I would guess every single Christian in the country agrees with this statement.

@@stevejames5863 I would argue the opposite: that he does, in fact, understand that religion is not science. That is exactly why he is bothered by religious believers treating their theology as a replacement for science and thus misleading children about what is true scientifically and what is not.

@@harmonium8198 most christains don t believe that the earth is some 6000 years old. a very small percentage of people and christains believe this. when they go to church, they don t expect an exam on biology or physics. he uses the most extreme christains, because he has an agenda. so he is manipulating you. the bible then is mostly stories, most of them have a moral lesson, or a spiritual teaching. again, you are right it is not science. bishop usher, thought up the world was 6000 odd years old, and people hang on to it like crazy. i mean atheists do, because it s not true....he s one guy, in the middle ages.. if anything, genisis, has some accuracy as to the big bang, ie god said , let their be light, etc..but most christains see genisis as more symbolic. and ok yeah i agree, der r sum krstinz, in da southern states....guess what, thats all he talks about. there are many other christains outside of the bible belt, who don t take the bible as literally as they do. but since other christains think they can be one...stupid or ignorant, or two...way to literal or extreme...he ll hide that also. i m a christain, i know many christains who think bible belt christains can be illogical, too severe, even racist, and even not talk the bible literally, they actually take the moral aspects out of context, esp if they are severe capitialsts , racists, and cruel to the poor.....has he talked about the billion s of christains who disagree with the central themes and extremism of the bible belt? the millions upon millions who do think evolution is probably valid? nope. do you know why? that would ruin the stronghold arguement he has...christains are stupid, deluded, and somewhat evil...if he talks about all kinds of other christains, many...many pillars of communities, and some very bright, anglicans, various catholics, some possible lutherans, who btw have same sex marriages, united church goers are liberal, and among the above, except catholic, actually have same sex marriages.
you see there are many types of christains... but , shhhh he thinks all christains are those in the bible belt.
if he added the rest, his arguement would be squashed.

How is is SCIENTIFIC to state categorically the IMPOSSIBILITY of God existing??.- He wouldn't be much of a God if you could "FORCE" Him to reveal Himself....in any case He DID reveal Himself - 2000 years ago when He chose to come into His universe as a human being.....like it or not, you HAVE to deal with the historical reality of JESUS CHRIST....

Athiests are polytheists in Lordship as they took atoms and stardust as creators, thus making them worse than idolaters in shirk (polytheism). Because the idolater doesnt believe that his inanimate idol created the world, let alone carved itself. But athiests believe that the atoms of the idol did. And they have a large Hadron collider trying to figure out how their atom god did it.
And they think they are ape mammals, awaiting to vanish into those particle gods of theirs once their despair kicks in. Thus no one ever had the truth, nor was anything right or wrong to them. The cannibal vanishes with his victims, and they with everyone they agreed and disagreed with. Thus doing good was useless as it eventually becomes equal with the evil, and the evil justified, as it becomes equal with the good. And thus athiesm is very dangerous for humans in this life.
They have no Jizyah or protection status in Islam. And it is not lawful to marry their women, or eat the meat they slaughter, same as pagans.

Saying there is no evidence for God does not make you correct.
In fact the man widely regarded as the greatest legal mind who ever lived whose profession it is to decide what constitutes as evidence disagrees with you. (Professor Simon Greenleaf).
What qualifications do you possess which gives you a greater understanding of evidence than he does which would allow your assertion to be taken seriously?

Can I ask your qualifications in the relevant topics here which would give you reasonable authority to tell the greatest legal mind who ever lived that he does not know what evidence is?
Do you realise that just because thinking there is no evidence for God does not make you right?
The fact that there is evidence for God proves you wrong.
From above, the earth does look like a circle stupid.

      Yes attitudes change over time.
      The evidence Greenleaf used doesn't.
The evidence Greenleaf used to draw his conclusion is exactly the same then as it is now.
If anything the same evidence has even greater strength now due to recent archeological discoveries.
So again, what experience and qualifications do you possess which gives you authority to claim the world's greatest legal mind is wrong about what does and does not constitute as evidence?
      I can answer for you.
None! You have no reasonable authority to claim Greenleaf doesn't know what he is talking about.
Only your bias leads you to believe your own unsupported view.
As for Isaiah 40 22, that was metaphorically written.
But maybe your not clever enough to realise that either and you believe it is an actual 10 billion person tent that we are supposed to be living in.

Sorry but you have not given a suitable reason to believe that professor Greenleaf was wrong.
You provided no evidence that the evidence Greenleaf used to reach is conclusion was not reliable.
As I said in my previous reply, it is evident that it is only your bias which leads you to believe he was wrong as the evidence strongly suggests otherwise.

"Though Dawkins wasn’t a part of the interview process, and researchers didn’t ask about him, 48 of the 137 British scientists they spoke to mentioned Dawkins. Of those 48 that referenced him, 80 per cent said they thought that Dawkins misrepresents science and scientists in his books and public speeches, according to the study by Rice University, Texas."

      @mawgans7470 5 лет назад

Euan MacLennan The aim of the God Delusion, as implied by the title, is to prove that believing in God is delusional. There is no point to having a 400-or so page rant about how delusional humans are without why they are delusional. And, whilst I’m a de facto theist, I believe that neither side can be proven true or false, hence why burden really falls on either side. Both sides are making claims that draw away from the most truthful claim, which is ‘I don’t know’.
Now, with a climate-change denier, or a flat-earther, we know (as in we have used scientific methods to reach the conclusion that) that the earth is spherical and climate change exists. So it is logical to assume that the burden of proof falls on climate change deniers or flat earthers, because they are making claims which are in opposition to common knowledge.
Really, when it comes to God, there is no such thing as ‘common knowledge’.
Now, that’s what we really mean when we talk about ‘burden of proof’, because if it did work as ‘you are claiming something exists, which means you must justify it’, then theoretically there would be no need to ask holocaust deniers or climate-change deniers for their proof, because they are literally assuming nothing is there, whilst somebody is claiming there is. But we don’t do that - because these two groups contradict common knowledge, we question them for their proof, rather than those who believe the holocaust did happen and climate change is a thing.

    • @EuanMacLennan
      @EuanMacLennan 5 лет назад

@@mawgans7470 I don't think your analogy works. Yes climate deniers are believing in the non-existence of something - however one would expect certain factors to be the case in a world without climate change - eg no temperature changes year on year which one could demonstrate. And you don't understand what an atheist is. I'm not saying god doesn't exist & neither is dawkins. We reject claims of God due to poor evidence. That doesn't mean we're saying god doesn't exist, no one knows if he does. It's just the evidence for his existence is nonexistent. So it seems unlikely to me that a God exists.

This comment makes me think. You're right. It isn't self-evident that the naturalistic view is the right one. But it's the only one we can find evidence for at the moment. Whether or not there is more to this universe is something we don't know yet, so we have no good reason to just claim there's more, though of course any supernatural dimension might very well exist.

Although the problems in Northern Ireland could be traced back to Religious intolerance hundreds of years ago It is not the main reason for the Community tensions today. The fact is that there are people who want to be British and maintain the Union or Irish and reunite Ireland. There is also a large number of people who might accept either outcome. If everyone could suddenly be transformed into Atheists tomorrow it would not make any difference - it is all about politics and identity.
Religion is just a lazy way of identifying which group they belong to and is not always accurate. Did you know that one of the founding members of the Provisional IRA in the 1970's was a Protestant as mentioned in the recent Spotlight on the Troubles series. Also many people in NI as elsewhere in these islands have no religion but still have political views.

    • @AsFewFalseThingsAsPossible

Does that mean that there is no predictive value in knowing someone's religious beliefs if you are trying to ascertain their attitude to Union for example ? It's clearly not all about politics and identity, unless you include which religion the children have been indoctrinated in as a part of that "identity".

Imagine if a British reporter were to say “today in Northern Ireland there was rioting between British and Irish youths”. That would mean that they were associated in some way with one side. So instead it has become standard to distance themselves by identifying the two sides as Protestant and Catholic or Unionist and Nationalist. The subtext is that no one in N Ireland is really British. Now I know many will say that is true as they were not born in Great Britain but if you ask any Unionist most will say they are British.

@@petercarroll9167 Last bit was cut off. From this distance (NZ), it really does seem that religion is central to the conflict. "Papists", "kneelers". marching, colours such as Orange etc, but what Dawkins is pointing out is that continuing to indoctrinate children with a particular religion is counter productive to peace. The reason is that these two religions do indeed make conflicting existential claims. If the children could be educated in the facts, that there is no evidence for any theistic stance, this would remove barriers and promote peace. I know I don't speak from a deep knowledge about Irish History, but I did watch many episodes of "The Irish RM".
I recall having a brief but heated discussion with supporters on an Lions Tour, (Now called The British and Irish Lions), when I pointed out that Ireland is one of the British Isles, so there was really no need to specify them separately from Britain.

The interviewer's tactics here are pretty clear. He treats Dawkins as if he thinks and does things only for emotional, psychological reasons rather than for logical reasons based on very simple ethics that most of us already understand. This is to undermine the reasons Dawkins has. The interviewer drags out his questions far too long and repeats them then interrupts Dawkins frequently, to minimise the amount of time Dawkins can spend giving clear and complete explanations. He cherry picks quotes out of context with 'you yourself say' in order to create the impression that Dawkins's position is inherently contradictory. He keeps up a calm, almost gentle tone of voice and non-threatening body language while asking questions that imply a very low opinion of the book and of Dawkins, which is insulting. This is, sadly, typical BBC interviewing but odd considering that Mark Urban writes books about military history and must know that many wars have a religious element.

Adam and Eve is a parable of metaphors.
“Adam” translated into English, is “A man.” - Where we (all men) post puberty and adolescence, are Adam (a man) we have therefore changed. We are no longer that young innocent and harmless child of whom we once were. We now have many dishonest and (secretive) immoral thoughts; the demons within us (of which can be extreme) where all such thoughts can lead us into any amount of unruly “Temptation”, also called Satan, the Devil or Lucifer etc. - We have become the “Talking snake” of life. Where “Eve” means “Life.” But we are blind and cannot see ourselves for what we have become…
‘In truth, I tell you, unless a man has been born over again he cannot see the kingdom of God.’
‘But how is it possible’, said Nicodemus, ‘for a man to be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born?’ Jesus answered, ‘In truth I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and spirit.
Flesh can give birth to only flesh; it is spirit that gives birth to spirit. You ought not to be surprised, then, when I tell you that you must be born over again.’ - (at John 3: 3-7) -
“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” - (Jesus, at John 4: 24) -
“In truth I tell you, anyone who gives heed to what I say and puts his trust in him who sent me, has hold of eternal life and does not come up for judgement, but has already passed from death to life.” - (at John 5: 24) -
“Beware of false prophets, men who come to you dressed up as sheep while underneath they are savage wolves. You will recognize them by the fruits they bear.” - (at Matthew 7: 15-16) -
“Any plant that is not of my heavenly Father’s planting will be rooted up. Leave them alone; they are blind guides, and if one blind man guides another they will both fall into the ditch.” - (Matthew 15: 13-14) -
“Do not call any man on earth ‘father’; for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Nor must you be called ‘teacher’; you have one Teacher, the Messiah.” - (Matthew 23: 9-10) -
“I am the light of the world. No follower of mine shall wander in the dark; he shall have the light of life.” - (Jesus, at John 8: 12) -
“Take care that no one misleads you: For many will come claiming my name…”
    - (Matthew 24: 4) -
“Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men’s love for one another will grow cold. But the man who holds out to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the earth as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” - (Matthew 24: 11-14) -
“You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - (John 8: 32) -
“When you pray, go into a room by yourself, and shut the door. Pray to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father who sees what is secret will reward you.
In your prayers do not go babbling on like the heathen, who imagine that the more they say the more likely they are to be heard.
Do not imitate them. Your Father knows what your needs are before you ask him.
This is how you should pray:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven,
Give us today our daily bread,
Forgive us the wrong we have done, as we have forgiven those who have wronged us.
And do not bring us to the test, but save us from the evil one.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever.
    Amen.
For if you forgive others the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, then the wrongs you have done will not be forgiven by your Father.” - (Matthew 6: 6-15) -
“Pass no judgement, and you will not be judged. For as you judge others, so you will yourselves be judged, and whatever measure you deal out to others will be dealt back to you.” - (Matthew 7: 1-2) -
“Truly I tell you; if anyone obeys my teaching he shall never know what it is to die.” - (John 8: 51) -
“Always treat others as you would like them to treat you: that is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” - (Matthew 7: 12-14) -
“I am the gate; anyone who comes into the fold through me shall be safe. He shall go in and out and shall find pasturage.
The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness.” - (John 10: 9-10) -
“I am the resurrection and I am life. If a man has faith in me, even though he dies, he shall come to life; and no one who is alive and has faith shall ever die.” - (John 11: 25-26) -
“I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world” - (John 12: 47) -
“Whoever then will acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my Father in heaven; and whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” - (Matthew 10: 32-34) -
“I am the way; I am the truth and I am life; no one comes to the Father except by me. If you knew me you would know my Father too.” - (John 14: 6-7) -
“The disciples came and asked Jesus, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, It would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!’” - (Matthew 18: 1-7) -

Yes! 100x YES! I am sick our religion in schools my son was sent home with an illustrated booklet about the Easter story, it was presented as fact, they were read stories and given fun games to play and chocolate to eat, I consider this indoctrination, it's bad enough parents get to do it unopposed, but making it a part of school mean s they are either subject to it against your wishes or excluded and singled out if you ask they be removed, even then classrooms are unlikely to be free from it, I remember being shouted at in primary school for criticizing god and religion, I was a third generation atheist, so it wasn't condoned by my parents, or theirs, I remember in high school being threatened with expulsion on the grounds of racism, crime? I told the foreign muslim girl I didn't believe in God when asked about religion, to which she replied I was going to hell, I was insensitive for not "respecting her beliefs" her gleefully telling me how she believes I deserve eternal torture, not a concern. It's backwards, teach them critical thinking and ban any positive discussion of religion in classrooms, correct kids when they recite parental religious indoctrination as fact and explain that it is a myth with no basis in reality! Since the burden of proof is on the religion, it is not indoctrination! If your god wants to be featured in class, then he will present reasonable physical evidence! Books written or dictated by crazy people who wander in desserts, take drugs and/or are known paedophiles and slave be owners are NOT evidence, nor is Jesus's face appearing on your morning toast or any feeling you have!

The best ever argument against religion, comes from the Lord God and through the voice of Jesus Immanuel. When he already warned us against religion almost 2,000 years ago! - We learn through him that all religions, including Christianity, are led by only fake prophets! He was sent to teach you and me and all of us, just how to pray to God (safely in the secret place) and how we must always live our lives, for the sake of true peace and humanity…
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” - (Jesus Immanuel, at Matthew 4: 19) -
“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” - (at John 4: 24) -
With regard to all the priests and preachers of all religions that are now rife among us, he said this: “Beware of false prophets, men who come to you dressed up as sheep while underneath they are savage wolves. You will recognize them by the fruits they bear.” - (at Matthew 7: 15-16) -
“Do not call any man on earth ‘father’; for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Nor must you be called ‘teacher’; you have one Teacher, the Messiah.” - (Matthew 23: 9-10) -
“The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness.” - (John 10: 10) -
“Take care that no one misleads you: For many will come claiming my name…”
    - (Matthew 24: 4) -
“Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men’s love for one another will grow cold. But the man who holds out to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the earth as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” - (Matthew 24: 11-14) -
“I am the way; I am the truth and I am life; no one comes to the Father except by me. If you knew me you would know my Father too.” - (John 14: 6-7) -
“When you pray, go into a room by yourself, and shut the door.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven,
Give us today our daily bread,
And forgive us the wrong we have done, as we have forgiven those who have wronged us.
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” - (Matthew 7: 11-12) -
“I am the gate; anyone who comes into the fold through me shall be safe. He shall go in and out and shall find pasturage.” - (John 10: 9) -
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” - (Matthew 7: 21) -
“I am the resurrection and I am life. If a man has faith in me, even though he dies, he shall come to life; and no one who is alive and has faith shall ever die.” - (John 11: 25-26) -
“I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world” - (John 12: 47) -
“Whoever then will acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my Father in heaven; and whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” - (Matthew 10: 32-34) -
“The disciples came and asked Jesus, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!’” - (Matthew 18: 1-7) -
“Though many are called, few are chosen,” - (Matthew 22: 14) -
“An expert in the law, [a leading religious Pharisee] tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. That is the greatest commandment. It comes first. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. Everything in the Law and the Prophets hangs on these two commandments.’” - (Matthew 22: 35-40) -
“There is no greater love than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends.” - (John 15: 13) -
"Stay awake, and pray that you may be spared the test: The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." - (Matthew 26: 41) -
“When he comes who is the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all the truth.” - (John 16: 13) -
“Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And be assured, I am with you always, to the end of time.” (Matthew 28: 20) -
“One of the criminals who hung there also mocked and taunted him: ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself, and us!’ But the other criminal rebuked him. ‘Have you no fear of God? You are under the same sentence as he. For us it is plain justice; we are paying the price for our misdeeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.’ And he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ He answered, “I tell you this: today you shall be with me in Paradise.’” - (Luke 23: 39-43) -
“For it is my Father’s will that everyone who looks upon the Son and puts his faith in him shall possess eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day” - (John 6: 40) -
Yours always, in true Spirit and in our one given prayer, 2gointruth, Wednesday the 18th of September, 2019: - (Matthew 5:14-16) - Where every minute (of both day and night) can be a new beginning for any one of us. Let it always be you.

Let's separate the superstition in religion from the ethics on the one hand and the politics on the other. As far as I'm concerned there is considerable ethical wisdom - albeit in one religion more than the other - in religion, unless it becomes a set of irrational rules one has to adhere to (dress codes, dietary rules, the supposed inferiority of women, circumcision, etc.). As for politics, as soon as a large group of people (men, mainly) get together and organize themselves, politics polutes the air almost immediately.
Science is not alll that different, allthough some would love to believe that the logical argument always wins in the end (happy ending). In that case we could argue that scientific paradigmas sometimes seem to have the same political implications as religious dogmas, in determining who gets research funds, managerial power in universities and so on. There was a series on the BBC - I thought it was in the nineties, called "Heretics" that showed how dissidents in science were treated by their learned collegues, being all but 'excommunicated' by them, while in some cases being right (If I recall correctly there was this Australian MD who discovered helicobacter pylori and the correct treatment, yet being shunned by scientists). In short, sometimes zealous belief in the power of science tends to have orthodox religious traits.
What is regarded as superstition could (maybe should) be perceived as a set of metaphors by which moral lessons were being taught, not as explanatory myths or absolute explanations.
I've always remembered one particular sentence (soory, don't know who said it and where) in the Bible that says: "Explore everything and conserve (only) the good." Just dismissing everything about religion as superstition is selling some aspects of religion short.
And then there's the matter of the transcendent, which is seemingly outrageous and ridiculous. Well, if we look at present assumptions in quantum physics, we can see that what is deemed insane may sometimes hold some truth, so let's not dismiss it alltogether. Sometimes perception of truth is limited by our imagination.

Atheism doesn't need to, or ever claims to have to, be proven. Atheism doesn't claim to know EVERYTHING. Its the opposite. Atheism is believing when there's evidence. There are payments/repentance need to be done if you wronged someone else so its not just apology that will get God to enter you into heaven.
In Islam, if someone is murdered, that person will get justice in the afterlife regardless whether the murderer apologizes or not.
And lastly, an all forgiving God would forgive a person whose sins were to reach the skies. But a God that is not merciful or forgiving, would not forgive someone for the same amount of sins which then creates the problem of 'why would I accept a God that have a hard time or doubtful in forgiving people?'

[Adrienne Mayor-evolutionist] This lady was born in 1946 and is an historian and author who investigates ancient science and interprets it all from an evolutionary perspective. She states that Dragon legends or stories told by the American Indians; are really inspired by dinosaur bones which the ancient Indians dug up. This is an unwise hypothetical observation which has no grounds or reality. Now the American Indians are very superstitious and will not handle or disturb bones found in the dirt as they believe that spirits are attached to these bones; and that they would bring bad luck upon themselves, or even death. All across America, the Indians tell stories on their reservations concerning their ancestors’ past encounters with Dragons [Dinosaurs] going back only a few thousand years. Mayor makes out that the Indians have made up stories after finding numerous dinosaur bones, hallucinating and dreaming events to tell them around their camp fires, as if this was possible! [Not unlike evolutionists who have made-up their own stories related to the theory of origins] These Indians are historians. Similar stories are told all around the world by well-known historians who put pen to paper and described what they saw, relating to dragons. Are we to call Grecian and Roman historians liars? You see: the implications of recognizing that dinosaurs were contemporary with humans only a few thousand years ago, destroys the whole evolutionary tower of time. Darwin’s Tree of Life then becomes obsolete.
    Adrienne Mayor’s Assumption
Mayor’s views are based on her preconceived ideas related to evolution like all those involved in evolutionary fields of pseudoscience. She assumes that Darwin’s book of imaginary evolution is true and that the Bible is not the word of God!

Evolutiona is a theory. But the problem is that people don't have a clear understanding of what a "theory" actually is or means. Thus they conflate the word theory with "hypothesis".
Evolution is a theory and also a fact. Both are not mutually exclusive

@@randomserbianguy5677wrong on all accounts, obviously your a religious person, and not very educated, I strongly suggest you do more than read the Bible and or listen to whoever, evolution is not a theory, but when what's his name, published his book, the title was "the Theory of evolution, but there's so much scientific evidence etc, anyways, religion is a man made conscripts...

@@garyjohnson1466 my guy I am an atheist. I was just pointing out the difference between how a regular person uses the word theory vs how science does.
People have this false notion that if something is a theory that it cannot be true or isn't a fact, which is false. Like Dawkins said, evolution is a theory and so is gravity, but you wouldn't find people trying to jump of a building to disprove it

@@randomserbianguy5677 my sincere apologies, my friend, you are correct, although there’s so much scientific facts, it it’s hard to fathom how anyone could deny evolution,
But just as Professor Dawkin pointed out that he not a complete atheist, but is pretty sure God doesn’t exist, which makes him 98% agnostic, as I am
but the strange things is,the more we look out into a spending universe,an part of the Milky Way galaxy body, that will someday collide with another galaxy, we are like some conscious microbes in a bubble, on a planet we call earth, which is part of a universe we call the milky way perhaps we are like in Dr. Suez, “Horton hears a who”, which their world existed on a flower, just a theory…lol
