The fact that the Deathstalker has "rockets" and the Vigilante has a rotary cannon has me very, very concerned about the possibility that WGCB is trying to "test" them in WW2 to eventually force them into WW2 completely at some time down the road and sabotage it since Cold War has not become the "future of World of Tanks on Console" like they expected it to be. They're too arrogant to admit that Cold War was a monumental mistake that has ended up worsening the game overall ... so now, instead of admitting defeat and trying to fix it, they've now resorted to (in my opinion) attempted sabotage of WW2 with tanks like the Deathstalker and T249 and bring the game, as a whole, down with them. They know that this game is utterly hopeless at this point, so they're trying to profit off of its destruction as much as they can before the game completely goes under. I have zero hopes for their "possible adjustments" to the T249. To me, they're talking BS ... they're just saying what we want to hear but won't actually do anything when the time comes. If (and that's a COLOSSAL if) they decide to nerf this tank, I'd be absolutely floored and pretty much tell all of the whiners who would complain by saying "bUt I PaID fOR ThiS TaNK" to SUCK IT. These players KNEW what they were getting themselves into. But I honestly have zero hope that anything of notable significance will be done. I won't believe it till I see it.
It's so nice to see WG wanting to give brand new players a tier 10 tank that they only need to purchase instead of grinding so they can get the whole experience of the game play with the push of the gold😅 button
I’m convinced this is a marketing tactic, getting everyone to buy this “overpowered” light tank only for them to nerf it a couple of weeks later when sales go down.
thats if you believe they nerf premiums, they haven't done so since the armadillo, I would be happy to see a nerf to this tank, and I would not request a refund (even though it was gifted to me) because the tank would still be unique and interesting to play even if balanced properly
A token response from the live stream saying a "strike team" is looking into changes frankly is an insult. But they wont dare say nerf since that would incite refund requests. You in this video have suggested some of the best changes I could see on this tank and idk why an entire team can't figure this out but one guy can. (Let alone the multiple people saying similar in the discord)

I have a rule not to open my wallet either till the game is fixed and I've been waiting, my reviews come from gifted tanks or earned tanks, or if I earned enough gold by playing to buy one here and there, I would love to open my wallet back up to keep up with the game and support it but it doesn't deserve that yet or potentially ever sadly

I'm always for new maps, but I also must mention I'm not bothered by the maps we have now, and we have gotten new maps like Nebelburg, Vineyards, and Halfaya Pass, as well as a new community map being worked on, so new maps are always coming as well as returning old maps as they update them.
@ not than many. Most maps aren’t new and maps u mention are what 5 yrs old. When was the last new map ? Most maps ppl just go to the same old places and fight there and the rng comes in. New and bigger maps and game play like pc does now a then like what was it frontline? Where u have missions to do and u can respawn so many times in that game would be nice? Crews would be nice or at very least add 3 more skills to commanders. Add more skins to tanks and commanders u can earn. He’ll add bond equipment and give us 1 more equipment spot at least. Making the red outliner a piece of equipment sucks. But damn I am tired of old maps and until the start adding newer maps and combine the cwt with ww2 I am not spending money. I would probably stop selling cwt’s I have sold nearly everyone and have 100+ mil in silver. And I would play them since t10 tanks from ww2 are in there they can do it and add new tiers to play but they won’t so I won’t pay for anything. And the new tank gifted to me I will and have played games when I just won’t to do crazy fun shite. I have only won 3 games out of 10 with that tank and was in all ten games for either all of it or close 3 games I was out in first 3 minutes of game play. And those are actually the games my team won. The way I see it if u don’t like it sell it and play t3-t7 and you won’t worry about it and maybe more ppl laying lower t’s I won’t be bottom t all the time at t6and t7 and I can build more commanders up faster. To me it’s just a hilarious tank to play with and against. Learn to laugh and have fun and it’s a game nothing more. That’s what that tank makes me remember
And because of the chip damage, even on non-pens it's what, 300-600 damage? And you have over 2000 rounds so it doesn't even matter if you 'waste' your mags
As a mostly Light and Medium tank player the T249 has broken tiers 8-10. There's always at least 2 on each team and no Light tank and probably just about all Mediums stands any chance against one of these unless you catch one on near zero HP. And even then you've probably got at best a 50/50 chance to win the engagement. Literally no point playing any Light and most Mediums in the top 3 tiers. I didn't play the game more than once or twice a year for several years but have been playing regularly again. With these things everywhere I've moved the game to my external hard drive and won't be playing for the forseeable future. Might even finally uninstall. Just sick of WG's greed making them put toxic premium tank after toxic premium tank in the game. Honestly surprised they haven't removed the tech trees altogether. They clearly want lobbies full of nothing but premiums. Long gone are the days where premiums were like a mid upgrade tech tree tank but were good for making XP or Silver. And I wouldn't hold my breath on WG nerfing these things. It's popular and making them money and they don't nerf tanks that make them money.
Here’s a balance idea: 1: Remove the bleed-through damage because it’s frickin stupid. If solid rounds don’t penetrate, they shouldn’t do damage. By the same logic, why don’t I get pity damage whenever I don’t pen a shot with my E-100’s AP rounds? 2: Reduce the damage per shot from 25 to 5. That would give it a potential clip damage of 960, which is still respectable but isn’t enough to completely erase everything in seconds. In exchange, maybe buff the HP a little. These two changes alone would make this tank a very high risk/high reward vehicle. Right now it’s just no risk/high reward/no skill.
That is good but I think (hear me out) they could give it 190 pen like on pc for thier auto cannon tanks and no bleed through damage. Then it would be more like a 13 105 with that 1k damage clip potential. And would also have enough pen to fight back.
I'd say the pen should be lower at 150 since the time to unload the full clip is drastically shorter than the Czech lights, maybe also make the HE round deal around 7 damage with around 45 pen. It's hard to tell what they were thinking, outside of lining their pockets, as there's a clear representation of a vehicle like this on the PC version including the test mode that came before the Czech lights. This is not how you make a counter to some of the more powerful tanks in the game, granted artillery needed a counter since their HP buffs from arty 2.0.
I hope they leave the tank alone for this reason alone that it breaks up the boredom of the game. The maps are so damn old ppl know where to go on every map and it’s just an rng game and it’s boring now. The only thing they should do is limit them to one per platoon and 1 maybe 2 to a game per team. And that’s all they should do because I find the tank a laugh out loud hilarious tank to play and fight against. I laughed so hard taking ppl out and when I played against it. It was hilarious. Even u laughed your ass off in the review so u know it’s funny as hell
@sgtstryker1018 You have to realize that people find enjoyment in many different ways. Some people enjoy turning their brains off and just go with the flow, heck even I like doing that too in other games that I'm more casual in. But others just want a balanced game that encourages variety and teamwork. That's how I saw CW and WW2 modes to be, but it seems they are trying to slowly push out the 2nd group. Not to mention, you can easily appease both groups if you gave any effort to consider them.

Where's the outrage in Star Citizen with people buying $1500 ships 😂? Nobody is nerfing something that expensive or it'll affect future purchases on that business model. Its a light tank, it inherently has better concealment so idk why the complaint there 🤷
tanks can sell without being OP, this consistent defense for "its a business" is always so dismissive to player concerns and it really annoys me when its other players saying it it makes no sense to me. Why would I be outraged about a game I don't play too? As for the concealment criticism you misunderstand my point, yes its a light tank, but compared to the other light tanks it is the best concealed. No problem there, but it doesn't have low view range to compensate like the others do as a fundamental rule of the game and balance, while the other lights with similar but worse camo have 360-390 view range this thing gets 410, its not fair and inconsistent on top of all the other things this tank has going for it. (I said this in the video but maybe typed out here will get that point across) And no one is arguing the tank isn't situational either, but when its in that situation its unbelievably OP with its DPS and such, its just not fair no matter if its only against certain tanks, that's not a good reason to allow it to rip apart tanks in seconds just because its not going to do so in every tank. I really struggle to see how players are excusing this power just its low pen, its still too much. plus yay chip damage negates the idea that its useless like we all thought it would be. You don't even have to pen to do damage to tanks too.

It will just be a tank used when you want to get rid of frustration come January 2025 u will see this tank every now and then. Also IRL the gun on the T249 was limited to 48 round bursts for heat management reasons.

The tank can be fun without being broken, that's also an option btw
