mine and wrapped the pump in plastic and turned it into a succulent garden and enjoyed it all summer. But alas I live in Utah so it came in for a bit, got dismantled, and the soft succulent, like you said don't like indoors. SPIDER MITES!!! This was like a video of revival--oh how I love your fountain--JELLLLLLLLLLY, so JELLLLLLLLLY. You are so much fun.
You can do all the big, expensive gardens but, to me, this is the most satisfying to watch! Love seeing a transformation in less than 20 minutes. I'd love to be there to catch your throw-aways! I've watched you plant and revamp this fountain several times but it never gets tiring for me. 🌵💚☘
Just got a beautiful fountain for my 25th anniversary! Can hardly wait to fill it tomorrow. I’ve watched this video several times and had to watch again inspired. You never disappoint Laura. Thank you for sharing your video.😍❤️🌵🥰
I love it! You never cease to inspire taking risks and not being so delicate with these tough beauties. These are my favorite videos too, just your backyard garden plant chores. ❤️
Such beautiful colors and textures!! I love all your videos, thank you for all the tips you share. I truly appreciate you taking time to show us. Have a blessed day!! ❤️❤️
Oh goodness, I have to stop watching at 2:30 and will continue viewing the rest when I come back from picking up some new succulents that are arriving from the mountains (8 hours' drive away) in 15 minutes at my fave supplier's. Thanks for dropping this video, Laura!
@@LauraEubanks, I had to wait 3 hours for the plants to arrive but I had fun! I got a modest haul of one mid-sized aloe, a huge Fred Ives, a ghostie, a topsy-turvey with 3 pups, a neon breaker, a harmsii, a crested sedum, a neon breaker hybrid, and a bombicina - for a total of 10 dollars. I'm bummed that I left the Mexican snowball. The plants are brought down from a province up in the mountains where the temp is low but the sun is bright. The colors are amazing but they fade when they are brought here to the lowlands, but now that we're entering the hottest part of the year, the succs are turning a different shade of crazy here in the city! I finally finished watching your video. Your fountain is like a candy dish!
Laura you're so cute. Earth ... when you want to add it to the garden you call it soil, when you don't want to see it you call it dirt. It's your designer's artistic eye. Love it!
Wow, the fountain is just bursting with color!! Love that deep red color that the K. blossfeldiana adds to the portrait. It is very gratifying watching you transform the fountain planting. I can’t think of any other types of plants that would work so well as the succulents. Bravo!
My very favorite spot in your garden, I adore the fountain! I wish I could do that outdoors here, but sadly the climate isn't suitable. I do grow sempervivum tectorums and some stone crops delosperma and some other sedums. I have a much smaller version done in a birdbath.
Absolutely gorgeous!! I enjoyed every moment of this and my eyes were enjoying all the beautiful eye candy I have a bird bath I've been aching to plant out. This has inspired me so much, as always love your eye for detail and design, thankyou for sharing with us all you do 😊
Absolutely gorgeous! I need to attack some areas but am nervous to go for it for a couple of reasons. Will need to own up to it soon because, as you said, they need time to be set as cuttings and gain roots before the summer heat hits. Thank you for sharing that redo!
The sedum colors of orange and yellow and the donkey’s tail of pastels are so gorgeous and I’m so jealous! I think I water my succulents too much because I don’t see those colors on my plants. 😔🥰
Wow, looks pretty good to me. You should see my year old tapestry. 😳 I’m going to redo it. Soon. Love that agave varigata. My Bearss lime looks like your lemon tree. 😘😘😘☘️
I always laugh at the things you 'shake your head' at! I thought it looked so gorgeous. I hope that some time in my life I'll be able to create something as pretty as one of your 'hot messes'!
I myself also did a fountain after watching your video!! I added a lot of graptosedum and other direct sun tolerating succulents cus it is in a place where it does not get any shade. It’s so full that I cannot add anymore cuttings but my monkey tail isn’t even hair yet! 😂
I liked the fountain without the big red aloe (was it an aloe?). When you took it out and cut it back the fountain looked more balanced. I really like the fountain. You can really get a lot of plants in it. I like the little plants. Although a large plant in it's own pot or in a separate place in the ground is good also.
I absolutely love you and I have gotten a real fascination with succulents since I've started washing you could you suggest some larger succulents that would survive Texas year-round 8a

Om gosh,I can’t take it. The colors and textures in the fountain, unreal.
Your fountain never disappoints Laura, it's always a riot of colour and so beautiful!

The lightning in the background is cool!
So beautiful!!
Also a place I think the crested grapto can go in the raised succulent bed!
What a masterpiece, I can't wait to take mine from under their grow lights but it's still too cold here in Canada. You are an inspiration 💚
work of an art
Trop beau!! 😍
7:27 That sound ❤️
Incrível você encosta as suculentas e elas nascem! Muito bom ✌️♥️🇧🇷

Did i see lightning in the distance or was that a camera flash? Around the 8:00 mark.

Wow I love the color of those donkey tails! What type of variety are those? 😍
Hi, what succulent soil do you use and where do you buy it? Do you have a suggestion for prepackaged succulent soil without bugs or mold?
Spring is still about 2 months away for my location. My plants are already beginning to wake up though!
The succies at 14:50 I think might be 'Huth's Pink'
Lauraaa, please tell me where I can find an agave attenuate verigata like yours, I can’t seem to find it anywhere online and I am obsessed with it! 😭😭
😍
Hi, I think this looks amazing, does the fountain have any drainage
Yep. Greg drilled holes in it before I planted.
How did these succulent get names? Vera Higgins...sounds like someone in my neighborhood! 🤔
How much is an hour of virtual consultation?
If I wear to cut the trunk of my aloe vera would it reroot? Like that aloe. Or is it just that one that can do that?
They’ll all do that🤗
@@LauraEubanks okay thank you.
😍😍😍👏👏👏
☝🏽 more thing, my pink Echeveria is being pecked to death by the birds, whom I love also. Any advice 🙏🏼
Get a cat.
@@LauraEubanks NOOOO! :--( LOL I'm a dog person, working on getting pup.

The birds ate my succulents any suggestions please?
