Many reviewers are reporting a quite bad battery life for v3 (global version), but it's weird, cause honor is the absolute king of batteries in past few years. I hope it was a glitch fixed with an update 🤷🏻♂️
Wow, impressive on the honor. If you tried to equate out 4400 mah vs 5100 mah I wonder how much mah per % it is. Also, would love to see a "big" fold test from the fold 6 vs honor vs pixel fold vs one plus open. That would be VERY interesting!
Who cares we have a bigger battery , Samsung should invest more in battery technologies like Vivo (they made a ~7mm phone (much thinner than most phones Y300 Pro) and Honor to keep up (it's probably 3rd party but still)
The Fold 6's larger display and extended battery life while using mobile data are quite impressive. However, the Honor V3 is truly remarkable in its capabilities. As always, Ben, your dedication and effort in creating these videos are commendable. Your hard work is evident in the quality of your content. Well done!
It is not really iPhone versus Fold6, the test is about the V3 v Fold6, and Honor managed an extra hour. Not only is that great for daily usage, with 15% longer SOT, but means that the internal battery health will degrade by 15% less on the Honor and with the larger capacity probably translates to an extra 6-12 months of use before it falls to 3500mAh afterthe Fold6 does.
Honor v3 is very impressive. However, fold 6 with a smaller battery and a large screen is pretty good. Although it came in last, it was not a fair comparison since the iPhone has a slightly bigger battery and a smaller screen. The 28-minute difference, in my opinion, is not a huge difference. Given the disadvantages with smaller batteries and larger screen. Samsung does need to step up the fold 6 line up to match the very impressive Honor V3.
Cheaper price than the compition and longer battery life honor really killing it they really backed their claim when roasting Samsung on their tweet on X once again thanks for giving us great content
I don't trust much GSMArena. Remember when they said that vivo x100 ultra had slow charge speed but just because they didn't turn on the fast charging option in the phone settings.
If you added gaming, things will change. Many people said the battery of Honor Magic v3 gets overheated after 20 minutes of heavy gaming and the battery goes crazy.
The Honor is incredible. The only downside I saw was, did it buffer quite a bit during the youtube test? Maybe the cellular radio isn't as good as the other 2?
That s how I always imagine it. A bigger device like the foldable should last longer and have a bigger battery. I know it s harder to implement, but it s way logical for me
Brown oppo n5 with 8gen4 is coming and previous one had 4800 mah now oppo is switching to silicon carbon battery so a larger battery 8gen4 and better display
Damn, this Huawei... excuse me, Honor, did an absolutely fantastic job. May it be a phone that will be able to last me through a day? My current Fold4 is barely getting 3 hours of SoT with my usage, so maybe this Huawei will be able to get 4, 4 and a half hours of SoT. Who knows.
Based on the fact v3 is on a larger battery it’s going to last longer even if the drain is on same level as the rest. Even that, it’s still impressive.
But why dont iPhone and Samsung adopt honors battery tech?? Is it an inferior tech? Does it degrade faster?? I have so many questions because these batteries are nuts
They're in competition with each other, why would they share unless it was lucrative with licensing? They need the edge when they release their products especially being the underdog.
Just a heads up - I noticed on Instagram Live that the iPhone is scrolling through the comments, while the other two phones are not. This likely means extra battery usage, as the iPhone probably operates at 120Hz, while the others are at 24Hz-60Hz on the foldable phones. I'm not sure if this makes a big difference, but scientifically, it would be better if they all operated at the same speed.
@@rrsharizam@rrsharizam That could be true, but we would like to see the refresh rate setting on so we can see what each app runs at to confirm there is no "battery optimisation" going on.
Give a critical unbiased review. The first place should be iPhone. Of course, you can attach a whole power bank to a phone, its gonna outperform iPhone's meagre 4k mAh battery.
The iPhone is as thick as these foldables and costs as much if not more. Also it has way smaller screen so uses way less battery. No matter what excuse you find, the truth is out there.
Appreciate the mobile data only test since it seems that my battery always dies quicker when im out and about.

I'm actually impressed with how well the fold 6 kept up with the iPhone throughout the test

@@Randomdude21-e yeah it lost by couple of minutes with the smallest battery. I'm so surprised 😯

How could Honor Magic v3 get the worst battery life ever on GSMARENA and best ever here?
Could mobile data only make the difference?
I don't trust much GSMArena. Remember when they said that vivo x100 ultra had slow charge speed but just because they didn't turn on the fast charging option in the phone settings.

Well yes and no, bigger screen should suck a whole lot more juice compared to the fruitphone
Plus 66w fast charging . What's the Samsung's charge rate 😂
It could make sense if they were whole foldable devices, such as the Google Fold, Honor Magic3, and Samsung Fold 7. That is my opinion.
Will battery test video come about iPhone 15 Pro Max vs Pixel 9 Pro Fold ?
Could you please make battery drain tests for flagship tablets
But why dont iPhone and Samsung adopt honors battery tech?? Is it an inferior tech? Does it degrade faster?? I have so many questions because these batteries are nuts
They want to milk consumers until they roll out a rage from customers and then put it and say its a new thing. Soon Samsung and Apple will extinct
Perhaps Honor isnt giving it out? It's also rather new/unproven tech, which could technically be a gamble.
They're in competition with each other, why would they share unless it was lucrative with licensing? They need the edge when they release their products especially being the underdog.
