- Alright folks. As we are moving into a world of electric cars, moments like this are cherished even more. We found a custom made Audi R8, which is probably the best sounding car ever. This is the pre facelift version, with the facelift exterior. Meaning, that the engine doesn’t have any regulations or limiters. It’s also fitted with a Quicksilver titanium exhaust and the sound it makes are just like an orchestra. Turn that volume up and enjoy!
Car: 2018 Audi R8 V10 Plus/Performance (610hp, V10 5.2 NA)
Performance: 0-100kmh(62mph): 2.87seconds (tested), 3.2 seconds (official)
Color: Merlin purple
Exhaust: Quicksilver Titanium exhaust
Tuning: Front and rear bumper, front head lights, rear diffuser - all from the facelifted R8 - Vorsteiner rear spoiler

V10 engines are the best in terms of sounds. The R8, Gallardo, Huracán, Carrera GT, LFA, D3 S8, you name it.

I got a 2017 R8 Spyder. Sometimes I feel tired with the bubbles and pops noise then I turn the car to normal model so that there is no bubbles and pops anymore, just pure engine sound. It feels then more like Ferrari sound.
Yes the R8 have many modes that turn the car into a normal car. Enjoy it!

The colour and exhaust of this particular Audi R8 reminds me a lot of Archie Hamilton's Audi R8 V10 Plus he owned a couple of years ago. Very nice.

Great looking car and what a sound! Purples my favorite but up close you can tell it doesn’t have that mirror finish.
Was cold and lots of ice on the car that day.

What color is this. I just bought a used 18 rws r8 in purple and the dealer claimed it was Violet purple but I’m convinced it’s Merlin purple.

As good as this channel is, to continue to churn out the same content year in, year out... it does get tired and starts to loose its appeal. I often watch these videos for a minute or two, then go to something else. Pretty sure a lot of people do that as you know what's coming.
