Absolutely Mike. I think you volunteered for my group the 2nd round. Had a great time and appreciate the score keeping. I had the pleasure of watching Thomas Gilbert park the hole round 1 and another kid parked it round 3.
TJ.Lazer hey TJ! Thanks for all the tips,. No joke, I have improved 50 feet on my back hand since last week with all of your help ..still not even close to your insane back hand. Great round! I love how you didn’t let a few bad breaks get in your way.
Mike Little good to hear! 50 feet is a nice jump so quick! Yeah the bad breaks can definitely be tough sometimes out there, but i just use it as motivation to perform better next time. Already looking forward to shooting better next year. Such an impressive beast of a course.
Eagle's eagle was the best shot of the weekend
Edit: 3rd round hole 2 on his way to victory, pretty sure it was the only eagle of the tourny on this hole.

Big Jerm's drive on hole 4 with the McBeth Star Destroyer was a beautiful shot. It's so satisfying to see that curve land so well, especially with the threat of the water hazard only a few feet to the left.

Disc golf tournaments need to start having cameras following more than just the lead card at this point. Make it more like golf coverage.
It’s on The Disc Golf Guy’s channel. The whole round and also a clip of that throw.

honest question how is the throw at @3:17 allowed? He's moving several steps before he throws. Thanks anyone for a response. EDIT: slowed down the playback and the throw looks legit.
I think he releases the disc before his left foot hits the ground. If you can time the step right, it is a legal shot that more people are starting to use.
He definitely made a step then threw the disc, I honestly don’t think that should count.
@@shustermanclips I've played this back several times trying to see the foot hit and the disc release. I think what tricked me is just how long his stride was, looks crazy, but I guess it's legit.
@@baileyrodgers8377 play it at .25 speed, you should be able to see that his body is completely in the air when the disc leaves his hand. I think the camera angle is playing some tricks on me because I swore he took two steps before I slowed it down, however, I was able to freeze frame and see that the disc was out of his hand, left heel hadn't made impact with the ground and his right foot was still in the air.

I was thinking the same thing, but he lets go of the disc before landing his foot. I do believe, however, a rule change is warranted regarding step-putts. It may be legal, but seems cheap to me. I think if you want to step-putt, you should have to land your step before the marked lie, not after it. That is, start the shot 3-4 feet behind the lie so your step motion is all behind the lie. Just my opinion.
