It could be recency bias talking, but I legitimately think this new helmeted Wasp head sculpt is my absolute favorite head in the line! The likeness is fantastic, the paint is on point, and Gasnro wasn’t afraid to go all in and honor the goofy source materials. It’s supposed to look goofy, and that’s why it’s awesome! I can only speak for myself, but I’m tired of modern design la trying to done everything down and make it feel tactical. That approach almost feels like you’re embarrassed by the source material. Give me wacky character designs!
I agree! Can’t stop looking at it. Closest competition is the angry head on 20th Hulk (which others disliked for some reason) So stoked at the recent face improvements
I still feel like the regular sized Giant Man should have come with the Haslab Giant Man, but my opinion aside, I am super excited to cross off another pair of classic heroes and it makes me want the Haslab Giant Man on my doorstep right now!
The legends community is getting to used to not having ab articulation. I’ve seen plenty of people make excuses for the lack of ab articulation for wasp. It’s unacceptable. It’s been a standard kind of articulation for decades.
This is a great year for the line overall. Criticism is absolutely important, but praise is just as important. I think the community as a whole wants to appreciate for a sec before doing what we do and start (rightfully) telling Hasbro what improvements they should make

If hasbro gives out an objectively good product, we will all be happy. It’s not the entire community’s job to get others excited. It’s hasbros job to do that. Have you heard anyone in the action figure community not sing the praises of Jada toys street fighter line? I doubt it. It’s because every single release of there’s is damn near perfect and they sell for $25 a figure. That’s what I expect from my action figures. That is what will get the entire community excited.
We shouldn’t be getting used to poor engineering and cost cutting. The fact that they are so proud of their “super articulated” female bucks (only 2 figures so far) when it’s been industry standard for years now is ridiculous. And they’re making those figures exclusives. Sure Hasbro is getting better but it’s 1 step forward and 2 steps back with them.
I can see Hasbro including a white antenna Giant-Man head as an accessory with a Goliath or Yellowjacket release. Kinda like what they did with the Onslaught head with Kitty Pride.
So stoked for this set and the upcoming Giant Man! Although honestly I’ll probably ultimately display that 2-foot monster with my old 4” Marvel Universe First Appearance Avengers set for some real scale fun

I think this is a great set! It would have made the giant man haslab extra special if it would have been included though. I really like this set. I do wish the torso and neck articulation would be better on wasp though. And the hank pym headsculpt is a bit big for the sunfire body mold. My biggest nitpick is the mismatching shades of red on wasp's boots. Is it just mine?? One boot is darker than the other one, not to mention messy paint.
2:15 Being a fashion designer, the alternate Janet head could look good on the Warlock wave Dazzler body, with swapped feet. 13:53 They're all innocent, Yellowjacket is the culprit.
They made Hank's antenna black because the Has-Lab Giant-Man has black antenna (and white lines on the sides of his head), so they wanted this figure to match that. Makes sense.
Looking at the legs on the upcoming Skaar as well as the gold retro Iron Man tells me that we will be receiving an Avengers #1 shorts wearing Hulk sometime soon 👑
I'm surprised they didn't give was same shoulder things as x-men "97 Jean grey though I'm not a fan of the waist ball joint unless they decided to pair it with a diaphragm joint.
I really love this set, and will be picking it up for sure - Pym is a great character! However, I feel we've had enough Giant Man now, and with regard to your comment about a 12" Giant Man - I'd rather have a 12" Clint Barton Goliath; something new and very cool! Great review, Dude. :)
