This is what happens when a company decides to listen, actually hear customer feedback and deliver on promises they don't speak about until its ready to sell. You won't get that with a company that practices bureaucracy just to be included in countries that require, so much red tape, that their own internal testing blocks the development of features they'd otherwise deliver on. Apple is the king of this set back, and Samsung as well as Google are close behind. I'll say this. North America is not the place to go to if you want innovation on the tech side for anything. And this product, is quite seriously proving that standard more and more as being true. Max charger Samsung will give you for instance, 35 watts for a smaller battery capacity because of international restrictions on their inventive capabilities. Newer, unheard of companies that need brand recognition, will always over achieve what Samsung can never deliver on. And the sad thing is, Samsung isn't even taking notes on what other Chinese flagships are doing. China itself is killing the competition of the tech industry with offerings that only are available in Asian markets that are more open to change and pushing for better results. Say what you will about their governmental style, they get things done. And that's what we pay for at the end of the day. I find it, like many others, genuinely difficult to choose between the Fold 6 and the V3. I’m coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the size of the iPhone bothers me as I don’t have large hands, but I don’t want to give up a larger smartphone display. That’s why the Fold 6 is quite appealing to me. After some analysis, I came up with the following comparison. The advantages of one device are often significant disadvantages of the competitor. It really comes down to which pros and cons matter more to you personally, in terms of which device would make you happier in the end. Samsung +Better-tuned camera photos +Longer-lasting battery despite technically smaller size +Better gaming performance despite using the same Snapdragon, but running about 4°C cooler at max temperature +The display dims less frequently under warm sunlight +Significantly better speakers (Especially important since, in my opinion, a tablet shouldn’t sound bad if you use it consistently) +More refined software features -Unfortunately, a more reflective screen -A significantly more noticeable crease -Worse low-light and zoom camera performance -Slower charging -Worse water resistance Honor +Thinner, but only without considering the camera bump +Less noticeable crease +Less reflective screen indoors +Faster-charging battery +Better water resistance +Super-fast charging -Photos often look strangely filtered/processed -Phone gets very hot under full load -Average gaming performance for the Gen 3 -Better display brightness, but barely visible outdoors and dims quickly under heat -Very disappointing speakers due to the thin design (Especially noticeable when coming from an iPhone Pro Max, which sounds even better than a Samsung S24 Ultra) -Somewhat uninspired and heavily Apple-inspired software Personal Preferences Slim vs. wider design Squared vs. rounded corners Feel free to share your thoughts! :)
You missed one thing Samsung phones will never be better than iphones because they still are distorted at higher volumes from 80% and higher The iPhone just slaps it's super loud super clear and No distortion whatsoever 2022 I upgraded to the 14 promax from my IPhone x max which tells you a lot about Samsung as well the technology is there but apple is able to Get rid of distortion 4 years later it is but Samsung is still having distortion at higher volumes on the S24 ultra the technology is there but apple is able to do it only but not Samsung the S24 ultra still has really bad distortion at high volumes It really wouldn't surprise me if Samsung never fixes it because they haven't fixed it for so long apple has had this technology for over 2 years and Samsung is still using the same old technology they used from the Galaxy S10 still distorted as all hell
I mean Hell look at the hyper OS on newer xaiomi phones It's still not anywhere near the iPhone 14 and onwards for point 22 and on words but it's definitely better than Samsung's phones they still have mad distortion still to this day Even at 80% to 100% samsung S24 ultra phones and budget and higher end phones like the s And a line and so on haven't had that for years like AKG is on newer Samsung phones from s20 and note 20 and onwards but that's not really saying much because that isn't really that impressive it's not that much better it seems like Samsung doesn't give a shit about sound otherwise they would've Implemented these technologies years ago And they would have done it years ago like apple I mean the technology is there but Samsung isn't able to do it that doesn't make sense Samsung is just like Joel from the last of us so stuck in their ways

They simply not do it, because it's not worth it.. to sell 5million phones not their target, they even discontinued the iPhone mini because of low sales, and even that had 10-15million sales (but compared to their 240million yearly sales, that is just 4-5%, what is poor if you only have 4 different model.. all other models sold in about 30%, what is 70-80million at least..) not everyone selling mainly $150 phones like Android manufacturers, for them even a few million flagship sales is a big profit, but between 240million $1000 phones, that another 5million sales is nearly nothing..

I hate to hurst your bubble, but no one cares. Foldable are not that popular and a bifold phone definitley would not pop up on anyone's radar. Why would they care anyway when Samsung has the best software for multi-tasking on any phone.
@@jordanjackson8873 lol i didn't care for Foldable for the first 3 generations, but now that i use a Foldable myself i can never come back to a legacy snap phone ever again. The first triple-fold is expensive but once Xiaomi/Oppo/Vivo/Samsung follow the triple-fold trend then price will definitely go down at a surprising rate, it's always that way with tech. And it can even cost less for manufacturers as triple-fold only require 1 screen + 1 circuit board instead of 2 screen + 2 boards. As for the radar, 4 MILLIONS people already bought that Huawei in the first 12h of pre-order so it's under a looooooot of people's radar, and it's all over the Tech world now so it's in everyone's face today ;)
@@jordanjackson8873 It's a niche product but there is definitely demand. I am a lifelong apple user and I have been needing a phone, that can expand to be an Ipad on demand. I know that this is still a far away future because both IOS and android are not dedicated workplace operating systems but innovation is always needed. It's getting closer and closer. The fact that samsung and other brands put in $ on R&D tells enough that foldable phones are here to stay.
Ever since magic 5 pro got released, Honor has been killing it. Better offerings, compared to Samsung's, in every category. Insane how good of a value any Honor model is, honestly. Huawei was one the most innovative smartphone company but unfortunately sansction forced innovative company to shut down and reduced competition in the market and now samsung and apple are just being lazy without competition. I wish huawei could come back again and rule the market.
Huawei was sansctioned by US and was shut down before that huawei was the one doing everything in first place before samsung and apple and change the market. Mobile phone market competition in the world would have been very different in the presence of huawei.
huawei has released some great phones and the foldables are no exception, I still own the mate xs and it's amazing.. the major problem is the lack of google services but you can get around that.. btw, Honor brand was part of Huawei and they still collaborate (not officially though)
@@drmonstervibes i know thses things and i am talking about the same thing. I am just telling if huawei was in competition then smartphone market would have been very different. Now apple and samsung has monopoly which wouldn't be the case if huawei was in the market.
Does anyone know if the Honor Magic V3 is also compatible with the Windows app Smartphone-Link? Is it also possible to copy text on the phone and paste it on the PC?
The form factor of this Honor is for me (I mean for me) the ideal for a Fold, it is better than Samsung's, Samsung should seriously move its buttocks. On the other hand, I find that the selfie 🕳 camera of the internal screen is very badly positioned. Also, the biggest problem of Honor is the regular and punctual software monitoring, Honor smartphones, even ultra high-end very often receive the new versions of Android almost 1 year after everyone else, and that's very very bad when you put almost $2000 in a smartphone. However it's true that like many, I prefer the format of the external screen of the Honor, but that doesn't automatically make it the better format, and contrary to what many think, there are also quite a few people who like the format of the Samsung. And in reality, the screens of this Honor are not better and brighter than those of the Fold 6, and the photo-video quality of this Honor is, really meh !
honestly the only thing stopping from buying this is the holepunch camera on the inner screen, once you get used to proper full-screen you can't go back to having holes in the display
I have this phone, and the 4 years of updates dont bother me as ill most likely upgrade to their next foldable when it comes out, so at max ill have the phone 2 years anyways!
Wish I could grab this one. Typing on my Zfold 6 now, but very bored with Samsung after buying every zfold since the 3. I assume the global version would work with Verizon.
Problem is no major carrier hold this phone in the US right now! Buying an unlocked phone proved to have some issues with visual voice mail and reception as well. In the US Samsung is the only way to go right now, all major carrieers have great Fold 6 offers including trade in. I was able to get the Fold 6 on Verizon for $1K only with iPhone 14 Pro trade in. Would love to try the Honor if it's available and sponsored by US carriers. The tune the software to get the best reception on their network

-A significantly more noticeable crease
-Worse low-light and zoom camera performance
-Slower charging
-Worse water resistance
Honor
+Thinner, but only without considering the camera bump
+Less noticeable crease
+Less reflective screen indoors
+Faster-charging battery
+Better water resistance
+Super-fast charging
-Photos often look strangely filtered/processed
-Phone gets very hot under full load
-Average gaming performance for the Gen 3
-Better display brightness, but barely visible outdoors and dims quickly under heat
-Very disappointing speakers due to the thin design (Especially noticeable when coming from an iPhone Pro Max, which sounds even better than a Samsung S24 Ultra)
-Somewhat uninspired and heavily Apple-inspired software
Personal Preferences
Slim vs. wider design
Squared vs. rounded corners

I mean Hell look at the hyper OS on newer xaiomi phones It's still not anywhere near the iPhone 14 and onwards for point 22 and on words but it's definitely better than Samsung's phones they still have mad distortion still to this day Even at 80% to 100% samsung S24 ultra phones and budget and higher end phones like the s And a line and so on haven't had that for years like AKG is on newer Samsung phones from s20 and note 20 and onwards but that's not really saying much because that isn't really that impressive it's not that much better it seems like Samsung doesn't give a shit about sound otherwise they would've Implemented these technologies years ago And they would have done it years ago like apple I mean the technology is there but Samsung isn't able to do it that doesn't make sense Samsung is just like Joel from the last of us so stuck in their ways
you can turn on performance mode. temp is similar across the phones. unfortunately Samsung lost this time.
How is IP48 worse than IPX8?
I like the look of Z Fold 6. It looks more professional and inspires confidence.
@@rileybusse9351 iPhone 15 Pro Max has lens flare it's super obvious especially when facing light bulbs.. It still haven't catch up with S24.. Samsung handles light reflection much better than iPhone 15 Pro Max.. And not to mention it overheats like crazy by charging at just.. 22 watt? Really?
It would probably take Apple another ten thousand years to build something like this. Very impressive.
Are u stupid?
wrong. they could get it done in 6 months. but they don't bcoz apply fan bois are still gobbling up all the shitty incremental upgrades. So there is currently no need for it
And it’ll cost 10.000$
Thank you dub very well video
If I got honor's pen, will this be good for heavy note taking use?
Does it have a crease? How many years will the update be available?
I like the quality of your videos 👏
This flagship is lit. One love from Nigeria ❤️
This is not only a Samsung killer. This can be an iPhone killer too.
Lol, iPhone beats this cheap chinese toy in every department, easily.
Nice! The only things and scares me about picking up a phone like the Honor is that I'm really hard on phones. I usually have to get 2 or 3 repairs between upgrades. Rare phones like this might be hard to get parts for and have serviced. Really nice phone though.
Where am I buy this?
It's so similar to my OnePlus Open other than it being thinner and a tad bigger screen. Also the crease on the Open is also is very unnoticeable. Ohh the price if you can catch it on a Prime day for $1200.00. I'm sure the second gen Open will be awesome tech.
Looks amazing but I wouldn’t be surprised if the next is out before I see this in Europe 😢
When will the Honor phone be available in the United States?
Where do I find that wallpaper for honor
How many years of security updates? Honor is a sub brand of Huawei?
Excited since the first zfold to see foldable phones coming and at same time, this screen right here on the zfold at 3:41 is exactly why i didnt buy one yet. I mean it look so plastic and cheap.
Samsung much better still in the software Department
Samsung is holding us hostage 😢 I feel like we're turning into apple puppets 🤧
Best software but slow to improve like other Asian companies
Samsung is just like Toyota cars, unbeatable!
you hv to try magic portal
The gap is closing.
In theory yes, practically no@@AyOri1991
If the inner screen breaks atleast you still have that normal sized outer screen
Samsung high price heating king
That is how a foldable is made. 🎉🎉 incredible
How many years of OS update?

Really looking forward to seeing how Honor will handle a tri-fold phone.
Will replace my Z fold 5 with that for sure!
Samsung is getting spanked right now, SMDH. The Honor is definitely making waves.
does it have Ai?

Hey Zaryab, i've been watching you for years now but i was just wondering why your mic quality seems to have got worse over the last year or so?
Not a criticism, just something i wanted to make you aware of incase you weren't. If you go back and listen to your mic quality in some of your older video's and then come back to this one and your last few, the difference is noticeable.
samsung litteraly got destroyed with the Huawei Mate XT, can't wait for all Android brands to follow the triple-fold trend.
It folds twice - It's a bifold not trifold.
@@MancUnionMr i guess triple-fold here mean 3 times the size, like when you say "two-fold" it means twice and not 3 times :D
As a kid I have always visioned the future where you just take some device out of your pocket, unfold it to be your digital workplace and pack back in when finishing your work.
Once you include the fact that you still get a protective case, screen protector already applied, charger in box, Honor is a no brainer really.
are they bringing this to a USA retailer? This the only thing stopping me from buying.
now give it to jerry rig everything and lets compare durability :3 cause thats what really matters to me with folding phones
I'm not into foldable but gotta say this is an impressive one
Is this phone available in the US?
The fact that a Chinese 2nd/3rd tier cellphone maker is at least 2 to 4 generations ahead of Samsung… 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Awesome 👍 😎
hi, thanks for the video, have you or anyone out there use Honor Magic V3 with Android Auto?
I am going to buy this.
Can you use this phone in the USA?
Such a good fold and the phone starts to lag at 8:47 when try to open the app drawer..
If it’s such a good fold please do a durability test against the Samsung.. Lets see how well it can hold up
I wish they had honor phones in the US
I almost went blind when you increased the brightness.

Huawei was one the most innovative smartphone company but unfortunately sansction forced innovative company to shut down and reduced competition in the market and now samsung and apple are just being lazy without competition. I wish huawei could come back again and rule the market.
Sanction? Who is that??? Their thinness will break ..way over hyped...optimized ???? Too hyped empty term

I would get the magic but it's not available for Verizon or the US
That’s innovation. Huawei is the best ❤
Could be my next phone after Fold 4
OOOooooh, this is why samsung is about to do the Fold 6 ultra "Slim"
Honor magic7 Pro and Vivo X200 Ultra will also be good rivals against Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
😬😬😬😬😬😬
honestly the only thing stopping from buying this is the holepunch camera on the inner screen, once you get used to proper full-screen you can't go back to having holes in the display
What a brilliant smart foldable phone, now I’m interested in Honor smartphones, good 👍 video cheers
What hype and you won't say shit when it breaks
That's it I'm going to get honor.
I have this phone, and the 4 years of updates dont bother me as ill most likely upgrade to their next foldable when it comes out, so at max ill have the phone 2 years anyways!
Is this an Android Enterprise compatible device?
Wow you've uploaded 5k videos
I don't mind the narrow screen on the fold 6 because now I don't have to resize my keyboard smaller to make one hand typing easier
Good luck getting it serviced 😂
Samsung is the same...
@Sun_Viper no it's not lol you can get samsung under any service plan
7 years of updates? Who keeps a phone that long?

@@realtruth1448 Poor people do not buy flagships
While the features on these phones are top-notch, I just can't get past the bulky circular camera bump..yuck!-it's not the most appealing design.
Not to mention the camera quality is extremely bad (saw some other reviews against Samsung and Apple)

Its nice but with no offical google services and lack of carrier availability means its probably not going to sell super well.
foldings are not just about thickness and weight and crease, its about multi tasking and user interface, no fold can beat z fold 6, a perfect fold
does Magic V3 work with Verizon network in US?
Cant get it in the US :-(
