    Thanks for showing your way, I apreciate it very much :-) I watched all your video's and I am practicing all along in forextester and it seems to work very well. Sometimes the drawdown goes up as you've expressed, but also gets down. I wonder if you have a reason not set a SL to f.e. 200 pips for a trade. A minus trade then probably is hedged multiple times and thus less lots are played when the SL hits. I have experienced that when I set a SL my profits are less with a substancial relative amount, is that also your experience?. I also tryied with a TP of say 40 pips, this works well too. I find it difficult to optimize your system on, gap width, virtual SL/TP or real SL/TP ... could you elaborate a little more on the characterisics of the system and maybe even some ways to optimize. Of course everyone has different settings, so I am not so interested in the numbers themselves but more the way how to optimize. Also optimizing for different Timeframes I am interested in. I see you tend to have a bigger gap on bigger timeframes, is this true? Is there a way to measure some statistics. Thanks again for all the effort, keep on going

    Love your videos. So to sum up your options from here: you would use available units to either outright sell and then a buy stop above, or buy with a sell stop below, or maybe even just a buy stop and a sell stop waiting for the market to go in a certain direction before placing the corresponding hedge order to balance? These options could be helpful to show a trader what they could do from here. Thank you!

    Hi chad...thx for your beautiful hedging strategy. I trade it since some weeks now with big success. It got me out of former bad trades i was in...my style of trading it is entry and target at big and half round numbers (00 and 50). They act like a magnet! Wish good trades to all✌

    Sir it is ok to hedging in high impact news Specially in gold?
    Or hedging in gold when the newyork and london is open

    • @Dave-pc9ux
      @Dave-pc9ux 2 месяца назад

      @@lewiglenismusic662 exactly gold is very volatile.. This is the best strategy for gold.. Specially on high impact news.. Imagine few minutes from the high impact news, u place a buy stop and sell stop for let say 30-50 pips distance from the market price.. And if the news come and the price flacktuate it will go one side only.. Then close with profit.. But if the both side is taken just wait the price will get slow to trimmed your position..
      The tools is already there we just think how to use it properly.. And same time there is demo account we can use to practise so less worries

      if you have a 10,000 account and put a cap on each side at 5 to 1 that means can go to 50,000 max. However if you are now at 40,000 after a trim that's 50,000 - 40,000 = 10,000 left to hit your max.

    The one calling this stupid should know better. This is forex and not options. what he said is correct on options but slightly different on forex. Here gamma and delta are not considered to enter a trade. They will not eat your profits. You can fire up your chart and enter a trade the only thing to mind is overnight commission. spread is negligible. Therefore instead of embarrassing yourself here, refresh your feeds on wall street bets and find a thread that suits you, otherwise go back to the wendys dumpster and continue prior activities.

      @@Number1RichPianaFan ah k, well, i guess it can be like that for a bit. So i longed nas at 18280 last night, and was very very wrong, my hedge got activated, (sell), i rode down, closed the sell, and now nas is sorta retracing so i have managed to squeeze my hedge, and now im looking at either net breaking even, or even making money off a losing trade. And i haven't even trimmed yet.. i think in terms of this hedging method, squeezing is like the magic word, you could even exit the hedge at a place where price would bounce, sorta where nas is rn and get a great squeeze. ideally i would not be wrong at all in the first place, im working on that too.
      I saw a comment from a 22 year seasoned trader, he just trend trades and then hedges his losses.

    • @whatislifebro
      @whatislifebro 2 месяца назад

      @@Number1RichPianaFan On technical terms yeah your hedge wont change anything, your loss will still just be your usual loss... but I entered nas short at around 18280, last night. I put my sell stop hedge in where my sl would be. My trade was sooo so wrong, my sell was activated and i rode price down to the next area price 'could' bounce, i then closed the sell profit, did not trim, i managed to get a few squeezes in within the period of a few hours, and then, i closed my negative nas buy. Overall i actually made a profit off a losing trade, because i was able to squeeze. So i guess the trick is, to close the hedge where price could bounce, trim, and then squeeze, you can turn a negative trade into a smaller loss, be, or even a win like today. Ideally i am not wrong initially, i am working on that too, but hedging is just a safety net, and a way to potentially riggle out of a loss, i mean this is how the big players do it... sorta.
