You and your succulents have inspired me to grow and share them here in Ohio. I, personally don't have much sun, but I don't let that stop me from planting succulents in my yard! I love them so, I still try many beauties here. Thanks for all of your fun and positive creativeness!🌵❤🌵
I am on the east coast and I will never see a succulent or succulents as gorgeous and as huge as these in your videos. I am in aw of your garden. I am sorry I had to laugh out loud 😂 when you threw the 🐌. I am definitely a fan of your run amuck garden, because I would be in heaven in your run a muck places there. Just gorgeous!
Like literally the only highlight of getting stuck at home 24/7 😷 is that I came across your channel on YT! Love the work that you do and your beautiful garden. It surprises me everyday how resilient Fred Ives can be. I bought one on clearance at a local nursery a few months ago that was on deaths door and now it is huge and thriving!
I love all your tipster! I have so many succulents and cacti and I love when you describe the various plants and names which give me more information on the ones I have and others I will want to acquire. Love your videos especially now when we have more time to work in our gardens😊👍

Thank you for all your great videos. They are really helping me to relax in this crazy time! Keep up the fantastic work. BTW wish I was your neighbor so I could dig through your discarded yard waste and start my own succulent garden. I bet there are fantastic pieces to propagate in there.
I grew up in So Cal and your garden reminds me of my moms so much. I garden in central NC now and I am determined to have a succulent area in my yard. You’re an inspiration My succulent goddess lol.
Also in central NC & I wish I had the confidence to try.
I thing I'm going to plant some in large planters that I can take inside over Winter. 🙁 I don't know but Laura sure makes me want a succulent garden.

I live in Woodstock Ga. I. would love to have succulent garden. I fight with not enough sun in my back yard. I can’t grow grass so I have made my whole back yard a flower garden. With mostly shade loving perennials. Love watching you. Here succulents are very expensive.
Cracks me up when you say the "Garden of Death" - I'll have to start one. My little garden and pots are getting to that stage where I take another peak and they have pups and there are things growing that I don't remember planting and flowers coming up that I didn't know were going to happen. Sucs are such fun. That might make a good t-shirt. Thanks again for the inspiration.
I love the 'garden of death' idea... mine is on shelves because unfortunately all my succulents have to be indoors - but I get it!

Laura, I live in the mid-Atlantic and obviously my climate can't handle exactly what you do but I do have some succulents and LEARN SO MUCH FROM YOU. And many of the design principles apply anyway. I think I see Lobularia back behind the bench. Is that what it is? I winter sowed some and am getting ready to plant it out.

In many of your videos, you plant aeoniums (summer dormant) along side crassulas or sedums, whether in the ground, pots or in a chair (hehe). You prefer to water by hand, as I do, so how do you regulate watering combinations of plants, especially in pots? Inland, Northern California, how often would you water potted aeniums in the summer?
